  • Patent number: 8566562
Abstract: An operation method of a memory includes the steps of calculating an offset of sequential write commands and the beginning of pages of a block of a non-volatile memory; shifting the block by the offset; and directly writing data from a host to the pages except the first and last pages of the block by the sequential write commands. In an embodiment, the pages are logical pages providing optimal writing efficiency and are determined before calculating the offset. The step of shifting the block by the offset is to increase corresponding logical block addresses (LBA) in the pages by the offset.

  • Publication number: 20130180864
Abstract: An improved electrolytic method for fabricating transparent conductive multi-component metal oxide powders is disclosed. By adjusting pH-value, the metal compositions that a transparent conductive oxide film requires are electrolyzed to form individual metal ion precursory solutions under the condition not to precipitate the solution. Then, the individual metal ion precursory solutions with the required composition ratio are mixed and the precipitate reaction is performed. Finally, transparent conductive multi-component oxide powders with the controlled composition ratio and composition homogeneity are obtained by calcining the washed, filtered, and dried co-precipitates.

  • Patent number: 8410652
Abstract: The rotor assembly contains a number of polar anisotropic ring magnets sequentially stacked, a number of supporting rings within the stacked ring magnets, and an axle threading through the supporting rings. The ring magnets are of a same diameter and length. Each supporting ring contains three co-centric rings: an inner steel ring, a middle rubber ring, and an outer steel ring. The supporting rings are positioned with substantially equal spacing and with a gap away from each aperture of the stacked ring magnets, so that additional weight elements could be positioned and adhered within the gap. The periodic positioning of a number of supporting rings could significantly reduce the weight of the motor assembly with much improved steadiness. Additionally, the middle rubber rings of the supporting rings provide a buffer mechanism for absorbing vibration and noise reduction.

  • Patent number: 8351207
Abstract: A heat pipe includes a conductive hollow case, a conductive capillary layer, a piezoelectric component, and a flexible component. The conductive hollow case has a first end and a second end. The first end is connected to a heat-generating component. The second end is a heat-dissipating end. The conductive capillary layer is formed on an inner wall of the conductive hollow case. A liquid stored in the conductive capillary layer can be heated to evaporate by the heat-generating component and then move toward the second end. The piezoelectric component is connected to the conductive capillary layer. The flexible component is disposed at a side of the piezoelectric component for being driven by the evaporated liquid so as to exert force upon the piezoelectric component. Thus, the piezoelectric component can generate electric energy, which can be transmitted from the conductive capillary layer to the conductive hollow case.

The controller comprises a plurality of control circuits and an arbitration circuit. Each control circuit is configured to generate a request to update the chip-enable (CE) signals for non-volatile memory, and the arbitration circuit is configured to determine when the requests are acknowledged. The arbitration circuit generates acknowledge signals to the control circuits when all of the requests of the control circuits have been received by the arbitration circuit. The CE signals for non-volatile memory are updated when requests are acknowledged.
