    Abstract: An apparatus and method are provided for precoding by limited cooperation in a wireless communication system. A method of data precoding by a Base Station (BS) in a wireless communication system includes determining a Channel Quality Indicator (CQI) parameter indicating channel size information between the BS and a User Equipment (UE) served by the BS; transmitting the determined CQI parameter through a backhaul to a central unit; receiving, from the central unit, a weight factor based on a CQI parameter from each cell; and determining a precoding vector based on the weight factor. The weight factor represents a relative ratio of an inter-cell environment that is to be interfered by the BS.

A first Mobile Station (MS) determines a DownLink (DL) duration, performs synchronization, selects one preamble code among a preamble code set reserved for the call setup of the MS out of the cell area, and transmits the selected preamble code during the determined DL duration. A second MS scans a preamble code during the DL duration, determines if the scanned preamble code is a preamble code for the call setup of the MS out of the cell area, and transmits a response message to the preamble code to the first MS.

The method for a centralized resource allocation in the wireless communication system based on the full duplex relay includes receiving channel information from a plurality of mobile stations (MSs) and relay stations (RSs); scheduling radio resources for a link between a base station (BS) and the MS and a link between the BS and the RS using the channel quality; constituting a first radio resource region for the link between the BS and the RS and a second radio resource region for the link between the BS and the MS; and scheduling radio resource for a link between the RS and the MS by reusing the first radio resource region. The relay link resource is reused in the full-duplex relay structure, and the system capacity can be raised by minimizing the interference in the resource utilization.

An information vector is encoded according to a Low Density Parity Check (LDPC) encoding scheme, thereby generating an LDPC codeword. Minimum surviving check nodes are reserved for recovery of punctured nodes in the LDPC codeword. A check node is selected having a smallest cost function from among unreserved check nodes. A variable node is selected being unpunctured and having a smallest cost function from among variable nodes connected to the selected check node. The selected variable node is punctured when the selected variable node is not connected to the reserved check node. A stopping set check is performed when the selected variable node is connected to the reserved check node. The variable node is punctured when the stopping set check has been successfully performed. The check node is selected until there remains no variable node to be punctured and puncturing the variable node.
