  • Patent number: 7144315
Abstract: A grinding wheel including a ring-shaped wheel, a first fixing cap, a second fixing cap and a buffer member. The ring-shaped wheel has a fixing section and a working section formed along outer circumference of the fixing section. The first and second fixing caps are respectively mounted on two sides of the fixing section. The buffer member is positioned between the first and second fixing caps for reducing shock produced in operation. The circumference of the buffer member is formed with multiple movable vanes. When the grinding wheel is rotated at high speed, the centrifugal force will deform the movable vanes of the buffer member to lean on the ring-shaped wheel for supporting the working section thereof.

  • Patent number: 6616719
Abstract: An air-liquid separating method and apparatus for compressed air. The high pressure air output from an air compressor is transferred through a transfer tube to pass through the cooling tube of a cooling tank. The cooling tube has a diameter larger than that of the transfer tube so that the high pressure air goes from a smaller room into a larger room and the pressure is relieved. The temperature of the high pressure air is lowered due to relief of the pressure and the pressure of the vapor is, approximately the saturated vapor pressure. The cooled high pressure air is further transferred to an air-liquid separating tank. The temperature of the air is lowered to the dew point due to further relief of pressure. At this time, the vapor contained in the high pressure air is condensed into liquid water which drops onto the bottom of the air-liquid separating tank and separates from the air.

  • Publication number: 20030041490
Abstract: According to an embodiment, the apparatus includes a conduit, a base assembly, and a drum. The base assembly has a blower unit to create suction at openings of a tube that is coupled to the conduit. The blower unit has sufficient strength so that particles can be sucked into the tube and then blown through the conduit past a distal opening of the conduit, while the conduit is vertically oriented such as a Christmas tree on display. The base assembly has a first catch that extends away from and surrounds the tube openings. The drum has a number of connected sections where each can pivot with respect to adjacent ones so that the sections can be folded on top of each other to form a stack. Each upper portion of the section has a fastening mechanism which allows upper portions to be removably attached to the portions of adjacent sections so as to form another catch that has an opening.
