  • Publication number: 20110279116
Abstract: A magnetic resonance diagnostic apparatus is configured in such a manner that: a high-frequency transmission coil transmits a high-frequency electromagnetic wave at a magnetic resonance frequency to an examined subject; a heating coil performs a heating process by radiating a high-frequency electromagnetic wave onto the examined subject at a frequency different from the magnetic resonance frequency; based on a magnetic resonance signal, a measuring unit measures the temperature of the examined subject changing due to the high-frequency electromagnetic wave radiated by the heating coil; and a control unit exercises control so that the measuring unit measures the temperature while the heating coil is performing the heating process, by ensuring that the transmission of the high-frequency electromagnetic wave by the high-frequency transmission coil and the radiation of the high-frequency electromagnetic wave by the heating coil are performed in parallel.

  • Publication number: 20110222766
Abstract: An edge code histogram of a model generated in a model image is registered. A target region with respect to the input image is set. An edge code histogram, for the target region is generated. A relative positional relationship between the edge code histogram of the model and the edge code histogram for the target region is sequentially changed, and a degree of coincidence between the edge code histograms at each relative position is calculated. A possibility that the region that matches the model is contained in the set target region from the sequentially calculated degree of coincidence between the edge code histograms is evaluated. Then a candidate point having a possibility of matching the model in the input image is specified while sequentially changing the position of the target region with respect to the input image and repeating steps above for each target region.

  • Patent number: 7999861
Abstract: When an area desired to be displayed with high accuracy and an area desired to be inspected and measured with high accuracy in a measuring object are smaller than a photographing range, the entire area of a composite image is displayed and designation of an area is received, to thereby generate an image of the entire area in which composition processing of optimizing luminance of pixels included in this area is performed. Therefore, an input part is provided for receiving the setting of a designated area in image data, a composite luminance distribution is calculated based on the size of a standardized luminance distribution value in the designated area, and composite image data is generated.

  • Publication number: 20110188779
Abstract: An image processing method and an image processing system can perform image processing with higher accuracy while a gloss is removed without immobilizing a continuously moving inspection object. The image processing apparatus images the inspection object moving in a predetermined direction plural times with an imaging unit disposed in a predetermined position while a visual field of the imaging unit is lighted by a lighting source disposed in a constant relative position with respect to the imaging unit, aligns plural images with the inspection object as a reference by searching sequentially a region indicating at least part of the inspection object between the two images in the plural images acquired by a series of imagings with the imaging unit, and produces a composite image from the aligned plural images.

  • Patent number: 7896213
Abstract: A medical stapler is provided with a stapler body having a head portion at one end thereof, which drives out medical staples S, and a manipulating lever that can be opened and closed by being turned in a state in which a part provided at the side of the head portion is housed in an accommodating portion of the stapler body. A grip portion opposed to the head portion of the manipulating lever is usually urged in an opening direction in which the grip portion protrudes from the accommodating portion. When a staple S is driven out, the manipulating lever is turned in a closing direction in which the manipulating lever is housed in the accommodating portion. Thus, the staple S is driven out of the head portion. Then, the staple S is put into skin “a” while both sides of a wound are brought toward each other. Thus, the wound is sutured while both tip end parts of the staple are inwardly bent.

  • Patent number: 7801357
Abstract: A determination target region includes a combination of a red gray image, a green gray image, and a blue gray image. A CPU part transforms a three gray value matrixes to a single first data array uniquely associated with a pixel position in the determination target region. The CPU part calculates a normalized correlation value with a single second data array transformed from a model image according to the same predetermined rule, and determines whether or not a match is found with the model image according to whether or not the normalized correlation value exceeds a predetermined threshold value.

  • Publication number: 20100232707
Abstract: This invention provides an image processing device and an image processing method capable of implementing pattern matching based on an edge code at relatively high speed with a smaller circuit configuration. In the image processing device according to the present embodiment, an information amount of a valid zone is diffused over an entire edge code image. In other words, the amount of information used in the entire edge code image is compressed by reducing the number of bits to assign to each pixel and effectively using the number of bits assigned to each pixel as a whole. If a valid zone for an edge EDG1, the following invalid zone in which the invalid edge code value continues, and the following valid zone for an edge EDG2 appear in a profile of the edge code value, increase/decrease information from the edge code value contained in the valid zone for the edge EDG1 to the edge code value contained in the valid zone for the edge EDG2 is assigned to the element corresponding to the invalid zone.

  • Publication number: 20100202020
Abstract: In a document processing system, a client PC transmits a request to generate a document for which multiple printing is to be prevented to a document generating server. The document generating server receives this request, and determines whether this request is one for generating the document for which multiple printing is to be prevented. Depending on the result of this determination, the document generating server appends a display for unauthorized printing to the document, and appends a button for printing operation in order to carry out printing of the document.

  • Patent number: 7728875
Abstract: An external I/F gives numerical information on an imaging device, input from PC or PLC, to a memory. The memory outputs the numerical information to CPU as well as retaining the numerical information. CPU transmits the numerical information through a camera to an operation control unit. The operation control unit performs correction using a correction value from a correction table. In order to correct a variation individually possessed by a lens unit or an illumination unit, the correction table is previously produced for each lens unit or illumination unit based on the numerical information from the camera. The post-correction control signals are output to a lens unit 62 and an illumination unit.

  • Publication number: 20100110180
Abstract: This invention provides an image processing device capable of appropriately generating a synthetic image with an enlarged dynamic range even when a measuring article is moving. A work to be a reference (reference work) is imaged a plurality of times under an exposure condition same as that for generating a synthesized image, and specified regions are registered as reference images from a plurality of input images acquired in the respective imaging processes. In an operation mode, a plurality of input images is acquired by imaging a work a plurality of times under a plurality of exposure conditions, and search processes based on the reference images are executed on the respective input images. A partial image having a predetermined size is extracted from each of the plurality of input images based on each specified position, and an image synthesizing process is executed on the plurality of extracted partial images to generate a synthesized image.

  • Publication number: 20100073395
Abstract: This invention provides an image processing device and an image processing method capable of generating synthetic image data containing effective image information without being influenced by the variation of the photographing environment. A correcting portion updates (shifts) a “brightness” upper and lower limit range according to a deviation ?E received from a deviation calculating portion. The correcting portion accepts an initial value Emax0 of the “brightness” upper limit and an initial value Emin0 of the lower limit in advance, so that the “brightness” upper limit and lower limit after update is (Emax0+?E) and (Emin0+?E), respectively. The “brightness” upper and lower limit range after the update calculated by the correcting portion is provided to a tone mapping unit.
