  • Publication number: 20090122333
Abstract: To create a job flow having machine type dependence and commonly usable among different types of devices, a CPU of a client PC displays first task information relating to tasks usable in a first print processing device and creates a first task cooperative job flow executable in the first print processing device. Then, the CPU of the client PC creates definition information of the first task cooperative job flow based on an edit instruction entered using the first task information. Furthermore, the CPU of the client PC produces definition information of a second task cooperative job flow executable in a second task processing device based on the definition information of the created first cooperative job flow as well as based on second task information relating to tasks usable in the second print processing device.

  • Publication number: 20080123946
Abstract: A color image configured by a plurality of pixels is displayed on an image display region, and an arbitrary region of the image displayed in the image display region is specified using a mouse and the like. A two-dimensional specific color map based on hue parameter and chroma parameter and a one-dimensional specific color map based on value parameter are displayed in a specific color map region. The color parameters of each pixel included in the specified region are acquired, and the corresponding position of each pixel included in the specified region is displayed in the specific color map based on the acquired color parameters. The specific range of the specific color is set by adjusting the range of hue, chroma, and value parameters in the specific color map, and the image having the color included in the specific range is extraction-processed according to an instruction.

  • Publication number: 20070176927
Abstract: There are provided an image processing method and an image processor for detecting an object to be detected in a simple and accurate manner without detailed adjustment of illumination. Light sources provided in four directions around a camera are sequentially lighted, and a camera is driven every time the one of the light sources is lighted to generate four images of a work. Further, a normal vector of a group of pixels having the same coordinate among the generated images is calculated by use of brightness of each pixel that belongs to the group and a previously obtained illumination direction vector corresponding to each of the light sources. Moreover, the normal vector of each pixel is converted into one-dimensional information showing a relation of the vector with respect to a space coordinate system, and after generation of an image representing the calculation result, a prescribed characteristic extracting process is executed.

  • Publication number: 20070153102
Abstract: An external I/F gives numerical information on an imaging device, input from PC or PLC, to a memory. The memory outputs the numerical information to CPU as well as retaining the numerical information. CPU transmits the numerical information through a camera to an operation control unit. The operation control unit performs correction using a correction value from a correction table. In order to correct a variation individually possessed by a lens unit or an illumination unit, the correction table is previously produced for each lens unit or illumination unit based on the numerical information from the camera. The post-correction control signals are output to a lens unit 62 and an illumination unit.

  • Publication number: 20070139549
Abstract: A control unit converts image information into differential signals to transmit to a controller. The control unit receives control signals (differential signals) for controlling a lens unit or an illumination unit, to control the lens unit or the illumination unit. Only a signal cable is used for being connected between an imaging device and the controller to remotely control the lens unit or the illumination unit from the controller. Therefore, compact wiring can be realized between the controller and the imaging device.
