    Abstract: A processing apparatus is provided that includes an encoder configured to encode current frames of video data using previously encoded reference frames and perform motion searches within a search window about each of a plurality of co-located portions of a reference frame. The processing apparatus also includes a processor configured to determine, prior to performing the motion searches, which locations of the reference frame to reload the search window according to a threshold number of search window reloads using predicted motions of portions of the reference frame corresponding to each of the locations. The processor is also configured to cause the encoder to reload the search window at the determined locations of the reference frame and, for each of the remaining locations of the reference frame, slide the search window in a first direction indicated by the location of the next co-located portion of the reference frame.

A laser generates chirped laser pulses via injection current modulation and a DPLL circuit locks the optical frequency sweep velocity. A high-quality linearly chirped laser pulse with a frequency excursion of 117.69 GHz at optical communication bands using a distributed feedback laser is provided.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method for preparing a molecular sieve catalyst. A water-in-oil micro-emulsion including a continuous phase containing an organic solvent and a dispersed phase containing an aqueous solution containing one or more metal salts and a water-soluble organic carbon source is prepared, hydrolyzed, and azeotropically distilled to form a mixture solution. The mixture solution is heated to carbonize the water-soluble organic carbon source to form nanoparticles each having a core-shell structure including a carbon-shelled metal-oxide. The nanoparticles containing the carbon-shelled metal-oxide are dispersed in a molecular sieve precursor solution. A nanoparticle-loaded molecular sieve is formed from the molecular sieve precursor solution containing the nanoparticles, and then calcined to remove carbon there-from to form a metal-oxide loaded molecular sieve.
