The door stop body rotates about the door stop rotation base to define a locked state or an unlocked state. By engagement between a first limiting portion and a second limiting portion, the rotary door stop is retained in the locked state for ease of door closing; and when the rotary door stop approaches a door frame, retention of the unlocked state may also be released while the door is closed.
