    Abstract: Techniques for implementing application-assisted VM provisioning operations, and in particular application-assisted live migration, are provided. In one set of embodiments, a hypervisor of a source host system can notify a guest application that the VM within which the guest application runs will be imminently live migrated from the source host system to a destination host system, prior to actually carrying out the live migration. In response, the guest application can execute one or more remedial actions that mitigate or avoid issues which may arise with respect to its runtime operation when the VM is stunned and switched over to the destination host system.

The problems of speed and security of existing hash processing are solved.

The gain coefficient corresponding to a frequency unit including more valid audio signals may be larger, and a gain coefficient corresponding to a frequency unit including fewer valid audio signals may be smaller, so that more audio signals corresponding to frequency parts including more valid audio signals are preserved, while less audio signals corresponding to frequency parts including fewer valid audio signals are preserved. In this way, fidelity and intelligibility of an audio signal are improved while quality of the audio signal is improved and noise is reduced.

In some aspects, a method can include suspending a lithium source in a solvent containing an oxidation reagent to extract lithium, forming an extracted lithium solution, separating the extracted lithium solution from residual solids of a lithium source, purifying the extracted lithium solution by precipitating and filtering impurities, and precipitating the lithium in the purified lithium solution to generate lithium carbonate (Li2CO3). In some embodiments, the method can further include preprocessing the lithium source to improve kinetics of the lithium extraction. In some embodiments, the preprocessing can include a cutting or shredding step to downsize the lithium source. In some embodiments, the lithium source can include lithium-ion battery waste.
