The PPE creates a SPE as a computing SPE for an application. The PPE determines idles ones of the plurality of SPEs, and creates a managing SPE from one of the idle SPEs. Each of the plurality of SPEs is associated with a local storage. The managing SPE informs the computing SPE of a starting effective address of the local storage of the managing SPE and an effective address for a command queue. The managing SPE manages movement of data associated with computing of the computing SPE based on one or more commands associated with the application. A computing SPE sends the one or more commands to the managing SPE for insertion into the command queue.

    Abstract: Described is a technology for load testing a service such as a medical data service (e.g., Microsoft Amalga® UIS) with mixed test sets. Simulated users perform randomly selected operations against the service. State machines are created to represent the simulated users, with the operations arranged within states of the state machine. By randomly selecting each state and its operations, the actions of many real users may be simulated, providing a realistic load test of the service. Moreover, to match certain types of usage scenarios, the states in a state machine may be weighted relative to one another so that the random selection is biased in favor of more weighted states. Similarly, each operation within a state may be weighted relative to each other operation within the same state, so that when a state is determined, the random selection is biased in favor of more weighted operations within that state.

The optomechanical transducer provides a large operating bandwidth and high efficiency while simultaneously having a small size and minimal power consumption, enabling a host of transformative phonon and signal processing capabilities. These capabilities include optomechanical transduction via pulsed phonon emission and up-conversion, broadband stimulated phonon emission and amplification, picosecond pulsed phonon lasers, broadband phononic modulators, and ultrahigh bandwidth true time delay and signal processing technologies.

Here, the model comprises an airborne image of ground surface. The XYZ coordinates of all the pixels of the image are uniquely attributed by the method and system presented in this invention. An image of the unified spectral and geospatial information model always covers a scene of ground surface. And, all objects visible in such a scene are measurable in terms of both radiometry and geometry. The unified spectral and geospatial information model can be made by the method and system of this invention with airborne imagery, GPS/IMU data, and ground surface elevation or range data.
