Abstract: An approach is provided for acquiring and integrating data into external services. According to the approach, image and/or video data and identification data are received from a client device. The image and/or video data includes one or more images and/or video data of an object that are acquired by the client device and the identification data is data that uniquely identifies the object. Record data is generated and stored that includes the identification data and at least a reference to the image and/or video data. The image and/or video data and the identification data are transmitted to an external service. This identification data allows an external service to associate the image and/or video data with other data maintained by the external service.

Abstract: An interactive voice response (IVR) system establishes an IVR call connection with a user. The IVR system sends a service recommendation request for the user to a voice recommendation system to acquire one or more voice service modules recommended to the user via the voice recommendation system. The IVR system assembles the voice service modules recommended to the user into a menu for voice display. The voice service modules recommended to the user are voice service modules matched with service demand data of the user among preset voice service modules. The IVR system no longer displays according to a fixed voice display process, but displays the voice service modules in a personalized manner. Therefore, the user, when acquiring corresponding services, is able to locate desirable voice service modules without executing feedback operations repeatedly, which shortens the voice display time and decreases the call loss, thereby reducing the usage of system resource.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus are provided for monitoring usage of a Software As A Service (SAAS) application for post-processing of scanned data generated by a client device (e.g., MFPs). A management system receives a pricing model for an SAAS application, where the pricing model includes a post-post processing feature of the SAAS application available to a user of the client device. The pricing model also includes information identifying a price for use of the post-processing feature. Information is received by the management system regarding use of the post-processing feature by the user, and a revenue report is generated regarding the post-processing feature.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are technologies for remote debugging in mobile web applications using a platform-independent debugging proxy server. Particularly, the debugging proxy server acts as an intermediary by fetching and performing instrumentation on a requested webpage by a target browser. Abstract: A method of making a vertical NAND device includes forming a lower portion of a memory stack over a substrate, forming a lower portion of memory openings in the lower portion of the memory stack, and forming a sacrificial material portion including an encapsulated cavity. The method also includes forming an upper portion of the memory stack over the lower portion of the memory stack and over the sacrificial material, forming an upper portion of the memory openings in the upper portion of the memory stack to expose the sacrificial material in the lower portion of the memory openings, removing the sacrificial material portion to connect the lower portion of the memory openings with a respective upper portion of the memory openings to form continuous memory openings, and forming a semiconductor channel in each continuous memory opening.

Abstract: A three dimensional stacked circuit device includes multiple decks of circuit elements, each deck including multiple tiers of circuit elements. Each deck includes a highly doped hollow channel extending through the deck. Below the first deck is a source conductor to drive activity of the circuit elements. Between each deck is a conductive stop layer that interconnects the hollow channel from one deck to the hollow channel of the deck adjacent to it. Thus, all hollow channels of all decks are electrically coupled to the source conductor.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus are disclosed for flexible presentation of Software As A Service (SAAS) applications to one or more client devices such as multi-function devices (e.g., MFPs). A management system receives presentation layout information for subscribed SAAS applications from users and administrators, generates a menu of subscribed SAAS applications for presentation to a user on a display of the client device, and transmits the menu to a client device for presentation to the user on a display of the client device. The management system may also provide for user/administrator customization of the menu of applications available to users, and for revocation of applications by an administrator of the management system.

One or more network services receive, from a network device, such as a multi-function peripheral (MFP), electronic document data that represents one or more electronic documents. A trace network service determines whether tracing has been specified for the electronic document data. In response to determining that tracing has been specified for the electronic document data, the trace network service tracks the processing of the electronic document data by the one or more network services. The trace network service generates trace report data that indicates results of the processing of the electronic document data by the one or more network services. The trace network service also transmits the trace report data to one or more specified recipients.

A method for forming the string of memory cells comprises forming a metal silicide source material over a substrate. The metal silicide source material is doped. A vertical string of memory cells is formed over the metal silicide source material. Abstract: A computing device hosting a website of a business may be operable to receive a first search input comprising a term submitted via a search bar on the website. Upon performing an internal search for the term with no result, the computing device may output information on the no-result. The computing device may then perform, using one or more external search engines, a search for the term. Search results of the search, performed using the external search engine(s), may be analyzed. Based on a result of the analysis, one or more particular character strings related to the term may be identified. The computing device may generate and store, based on the identifying of the particular character string(s), one or more alternative search suggestions. Upon subsequently receiving an input comprising at least a portion of the term entered in the search bar, the computing device may output the alternative search suggestion(s).

Abstract: Techniques are provided for allowing a user to create a document processing job (e.g., a print job, a scan job, a copy job, fax job) at a mobile device instead of at a document processing device, such as a printer, scanner, or copier. A cloud service interacts with the mobile device to retrieve job settings data from the mobile device. The cloud service generates a job identifier, associates the job identifier with job settings associated with the job settings data, and sends the job identifier to the mobile device, which displays the job identifier to the user. The user later enters the job identifier at the document processing device, which, in turn, uses the job identifier to request the job settings from the cloud service. The cloud service identifies the job settings based on the job identifier and sends the job settings to the document processing device.

Abstract: A multi-functional exercise machine, whose console has a transformation bearing and can be converted between a central control panel and an exercise workstation, so that the exercise machine can be used not only for intensive exercise but also for moderate exercise while working or entertaining at the same time. The exercise workstation has an arm support and a computer desk for a user to efficiently work with a personal computer free of distractions while doing exercise. The arm support is specially designed to minimize upper body movements. A supporting assembly for the console is specially designed to minimize vibration and shaking during exercise. The equipment can further comprise a force adjustable body support to decrease load by supporting predetermined amount of weight, so that a user can do exercise longer while working with a computer.

Abstract: Methods and system for printing a print job with cloud storage are disclosed. A web print server is provided for accessing a cloud storage server. The web print server is operable to download a print job from the cloud storage server to the web print server. The web print server downloads the print job based on an identification (of the print job) that is received from a web client remotely over a network. Subsequently, the print web server sends the print job to a printer for the print job to be printed from the printer. In one embodiment, the printer may comprise the web client.

Abstract: Techniques are provided for generating an auction item listing for an auction site. Generating an auction item listing comprises: receiving item identification data and item image data, wherein the item identification data uniquely identifies an item and the item image data comprises a digital representation of the item; retrieving item attribute data for the item using the item identification data, wherein the item attribute data specifies one or more attributes of the item; and causing, based upon both at least a portion of the item attribute data and at least a portion of the item image data, auction listing data to be generated and made available via an auction site.
