  • Publication number: 20060082834
Abstract: Scanner. A scanner for scanning an object comprises a main body, a cover, and a positioning mechanism. The cover is rotatably disposed on the main body. The positioning mechanism is disposed on the main body and the cover. When the cover is open and the object is disposed between the main body and the cover, the object is maintained thereon by the positioning mechanism. When the cover is closed, the cover forces the positioning mechanism to press on the object such that the object is abutted on the main body.

  • Patent number: 7002811
Abstract: A mounting apparatus for securing expansion cards (30) with cover plates (34) to a computer includes a chassis (10), a bracket (40) and a mounting member (50). The chassis includes a rear panel (14). The bracket includes a pair of guiding portions (44) for slidably receiving the mounting member. Each guiding portion defines a locating aperture (446) therein. The mounting member includes a main portion (52) and a pair of operating members (59). The main portion includes a base (58), and first and second sidewalls (53, 54). The second sidewall includes a pair of mounting holes (546). Each operating member includes a protrusion (596) and a fastening portion (598). When the operating members are rotated, the fastening portions engage in the locating apertures, the protrusions engage in the mounting holes, the main portion thereby urges the cover plates. Thus the expansion cards are mounted in the chassis.

  • Publication number: 20050280982
Abstract: A mounting assembly for data storage device includes a data storage device (10) with pinholes (13), a cage (20) receiving the data storage device, a fixing member (50) and a rotating member (60). The cage defines a plurality of mounting apertures (39) corresponding to the pinholes. The fixing member movably engages with the cage by an attaching member (80) in a perpendicular direction. A plurality of pegs (59) is extended from the fixing member. The rotating member is pivotally engaged with the cage, received behind the fixing member, and comprises two rims (65) capable of pushing or releasing the fixing member. When the rotating member pushes or releases the fixing member, the pegs of the fixing member are retreated from the pinholes device or inserted into the pinholes under functions of an elastic member (70).

  • Patent number: 6212740
Abstract: A fastening device for safety belt, including a first longer U-shaped biting plate, a second shorter U-shaped biting plate and an insertion pin. The first and second biting plate are formed with opposite ratchets on inner sides. The biting plates are positioned on two sides of a lower U-shaped suspending section of the safety belt and fitted with each other. The bent sections of the first biting plate cover the bent sections of the second biting plate in a stacked state. The U-shaped suspending section of the safety belt is clamped between the biting plates with the pin holes thereof aligned with each other. The insertion pin is passed through the pin holes and through the U-shaped suspending section of the safety belt. The ends of the insertion pin are enlarged to assemble with the safety belt by riveting, whereby the biting plates can be quickly slid along the suspending section of the safety belt to adjust the size of the fastening loop.

  • Patent number: 5352805
Abstract: Sulfonated 2'-acryloyltaxol and sulfonated 2'-O-acyl acid taxol derivatives are synthesized which have improved water solubility and stability while maintaining bio-activity. In particular, 2'-[(3-sulfo-1-oxopropyl)oxy]taxol sodium salt is synthesized by reacting taxol with acrylic acid, and subsequently reacting the 2'-acryloyltaxol with bisulfite in a Michael reaction. 2'-{[4-((2-sulfoethyl)amino)-l,4-dioxobutyl]oxy} taxol sodium salt and 2'-{[4-((3-sulfopropyl)amino)-1,4-dioxobutyl]oxy} taxol sodium salt are synthesized by reacting 2'-succinyltaxol with the tetrabutylammonium salts of taurine and 3-aminopropyl sulfonic acid, respectively, and subsequently exchanging the ammonium with sodium. Glycol derivatives of 2'-O-acyl acid taxols with improved water solubility are synthesized by reaction of a glycol with 2'-O-acyl acid taxol.
