Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The present invention relates to a tri-functional carrier formed by a plurality of rods bending at two sides, in which after a frame of the tri-functional carrier is folded, it can be converted into a back frame, a chair or a baggage carrier which is stored and located easily.

[0002] Currently, people likes to go mounting or camping for releasing. However, a longer time is necessary for going mounting or camping, and therefore, many devices and objects are necessary to be carried. In the past, peoples often places the these objects in a back bag made of cloth or canvas. While it is often occurs that the objects are extruded to deform or even is destroyed for longer traveling. Therefore, a back frame is developed for receiving the back bag or trunk having object therein so as to retain the objects received not to deform or is destroyed. However, the prior art back frame is used to placed objects and can not be used in other function. Therefore, the folding and storing operation are not convenient.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0003] Accordingly, the primary object of the present invention is to provide a tri-functional carrier formed by a plurality of rods bending at two sides is disclosed. By the aforesaid structure, after a frame of the tri-functional carrier is folded, it can be converted into a back frame, a chair or a baggage carrier which is stored and located easily.

[0004] To achieve above objects, the present invention provides a tri-functional carrier which is formed by a retainer, a driven unit being pivotally engaged to the retainer, a supporting unit pivotally engaged to one end of the retainer.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0013] With reference to FIGS. 1, and 2, the perspective view and schematic view of the present invention are illustrated. The present invention is related to a tri-functional carrier which is formed by a plurality of rods bending at two sides. The tri-functional carrier of the present invention includes a retainer 1, a driven unit 2, and a supporting unit 3. After the frame is folded. The present invention can be converted as a back frame, a chair and a baggage carrier, which is easily to be stored or placed.

[0014] The retainer 1 has one end being installed with an axial rod 12. The two sides of the axial rod 12 can be installed with respective sliding elements 121, 122. The two sides of the retainer 1 are installed with respective pins 13, 13′. A pull strip 111 serves to connect the two pins 13, 13′. Furthermore, A back pad 14 with buckle 141 and back strip 11 is installed on the retainer 1. The back strip 11 runs across the axial rod 12.

[0015] The driven unit 2 is pivotally engaged to the retainer 1. The driven unit 2 is installed with sliders 21, 22. The driven unit 2 is engaged with the sliders 21, 22 by a cross bar 23. A load portion 24 with a buckling piece 241 is supported across the driven unit 2 and the cross bar 23. One end of the driven unit 2 is installed with a supporting frame 25. One side thereof is installed with a hook 28. The load portion 24 and the back pad 14 may be made by canvas or flannelette, or others.

[0016] The supporting unit 3 is pivotally installed to one end of the retainer 1. One end of the supporting unit 3 is installed with a sliding stopper 31. Two sides of the supporting unit 3 are installed with fixing portions 32, 33. The fixing portions 32, 33 are adjustable to suit the requirement of chair. Therefore, by aforesaid unit, a tri-functional carrier of the present invention formed.

[0017] Referring to FIGS. 2, and 3, a lateral view and a schematic view showing the folded condition of the present invention is illustrated. As shown in the figures, as the back frame is used, the user may hook the hook 28 to the axial rod 12 of the retainer 1 for enhancing the strength of the back frame. If the tri-functional carrier is want to be stored, it is only necessary to move the hook 28 leave away from the axial rod 12 of the retainer 1 so that the driven unit 2 will not be fixed to the axial rod 12. Then the cross bar 23 passes through the driven unit 2 of the sliders 21, 22. After the driven unit 2 is folded upwards, then the sliders 21, 22 pivotally engaged on the retainer 1 move the driven unit 2 upward to a resisting portion 15 of the retainer 1. The driven unit 2 will not further move upwards. Then the buckle 141 on the back pad 14 will be buckled to the buckle 241 of the load portion 24. Thus, the operation of storage is accomplished.

[0018] Referring to FIGS. 4 and 5, an operation of converting the present invention as a baggage carrier is illustrated. As shown in the figures, when the back frame is desired to be converted into a baggage carrier, it is only necessary to move upwards the supporting unit 3 upwards so that the supporting unit 3 is parallel to the retainer 1, and then the pull strip 111 is pulled so that the pins 13, 13′ is reduced inwards due to the driving of the pull strip 111. Then, the through holes 34 of the supporting unit 3 will be at positions with respect to the pins 13, 13′ at two sides of the retainer 1. The pull strip 111 is released so that the pins 13, 13′ at two sides of the retainer 1 are inserted into the through holes 34, and thus, the supporting unit 3 is in parallel to the retainer 1. Then, the supporting frame 25 of the driven unit 2 is moved downwards. It will cause that as the back frame is converted into the baggage carrier, the supporting frame 25 is located on the ground as a supporter, and then the sliding elements 121, 122 serves when the user pull the baggage carrier.

[0019] Referring to FIGS. 6 and 7, an operation and schematic view of the present invention being converted into a chair. As shown in the figures, when the user is desired to converted baggage carrier into a chair, the user at first move the supporting frame 25 to return to the original state, i.e., parallel to the driven unit 2. Then, the hook 28 is moved away from the axial rod 12 so that the driven unit 2 is no further fixed to the axial rod 12. Then, the sliders 21, 22 pivotally on the retainer 1 will move the driven unit 2 upwards to the resisting portion 15 of the retainer 1. Then the supporting unit 3 will run across the driven unit 2 so that the fixing portions 32, 33 can support the driven unit 2. Therefore, the operation of converting a baggage car into a chair is accomplished. Furthermore, one end of the supporting unit 3 is supported on the ground to match to the sliding elements 121, 122, and by the sliding stopper 31, the supporting unit 3 on the ground is protected and is stopped from sliding. As a result, a user may seat on the load portion 24 as a chair and the back of the user resists on the back pad 14 of the retainer 1. Thus, the user is comfortable.

[0020] In summary, the tri-functional carrier of the present invention has improved the detects in the prior art so that the structure of the back frame is improved and the present invention is more convenient, stable, comfortable.

[0021] The present invention is thus described, it will be obvious that the same may be varied in many ways. Such variations are not to be regarded as a departure from the spirit and scope of the present invention, and all such modifications as would be obvious to one skilled in the art are intended to be included within the scope of the following claims.
