Abstract: A folding chair including holders for stacking and connection of multiple chairs to each other is provided. Each folding chair includes a back support member pivotally connected to a seat member, front and rear leg frames pivotally connected proximal to front ends and rear ends of opposing side bars of the seat member, respectively, and arm rests pivotally connected to opposing side bars of the back support member. The folding chair includes one or more first and second holders operably attached to the back support member and the rear leg frame, respectively. Using the first and second holders, the folding chair is connectable to another folding chair and in turn to another folding chair(s) to form a connected stack of folding chairs that can be carried and transported by a user.

Abstract: The interconverting support frames include a plurality of interconnecting frame members that are configured to be selectively assembled in a pack frame assembled configuration and a seat frame assembled configuration. The plurality of interconnecting frame members includes a central frame member, a plurality of longitudinal frame members, and a plurality of transitioning frame members. The longitudinal frame members are configured to support a pack of the load-carrying device in the pack frame assembled configuration. The transitioning frame members are configured to interconnect with and selectively disconnect from the central frame member to transition the interconverting support frame between the pack frame and the seat frame assembled configurations.

Abstract: A transformable floor chair has a seat and a back. The seat has straps for carrying the chair when transformed into a transportation configuration. The straps are located on the underside of the seat when in a deployed configuration. A backpack including zippered enclosure is affixed to the rear of the floor chair back. The backpack remains usable and functional when in either the transportation configuration or the deployed configuration. When transformed into the transportation configuration, the upper portion of the seat is secured to the front face of the chair back, thereby sandwiching the chair between the straps and the backpack.

Abstract: A portable child safety restraint system is provided. The portable child safety restraint system includes a child safety seating system and a backpack. The child safety seating system includes a seat bottom that is connected to a seat back such that the seat bottom is rotatable from an open position to a closed position. The child safety seating system is entirely removable from the backpack or permanently secured to or within at least one enclosure of the backpack. A method of securing a child in a portable child safety restraint system is also provided.

Abstract: An apparatus for securing items to a pack for ready and convenient access is provided. The apparatus includes a load rail for use in connection with a pack, such as a backpack. The load rail comprises an elongated body formed of a dimensionally stable material having first and second end portions. The end portions may take the form of depending feet for attaching to the pack via fasteners. A plurality of load rails may be provided along one side of the pack, such as opposite the side including one or more straps for being worn by a user, and may associate with a connector for connecting gear to the pack via the load rails. When mounted, an intermediate portion of the or each load rail may be raised above and spaced from a surface of the pack to facilitate receipt of a portion of the connector.

In a backpack mode where the backpack chair is carried as a backpack, the two sides extend in a vertical plane and the semicircular section extends in a substantially horizontal plane. The backpack chair comprises a top member that includes a combined seat and back support for the U-shaped frame. In the sitting mode, the top member is attached to the U-shaped frame, and in the backpack mode, the top member is detached from the U-shaped frame.

The resting panel retains an injured animal in a semi-recumbent position.
