[0015] FIG. 5 is a schematic operational view of the hand operable exercising machine having an adjustable handle as shown in FIG. 1 in use.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0016] Referring to the drawings and initially to FIGS. 1-4, a hand operable exercising machine having an adjustable handle in accordance with a preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises a handle 1, an inertial rotation body 2 rotatably mounted on the handle 1, and an electronic counter 3 secured on the handle 1.

[0017] The handle 1 includes a pivot rod 11, two detachable connecting seats 12 and 13 secured on the two ends of the pivot rod 11, and two handgrips 14 and 15 pivotally mounted on the two detachable connecting seats 12 and 13 respectively.

[0018] Each of the two ends of the pivot rod 11 is formed with at least one opening 111 and at least one square slot 112 aligning with the at least one opening 111.

[0019] Each of the two detachable connecting seats 12 and 13 has an inner wall provided with at least one elastic plate 121 and 131 which is provided with a locking hook 122 and 132 that may be extended through the at least one opening 111 and may be locked in the at least one square slot 112 of each of the two ends of the pivot rod 11, so that the two detachable connecting seats 12 and 13 may be detachably secured on the two ends of the pivot rod 11.

[0020] The pivot rod 11 has a mediate portion formed with two spaced positioning holes 113. The electronic counter 3 includes two covers 31 that may be combined with each other, so that the electronic counter 3 may be mounted on the pivot rod 11. One of the two covers 31 of the electronic counter 3 has an inner wall provided with two spaced protruding posts 311 that may be inserted into the two spaced positioning holes 113, so that the electronic counter 3 may be fixed and positioned on the pivot rod 11. The electronic counter 3 includes an indicator 32 mounted on one of the two covers 31, and a detector bar 33 mounted in the one cover 31 and connected to the indicator 32.

[0021] The inertial rotation body 2 is a substantially U-shaped pivot body for passage of the electronic counter 3. The inertial rotation body 2 includes two pivot rings 21 rotatably mounted on the pivot rod 11. The two pivot rings 21 are retained by the electronic counter 3 and the two detachable connecting seats 12 and 13. The inertial rotation body 2 has a bottom provided with an inertial weight 22, so that the inertial rotation body 2 may be mounted on the pivot rod 11 to perform an inertial pivot movement. One of the two pivot rings 21 of the inertial rotation body 2 is provided with a magnetic body 4 that may be sensed by the detector bar 33 mounted in the cover 31 of the electronic counter 3. Thus, when the inertial rotation body 2 is rotated through a circle, the magnetic body 4 may be sensed by the detector bar 33 of the electronic counter 3 once at a time, so that the indicator 32 of the electronic counter 3 may indicate the times of rotation of the inertial rotation body 2.

[0022] In operation, referring to FIG. 5, the user's hands may hold the two handgrips 14 and 15 to rock and rotate the inertial rotation body 2, so that the inertial rotation body 2 may be rotated by the inertial action of the inertial weight 22, thereby exercising the muscles of the user's hands. In addition, the indicator 32 of the electronic counter 3 may indicate the times of rotation of the inertial rotation body 2. In addition, the two handgrips 14 and 15 may be pivoted through 180 degrees freely as shown in FIG. 3, thereby enhancing the versatility of the exercising machine. Further, the exercising machine has a small volume, so that it can be stored easily. Further, the exercising machine may be assembled and dismantled easily and conveniently.

[0023] Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment as mentioned above, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention. It is, therefore, contemplated that the appended claim or claims will cover such modifications and variations that fall within the true scope of the invention.
