Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] 1. Field of the Invention

[0002] The present invention relates to a cosmetics container, and more particularly a cosmetics container, which has a transparent holding member having a lower side formed with three-dimensional designs having convexities and concavities to mould cosmetics into particular shape when the cosmetics are contained therein.

[0003] 2. Brief Description of the Prior Art

[0004] Referring to FIGS. 5 and 6, a conventional cosmetics container includes a containing member 10, and a cover 20. The transparent containing member 1 has a holding room 102 for containing cosmetics therein. The cover 20 is pivoted to one edge of the containing member 1 at one edge thereof. The cover 20 has an engaging hook 201 formed on the opposite edge, while the containing member 10 has an engaging protrusion 101 formed on the opposite edge thereof so that when the cover 20 is closely together with the containing member 10 to close the holding room 102, the cover 20 can be fixedly positioned on the holding room 102 with the hook 201 being engaged with the protrusion 101 of the containing member 10.

[0005] Cosmetics contained in the holding room 102 are presented with designs on the upper surface. The designs are usually three-dimensional, having convexities and concavities, to be more attractive, and can be bicolor, and formed with trademarks. However, the designs are prone to wear and disappear after the cosmetics are used for a short time because they are formed on the upper surface of the cosmetics. In addition, such designs cannot be on the upper surfaces of liquid cosmetics such as paste-form cosmetics, finger nail oils, and skin creams. The manufacturers have to make designs on the covers or outer sides of the containing members instead. Therefore, such containers have relatively limited function.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0006] It is a main object of the present invention to provide a cosmetics container, which has a transparent holding member having a lower side formed with three-dimensional designs to mould cosmetics into particular shape when the cosmetics are contained therein; thus, the container together with cosmetics can be used as ornaments, and the three-dimensional bottom side of the cosmetics contacting the designs will not be damaged unless the cosmetics are near to running out.

[0007] The cosmetics container of the present invention includes a transparent containing member, and a cover. The transparent containing member has a lower section and a surrounding section to define a holding room usable for containing cosmetics therein. The lower section of the containing member is formed with designs having accordingly formed convexities and concavities on an upper surface thereof so that cosmetics can be mounded into a three-dimensional shape on a lower side by means of the designs having uneven surfaces when the cosmetics are contained in the holding room.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0008] The present invention will be better understood by reference to the accompanying drawings, wherein:

[0009] FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the cosmetics container according to the present invention.

[0010] FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view of the cosmetics container of the present invention.

[0011] FIG. 3 is an exploded perspective view of the cosmetics container of the second embodiment of the present invention.

[0012] FIG. 4 is a perspective view of the cosmetics container of the third embodiment of the present invention.

[0013] FIG. 5 is a perspective view of the conventional cosmetics container as described in the Background.

[0014] FIG. 6 is a cross-sectional view of the conventional cosmetics container.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0015] Referring to FIG. 1, a cosmetics container of the present invention includes a transparent containing member 1, and a transparent cover 2.

[0016] The transparent containing member 1 has a holding room 12, which is defined by a lower section and a surrounding section of the containing member 1 for containing cosmetics therein. The containing member 1 has an opening on top of the holding room 12.

[0017] Furthermore, the lower section of the containing member 1 has designs, which have convexities and concavities on an upper surface thereof. Thus, when cosmetics are contained in the holding room 1, the cosmetics can be mounded into a three-dimensional shape on a lower side thereof. A wide variety of cosmetics can be contained in the present container to be mould into particular shape with the designs of the containing member 1, for example lip cosmetics, powders, foundations, paste-form cosmetics, and skin creams.

[0018] Referring to FIG. 4, the containing member 1 of the cosmetics container further has compartmentalizing walls 14 on borders between adjacent ones of the convexities and concavities of the designs so that the holding room 12 is divided into several compartments for containing cosmetics of different colors therein.

[0019] The transparent cover 2 is pivoted to one edge of the containing member 1 at one edge thereof. The cover 2 has an engaging hook 21 formed on the opposite edge, while the containing member 1 has an engaging protrusion 11 formed on the opposite edge thereof so that when the cover 2 is pivoted to be closely together with the containing member 1 to close the holding room 12, the cover 2 can be fixedly positioned on the holding room 12 with the hook 21 being engaged with the protrusion 11 of the containing member 1.

[0020] Referring to FIG. 3, the cosmetics container can also be made to consist of a transparent holding member 1, and a transparent cover 2, which are separable from each other. The present holding member 1 has a holding room 12, and three-dimensional designs like that in the last embodiment. The holding member 1, and the transparent cover 2 have threaded portions 13, 22 respectively so that the cover 2 can be connected to the containing member 1 to close the holding room 12 with the threaded portion 22 thereof being screwed onto the threaded portion 13 of the containing member 1.

[0021] In using cosmetics contained in the containing member 1, the appearance of the three-dimensional side of the cosmetics contacting the designs will not be damaged unless a big proportion of the cosmetics have been used because the three-dimensional side is on the bottom of the cosmetics.

[0022] From the above description, it can be easily understood that the cosmetics container of the present invention has advantages as followings:

[0023] 1. Besides the original function, i.e. containing cosmetics, the cosmetics container is relatively attractive due to the three-dimensional designs formed in the transparent holding body, and moulds cosmetics into particular shape with the designs in order to increase attractiveness of the same. Therefore, the container together with cosmetics is ornamental.

[0024] 2. When the containing member is provided with compartmentalizing walls, and compartments, several cosmetics of different colors can be contained in the container to provide users with convenience, and the whole product is even more attractive.

Claims

1. A cosmetics container, comprising

a transparent containing member having a holding room defined by a lower section and a surrounding section thereof for containing cosmetics therein; the containing member having an opening on top of the holding room;
a cover used for closing the opening of the containing member;
the lower section of the containing member being formed with designs having convexities and concavities on an upper surface thereof in order for cosmetics to be mounded into a three-dimensional shape on a lower side by means of the designs thereof when the cosmetics are contained in the holding room.

2. The cosmetics container as claimed in claim 1, wherein the containing member is provided with a plurality compartmentalizing walls on borders between adjacent convexities and concavities of the designs so that the holding room is divided into a plurality of compartments for containing cosmetics of different colors therein.

3. The cosmetics container as claimed in claim 2, wherein the cover is pivoted to a first edge of the containing member at a first edge thereof, and has an engaging hook at a second edge opposite to the first edge thereof, and the containing member has a protrusion formed on a second edge opposite to the first edge thereof for allowing the engaging hook to be engaged with when the cover closes the holding room.

4.
