BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

FIG. 1 is a front perspective view of a combination cigar cutter, and disposable lighter case.

FIG. 2 is a bottom view showing a concealed cigar cutter.

FIG. 3 is a rear perspective view of the apparatus

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

The standing case of the invention provides protection to a disposable lighter from abrasion, crushing, thermal and electrical shock, and being lost or misplaced both by a keychain attachment as well as an attractive design. The flat base of the case conceals and protects a cigar cutter. A cap of the case protects the flint and valve of the disposable lighter.

FIG. 1 is a front perspective view of a cigar cutter/lighter storage case 10 of the present invention. The apparatus is a cylinder having a compartment sized in order to receive commercial disposable lighters such as BIC.RTM. type disposable lighters.

The housing can be made of metal selected from the following group: a precious metal, a polished metal, a coated metal, or a stainless steel. At least one axially extending opening at the top provides access to a compartment containing a elastic membrane being sized and shaped to removably retain a conventional disposable lighter. The invention further comprises a cover hingeably coupled with a spring action and a keychain ring shown in FIG. 3.

The apparatus further includes a cutter element concealed in the base shown in the bottom view FIG. 2, a compartment enclosing a folding knife, and a compartment enclosing a folding corkscrew shown in FIG. 1. The cutter element has first and second opposed side elements, each element comprising a protuberance and a curved cutting member, or knife. The first and second side members define an opening for receiving the mouthy end of the cigar but are axially compressed by thumb and fingers grasping the opposing side elements. The cutting member is pivotally rotated by axial rotation of the housing relative to the axis of the cigar, whereby the mouthy end of the cigar is cut. The apparatus further includes a rubberized gripping surface coupled to the side wall of the cylinder shown in FIG. 3.

Materials:

    • Stainless Steel Outer Shell
