Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a dispensing pump to dispense the liquid content out of a container, which is used to pump the liquid content out of the container or bottle, and able to immediately seal the orifice so as to prevent intrusion of rubbish from the orifice into the bottle.

2. Description of the Prior Art

Installation of a beak to a squeezable bottle is a common practice no matter the contents in the bottle are a lotion rinse water, liquid drugs, or seasonings. Indeed, it is very convenient for a user to use the content in the bottle by only squeezing a tap on the bottle when needed.

Though so convenient and handy, it is inevitable that drips remain on the beak tip after application, and probably may drop on the table or the ground. The remaining drips on the beak tip will dry up before long and clog the orifice that causes the bottle unsqueezable for successive use unless the beak tip is cleaned. If the content is a densely concentrated eatable liquid as a jam, even a drip of the content carelessly drops on the table, it might induce ants or other insects, or even cause them to intrude into the bottle together with the rubbish. Such a problem affects the hygienic conditions severely and annoys both the user and supplier.

For these defects noticeable on the prior art, an improvement is seriously required.

In order to palliate the defects inherent in the conventional technique described above, the present inventor has grappled with this matter in full swing for a long time and come to realization of the present invention.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The primary aspect of the present invention to provide a dispensing pump to dispense the liquid content out of a container whose orifice can be immediately sealed after the liquid content has been pumped out so as to prevent the drips from remaining at the orifice.

Another aspect of the present invention is to provide a dispensing pump to dispense the liquid content out of a container that the orifice of the container can be sealed to prevent intrusion of the foreign materials from the orifice into the container that may contaminate the content thereof.

To achieve the above aspects, the present invention is essentially composed of a main body, a L shaped discharge tube, and a clean safe cap.

The main body has a recessed compartment formed at the front portion thereof with at least one annular slot inside, and a flow path in communication with the compartment is provided in the main body.

The L shaped discharge tube has an angled nozzle at its one end with an annular paw formed at the exterior of the angled nozzle. While at the other end of the L shaped discharge tube there is a coupler head with at least one ferrule provided at the exterior of the coupler head. The exit port and the coupler head are communicated each other with a flow path. The L shaped discharge tube is inserted into the compartment of the main body from the coupler head and the ferrule of the coupler head and it is engaged with the annular slot of the compartment.

The clean safe cap has a stop disk provided at a proper location in it. There is a lid attached to one side at the lower end of the clean safe cap. The lid is provided with a stop block respectively at its both sides, and a cock is formed within the lid. A trammeling slot is formed at both inner surfaces of the opposite side at the lower end where the lid is attached. The clean safe cap covers over the angled nozzle of the L shaped discharge tube and engages with the L shaped discharge tube with its stop disk hooked on the paw. When the lid is put on the clean safe cap, the stop block is trapped in the trammeling slot. At this moment the cock will immediately seal the orifice to prevent the content from dropping out of the orifice and interrupt intrusion of the foreign materials into the container from the orifice.

These features and advantages of the present invention will be fully understood and appreciated from the following detailed description with reference to the accompanying drawings.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

FIG. 1 is a fragmentary sectional view of the dispensing pump according to the present invention;

FIG. 2 is a three dimensional view of the dispensing pump according to the present invention; and

FIGS. 3A and 3B are the drawings illustrating the operation of the dispensing pump according to the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

Referring to both FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, the dispensing pump of the present invention is essentially composed of a main body 1, a L shaped discharge tube 2, and an clean safe cap 3.

The main body 1 has a recessed compartment 11 formed at the front portion thereof with several annular slot 111 inside A flow path 12 is connected with the compartment 11 is provided in the main body 1.

The L shaped discharge tube 2 has an angled nozzle 21 at its one end with an annular paw 211 formed at exterior of the angled nozzle 21. At the other end of the L shaped discharge tube 2 is a coupler head 22 with at least one ferrule 221 provided at exterior of the coupler head 22. The angled nozzle 21 and the coupler head 22 are connected with a flow path 23. The L shaped discharge tube 2 is inserted into the compartment 11 of main body 1 from the coupler head 22. The ferrule 221 of the coupler head 22 is engaged with the annular slot 111 of the compartment 11 such that the main body 1 and the L shaped discharge tube 2 are tightly conjoined together. The flow part 12 formed in the main body 1 and the flow path 23 formed in the L shaped discharge tube 2 can be communicated with each other.

The clean safe cap 3 has a stop disk 31 provided at a proper location in it. There is a lid 32 attached to one side at the lower end of the clean safe cap 3. The lid 32 is provided with a stop block 321 respectively at both sides, and a cock 322 is formed within the lid 32. A trammeling slot 33 is formed on inner surface of the opposite side at the lower end where the lid 32 is attached. The clean safe cap 3 covers over the angled nozzle 21 of the L shaped discharge tube 2 and engages with the L shaped discharge tube 2 with its stop disk 31 hooked on the paw 211 of the L shaped discharge tube 2.

The improved structure for the dispensing pump of the present invention is constructed as such.

Referring to FIG. 3A and FIG. 3B, these are the drawings illustrating the operation of the dispensing pump according to the present invention. When it is intended to use the content of the container 4, at first open the lid 32 of the clean safe cap 3, the stop block 321 and the cock 322 of the lid 32 will respectively liberated from the trammeling slot 33 and the angle nozzle 21. The user may begin pumping the main body to release the content. When it does not pump any more, put on the lid 32 on the clean safe cap 3. The stop block 321 will be confined in the trammeling slot 33, and the cock 322 hermetically seals the orifice of the angled nozzle 21 thereby preventing the leakage of content from the orifice and intrusion of foreign materials into the container 4 from the orifice.

After having finished reading over the above detailed description of the present invention, it will be clearly understood that the present invention has several features which are distinctly superior to any other conventional techniques, and are as follows:

1. The structure of the present invention is able to immediately seal the orifice so as to prevent intrusion of foreign material into the bottle.

2. The structure may prevent inducing any insects such as ants from intruding into the container to cause contamination.

3. The dexterously contrived performance of the cap, cock, and stop block will perfectly prevent remaining drips on the orifice after application.

4. The structure is applicable to any type of container to dispense its liquid content.

5. The structure is simply constructed, easy to handle and can be fabricated at low costs.

Many changes and modifications in the above described embodiment of the invention can of course, be carried out without departing from the scope there of. Accordingly, to promote the progress in science and useful arts, the invention is disclosed and is intended to be limited only by the scope of the appended claims.
