The lid is removably coupleable to the base plate and has both a pintle (122) extending from and a gasket (124) disposed on an inner surface thereof. When the lid and the base plate are coupled, the pintle extends into and seals a first orifice (108) disposed in the first tube head and the gasket is urged into sealing contact with a second orifice (110) disposed in a second tube head (118) of a second tube (116) of the multi-chamber tube container.

A free end of one first leg may have a beveled edge, and the free end of the other leg may have a flat edge, and each leg may have one or more score lines to aid cutting lengths of the first and second legs. The legs are connected together at a predetermined fixed angle, or at an adjustable angle, such as by an adjustable hinge. A pair of opposing vanes may be attached within opposing sides of the duct to form a venturi within the duct.

Abstract: The disclosure provides a mercury removal system for a coal-fired power plant comprising: a mercury content monitoring system configured to monitor a mercury concentration in flue gas; a fly ash collecting device configured to collect fly ash from an electrostatic precipitator in the coal-fired power plant; a modifying device configured to be supplied with the collected fly ash and prepare a mercury sorbent from the fly ash; a sorbent injector configured to inject the mercury sorbent into flues of the coal-fired power plant so as to mix and contact with the flue gas in the flue and adsorb the elemental mercury in the flue gas. Thus, the concentration of the mercury pollutant emission is decreased.

The coarse particle transport enabling area is configured to allow the coarse particles to freely exit the grinding area and to mitigate the coarse particles from being circulated back into the grinding area.

A spout and handle that can withstand the heat are fitted to the can for pouring the melted tar sealant in a fluid state from the can into a crack to be sealed.

The coupling connects to another conduit which connects to a spigot. The reservoir has a flat bottom surface, which allows for it to stand alone, outside of the insulated cooler if desired. The reservoir may also be placed inside the insulated cooler and in that case, the conduit connected to the spigot threads through one of the insulated cooler's walls to connect to the spigot to allow the flow of liquid to the exterior of the cooler.

The rotatable top portion can be selectively rotatable relative to the cover base portion and the container portion. The clump decimator can rotate as the rotatable top portion is rotated to agitate the contents of the container portion while they are being dispensed.

The push button moves a lid slide that extends opposite to the hinge and contains an extension that engages with a notch in the upper lid to hold the upper lid closed. On actuating the push button, the lid slide is pulled toward the push button and the extension at the other end of the lid slide moves out of engagement of the outer lid, thereby opening the outer lid.

Abstract: The present invention relates to maximizing advertising space on product packaging. Embodiments of the present invention relate to a method of increasing advertising space on various product packaging by increasing the graphic space on and apparent volume of the packaging, such as those used for cosmetics and toiletries. Preferred embodiments include a product packaging with a partially or completely recessed container closure. Further preferred embodiments include a container closure that is threaded, fused, or snapped in to the body of the container. Embodiments of the invention can be modified to accommodate existing products or provide a unique package design for emerging products.

The upper surface sits above the opening of the bottle. It has a spout having an exposed front surface, a front inside surface, and a cap rim. The cap is pivotally attached to the base to permit movement of the cap relative to the base between an open position and a closed position. The exposed front surface and front inside surface together have a bottom end and a top end. The inside front surface contains a spout cap, such that when the cap is closed the spout cap mates with the spout to form a liquid tight seal, and such that when the cap is opened the liquid tight seal between the spout and the spout cap is opened.

The device includes a housing, a restrictor and an insert that fits within and cooperates with the housing and restrictor to dispense the oral composition. Changes in relative position between the insert and the housing facilitate selective alignment of the various channels with a discharge orifice formed in the housing such that a user can vary the way the proportions of discreet fluids making up the oral composition are dispensed through said orifice.

Abstract: A child-resistant lift-off cap for a container is adapted to be difficult to unseat independently to open the container. An overlay portion associated with the cap is adapted for use to lift the cap from a container to unseat it. The overlay portion has a thumb tab and is deformable to engage and lift the seated cap only when the thumb tab is lifted. The overlay portion raises independently of the cap when the deformable portion is not deformed into engagement with the cap. Alternatively, a lift-top cap having a slot through it, the slot having a first opening near an edge of the cap to be lifted to unseat the cap and a second opening. A slide in the slot has a first end biased to be flush with or recessed into the first opening and a second end biased to normally protrude out of the second opening. The second end of the slide can be depressed against the bias of the slide to displace the first end of the slide out of the first opening to function as a thumb tab to assist in lifting the cap from a container.

Abstract: A sift-resistant dispensing closure is disclosed. The sift-resistant dispensing closure includes a base, a lid and a hinge connecting the lid to the base. The base contains a circular end wall, a cylindrical skirt extending downward from the periphery of the end wall, and a sift deck elevated from the upside of the circular end wall. The sift deck contains a deck surface surrounded by a first snap bead and a first sealing surface, and pouring holes formed on the deck surface. The lid contains a second snap bead and a second sealing surface that are formed on the underside of the lid and engage with the first snap bead and first sealing surface, respectively, to form a seal around the sift deck when the lid is in a closed position.
