The thigh-constricting and hip-lifting body-shaping pants include a pants body, wherein the pants body has a second shaping portion on a back side of the pants body and a first shaping portion on a front side of the pants body; the first shaping portion is arranged corresponding to upper thighs and a pubis region and has two inner side edges extending to inner thighs and two outer side edges extending to outer thighs; and the second shaping portion is arranged corresponding to positions below hips, and both ends of the second shaping portion and the corresponding outer side edges of the first shaping portion are connected at the outer thighs, respectively.

The garments include a vest with crossed back bands within the garment that are selectively fastenable to the exterior of the vest to exert tension from the shoulders to the hips. Also included is a cape with shoulder straps and hip straps to apply further tension when attached to the vest or another garment. A shirt includes a central back panel and one or more shoulder straps, the central panel extending to side straps at the hip. Shorts with a spiral strap apply tension from the body core to the leg of the wearer. Shirts and tops for women including for maternity wear include support specific to a woman's body. Some of the shirts, tops, shorts and vests have wearer adjustable straps to vary the tension applied by the straps.

In the motorcycling pant of the invention, a compressive inner layer is integrally affixed to a protective outer layer. In embodiments, the motorcycling pant includes a zipper for securing the outer layer snugly around a leg of the wearer. The integrally affixed compressive layer and zipper mechanism permit a wearer to put on additional protective gear, e.g. knee braces, over the motorcycling pant with less time and effort than previous motorcycling pants require.

The supportive panels of the garment are made of composites of expandable materials giving structural support to the garment such that the wearer's back is stabilized and the belly is supported to prevent drastic pitch, roll or yaw movements during exercise. The expandable materials are designed to yield such that excessive pressure against the belly is not caused as such pressure, found in garments of the prior art, can inflict pain to the musculature and skin surface of the wearer. The expandable materials provide support and allow for the natural growth of the body during pregnancy, providing a desirable combination of a supportive exercise garment that can be used throughout the gestation period.

An adjustable pulley system extends through the waistband tunnel and the first, second and third tunnel seams to adjust the fit of the figure enhancing garment. Alternatively, the first and second seams are simple seams without tunnels.
