COMPUTER DESK
A computer desk includes a desk body, a desktop, and a cover. The desktop defines a first groove and a second groove defined at a bottom of the first groove for receiving a liquid crystal display. The cover detachably covers the first groove.

1. Technical Field
The present disclosure relates to a computer desk.
2. Description of Related Art
Computers are widely used. Therefore, computer desks are necessary to hold these computers. In general, a computer may include a host and a display, such as a liquid crystal display. When the computer is used, the host is positioned under a computer desk, and the display is positioned on top of the computer desk. However, when the computer is not used, the display still occupies space of the desktop of the computer desk. The exposed display may be easily get soiled by dust or even scratched. Therefore there is room for improvement in the art.
Many aspects of the present embodiments can be better understood with reference to the following drawings. The components in the drawings are not necessarily drawn to scale, the emphasis instead being placed upon clearly illustrating the principles of the present embodiments. Moreover, in the drawings, all the views are schematic, and like reference numerals designate corresponding parts throughout the several views.

The desktop 12 of the desk body 10 defines a first groove 14 to receive the cover 30. When the cover 30 is arranged in the first groove 14, the top surface of the cover 30 and the desktop 12 are substantially coplanar. Namely, the thickness of the cover 30 is substantially equal to the depth of the first groove 14.
A bottom of the first groove 14 defines a second groove 16 for receiving the LCD 20. When the LCD 20 is arranged in the second groove 16, the back surface of the LCD 20 and the bottom of the first groove 14 are substantially coplanar. Namely, the thickness of the LCD 20 is substantially equal to the depth of the second groove 16.

Claims
1. A computer desk comprising:
- a desk body;
- a desktop defining a first groove and a second groove defined at a bottom of the first groove for receiving a liquid crystal display (LCD); and
- a cover detachably covering the first groove.
2. The computer desk of claim 1, wherein a thickness of the cover is substantially equal to a depth of the first groove, and a depth of the second groove is substantially equal to a thickness of the LCD.
3. The computer desk of claim 1, wherein a rear side of a bottom of the second groove defines a third groove to receive a bottom side of the LCD, and a through hole is defined in the third groove through which data and power cables of the LCD extend through.
4. The computer desk of claim 3, wherein two fourth grooves are defined in the rear side of the bottom of the second groove and communicate with opposite ends of the third groove, and the fourth grooves rotatably mount opposite ends of the bottom side of the LCD.
5. A computer desk assembly comprising:
- a desk body;
- a desktop defining a first groove and a second groove defined at a bottom of the first groove;
- a cover detachably covering the first groove; and
- a liquid crystal display (LCD) received in the second groove, wherein a bottom side of the LCD is rotatably mounted to a rear side of a bottom of the second groove.
6. The computer desk assembly of claim 5, wherein the thickness of the cover is substantially equal to the depth of the first groove, and the depth of the second groove is substantially equal to the thickness of the LCD.
7. The computer desk assembly of claim 5, wherein the rear side of the bottom of the second groove defines a third groove to receive the bottom side of the LCD, and a through hole is defined in the third groove through which data and power cables of the LCD extend through.
8. The computer desk assembly of claim 7, wherein two fourth grooves are defined in the rear side of the bottom of the second groove and communicate with opposite ends of the third groove, two protrusions extend from opposite ends of the bottom side of the LCD and are located in the corresponding fourth grooves, the protrusions each defines a notch, the LCD comprises two fixing elements each comprising a rotation portion rotatably received in a corresponding notch and a fixing portion connected to the rotation portion, a bottom of each fourth groove defines two fastener holes, each fixing portion defines two through holes, and each fixing portion is fixed in a corresponding fourth groove through two fasteners extending through the through holes and engaging in the fastener holes.
