FAN

A fan includes a main body and a clip. The main body includes a board defining a through hole. The clip includes a base wall and two end walls extending down from opposite ends of the base wall. A pair of claws extends from one of the end walls away from the other end wall. Each claw includes an engaging portion. The engaging portions is operable to be deformed toward each other to pass through the through hole, thereby sandwiching the board with the corresponding end wall.

Description
BACKGROUND

1. Technical Field

The present disclosure relates to a fan.

2. Description of Related Art

In many servers electrical cables are loosely arranged inside the enclosures of the servers in such a way as to obstruct airflow created by fans in the servers. The cables may burn up if coming in contact with electronic components generating a plurality of heat.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

Many aspects of the present embodiments can be better understood with reference to the following drawings. The components in the drawings are not necessarily drawn to scale, the emphasis instead being placed upon clearly illustrating the principles of the present embodiments. Moreover, in the drawings, all the views are schematic, and like reference numerals designate corresponding parts throughout the several views.

FIG. 1 is an isometric, exploded view of an exemplary embodiment of a fan, wherein the fan includes two clips.

FIG. 2 is an isometric, assembled view of FIG. 1, wherein cables are managed by the clips.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

The disclosure, including the accompanying drawings, is illustrated by way of example and not by way of limitation. It should be noted that references to “an” or “one” embodiment in this disclosure are not necessarily to the same embodiment, and such references mean at least one.

FIG. 1 shows an exemplary embodiment of a fan including a main body 10 and two clips 20.

The main body 10 includes a board 11. Two through holes 12 are respectively defined in two lower corners of the board 11.

Each clip 20 includes a base wall 21 and two end walls 22 perpendicularly extending down from opposite ends of the base wall 21. A pair of spaced claws 23 extends from an outer side of one of the end walls 22. Each claw 23 includes a semi-cylindrical protrusion 25 perpendicularly extending from the end wall 22, and a tapered engaging portion 26 formed on a distal end of the protrusion 25 away from the end wall 22. The engaging portion 26 includes an engaging wall 262 perpendicular and connected to the protrusion 25.

FIG. 2 shows that in assembly, the claws 23 are manipulated to align with the corresponding through holes 12. The claws 23 of each clip 20 are deformed toward each other after the engaging portions 26 abut against a sidewall bounding the corresponding through hole 12. The claws 23 are restored after the engaging portions 26 pass through the corresponding through holes 12. The engaging walls 262 abut against an inner side of the board 11. The end walls 22 connected to the claws 23 abut against an outer side of the board 11, to fasten the clips 20 to the main body 10.

Cables 30 beside the fan can be bound by the base wall 21 and the end walls 22, thereby the clips 20 can tidily maintain the cables 30.

It is believed that the present embodiments and their advantages will be understood from the foregoing description, and various changes may be made thereto without departing from the spirit and scope of the description or sacrificing all of their material advantages, the examples hereinbefore described merely being exemplary embodiments.

Claims
