Description

The invention relates to a shoe, in particular to a sports shoe, which has a shoe upper part and a sole which is connected to the shoe upper part, wherein the shoe upper part and the sole are connected to one another by means of a connection element.

Shoes of the generic kind are produced often in such a way that the shoe upper part is connected with the sole by sewing. Alternatively or additively, also glueing connections are known which should guarantee watertightness. The quality of the connection decides essentially if the shoe is usable permanently.

Especially with respect to the watertightness of the shoe also more elaborate solutions became known to establish the connection between the shoe upper part and the sole. Here, it is detrimental that the required expenditures are sometimes significant so that the shoe is respectively expensive in its production.

It is the object of the invention to further develop a shoe of the generic kind so that the connection between the shoe upper part and the sole can be simplified, wherein however a high degree of stability of the connection is guaranteed between the parts. Furthermore, the connection between the shoe upper part and the sole should also be waterproof The connection should be producible in an easy manner with respect to manufacturing so that a cost-efficient production of the shoe becomes possible.

The solution of this object by the invention is characterized in that the connection element is a longitudinally extending, profiled moulded part that has an upper stripe-shaped section and a lower fork-shaped section which has two fork sections, wherein the shoe upper part has a stripe-shaped upper part section in its region that adjoins the sole, which stripe-shaped upper part section is connected to the strip-shaped section of the connecting element, and wherein the sole has a stripe-shaped sole section in its region that adjoins the shoe upper part, which strip-shaped sole section extends between the two fork sections and is connected to at least one of the fork sections.

The fork sections are preferably arranged substantially parallel to another.

The connection between the stripe-shaped upper part section and the upper stripe-shaped section of the connection element is preferably established by a seam.

The connection between the stripe-shaped sole section and at least one of the fork sections is preferably established by a form-fit connection. Thereby, the form-fit connection can comprises at least one nose-shaped projection at the stripe-shaped sole section (or at at least one of the fork sections) and at least one hook section at at least one of the fork sections (or at the stripe-shaped sole section), wherein the nose-shaped projection and the hook section are designed congruent to another. Thereby, it is preferred that a single nose-shaped projection is arranged or provided at the stripe-shaped sole section and a single hook section is arranged or provided at one of the fork section.

The connection between the stripe-shaped sole section and at least one of the fork sections can also be established by a material bonded connection. Thereby, the material bonded connection is preferably a welding connection, especially a laser welding connection.

It is specifically preferred that the connection between the stripe-shaped sole section and at least one of the fork sections is established by a form-fit connection as well as by a material bonded connection.

The connection element is preferably an extruded plastic profile. The plastic material of the connection element is preferably transparent.

The sole can comprise at least one sole part, wherein the shoe upper part comprises at least one cutout which is arranged in the region which is facing the ground, which size and shape corresponds to the sole part in its contact region with the shoe upper part; thereby, the at least one sole part can be inserted into the at least one cutout and can be connected with the shoe upper part by means of the connection element.

The at least one sole part can be designed as a shell-shaped structure; thereby, this is primarily a sole part in the heel region of the shoe.

Thereby, one sole part can be arranged in the rearfoot region and one sole part can be arranged in the forefoot region. The shoe upper part is preferably designed between the two sole parts continuously and seam-less.

As far as the terms “top” and “bottom” respectively are used this refers to the position of the shoe when it is in normal use and is resting on the ground.

The connection element in the form of the plastic profile is thus snapped into a protrusion of the sole element which is to be attached and is then connected with the sole element by means of laser welding. The plastic profile is then sewed at the shoe upper part via a plane web section of the plastic profile.

A simple and cost effective producible composite between the shoe upper part and the sole results which has a high stability and is substantially tight.

In the drawing an embodiment of the invention is depicted. It shows:

FIG. 1 in perspective view a shoe with a shoe upper part and two sole parts which are fixed at the shoe upper part,

FIG. 2 in perspective view the shoe upper part in a view transverse from the bottom, wherein the sole parts are detached,

FIG. 3 in perspective view one of the sole parts of the shoe and

FIG. 4 a cross section through the finished shoe according to the section C-D according to FIG. 1.

In FIGS. 1 to 3 at first a possible embodiment of an example of the basic design of the shoe 1 with a shoe upper part 2 and a sole 3 is depicted. The shoe upper part 2 has two cutouts 15 and 16 in its bottom region, in which the sole parts 3′ and 3″ are inserted and fixed there.

The making of the connection between shoe upper part 2 and sole 3 respectively sole parts 3′, 3″ is apparent in detail from the sectional view according the FIG. 4 in detail. The outer region is marked with A, the inner of the shoe with I.

The shoe upper part 2 is provided with a stripe-shaped upper part section 9 in the region which adjoins to the sole 3. Also the sole 3 comprises a stripe-shaped sole section 10 in the region which is facing the shoe upper part 2 (see FIG. 3). The two stripe-shaped sections 9 and 10 are connected with another by means of a connection element 4 which is an extruded plastic profile and which has the cross sectional shape which is apparent from FIG. 4.

The connection element 4 comprises an upper stripe-shaped section 5 as well as a lower fork-shaped section 6. The fork-shaped section 6 comprises two fork sections 7 and 8 which nm substantially parallel to another and defined a receiving space between them.

The connection between the stripe-shaped upper part section 9 and the upper stripe-shaped section 5 of the connection element 4 occurs by sewing. A seam 11 is depicted which connects the two mentioned parts.

However, the connection between the connection element 4 and the stripe-shaped sole section 10 is established by a combined form-fit and material bonded connection.

For this, the stripe-shaped sole section 10 comprises a nose-shaped projection 12. This is also depicted in FIG. 4. It is directed to the outer side of the shoe, while the stripe-shaped sole section 10 is provided in a straight respectively flat manner at the other side, i. e. at the side which is facing the inner of the shoe.

One of the two fork sections, namely the fork-section 7, is provided with a hook section 13. Hook section 13 and projection 12 are designed congruent to another, i. e. in the state in which the parts are stuck together an arrangement is given as depicted in FIG. 4. The hook section 13 grabs the projection 12 in a form-fit manner and thus holds the sole 3 firmly at the connection element 4.

As certainly this form-fit connection alone is normally not firm enough, an additional material bonded connection is created after sticking together of the parts 3 and 4. This occurs presently by a laser welding of the materials of connection element 4 and sole section 10.

In FIG. 4 a laser head 17 is denoted by which a focussed laser beam is directed onto the location where the desired welding seam 14 should be created. After a short melting of the material of connection element 4 and sole section 10 a firm mechanical bond as well as a waterproof connection result between the parts.

The use of thermoplastic materials for the sole 3 and the connection element 4 allows in a simple manner the material bonding connection.

However, also a glueing connection can be taken into account between the mentioned parts.
