Description
TECHNICAL FIELD

The present invention relates to a low-pressure casting water-cooling mold structure for a wheel.

BACKGROUND ART

Low-pressure casting water-cooling molds are further widely applied to wheel manufacturing enterprises in recent years in order to improve the interior quality of wheel products to meet the product requirements of customers and improve the production efficiency of the wheel products to increase the production capacity of the wheel manufacturing enterprises. However, the water-cooling molds have different cooling modes and structure features from air-cooling molds, and the most difference is the existence of multiple split mold structures for controlling water cooled areas in a casting process, so the manufacturing costs of the water-cooling molds are relatively much higher than those of the air-cooling molds. Furthermore, from a casting technique perspective, the more split units of the mold are, the higher the possibility of parting surfaces to generate corrosion, flashes and aluminum pickup is; and additionally, the continuity of a casting process and the casting quality are influenced.

As the yield of the wheels is increasing and the application of a low-pressure water-cooling casting technique becomes a necessary trend, the enterprises have to face a problem how to effectively and reasonably reduce the manufacturing costs of the water-cooling molds and ensure the stable production of the casting process on the premise of ensuring the smooth implementation of the water-cooling technique during production.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

An object of the present invention is to solve and improve the problem of the prior art, and provide a mold structure capable of reducing manufacturing costs of a water-cording mold, improving the stability of a casting process, and reducing corrosion, flash and aluminum pickup problems.

A technical solution of the present invention is as follows: a central heat-insulation hole structure for an aluminum wheel low-pressure water-cooling casting meld comprises a top mold and a central heat-insulation hole.

A split unit structure including a top mold and central flange loose pieces is changed into a non-split integrated top mold. Besides, a circle of uniformly distributed heat-insulation holes are formed in a circumferential direction of the position of a mold split unit parting surface of the original top mold and the central flange loose pieces. The diameter of each heat-insulation hole is locked as 8 mm, the size of a wheel flange defines the number of the heat-insulation holes and the diameter of a circumference of the heat-insulation holes distributed in the integrated top mold, and in order to ensure the service life and water cooling and heat insulation effects of the mold, the depth of each heat-insulation hole from the surface of a cavity is more than 20 mm.

The central heat-insulation hole structure provided by the present invention has the advantages that water cooled areas can be effectively controlled, the sequential solidification of a casting process is guaranteed, the heat insulation effect of a split mold is achieved, a mold deformation problem of the split mold is avoided, and meanwhile, the corrosion, flash and aluminum pickup problems caused by the existence of the split unit parting surface are also completely avoided. The heat-insulation hole structure provided by the present invention is simple and feasible; and by utilizing a machining mode of perforating the integrated top mold, the manufacturing costs and the manufacturing difficulty of the mold are largely reduced, the machining and manufacturing efficiency of the mold is also improved, and the difficulty of later-stage maintenance of the mold is reduced.
