Fluorescent light fixture

Description

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a fluorescent light fixture embodying our design;

FIG. 2 is a side elevational view showing the far side of the light fixture as viewed in FIG. 1 on an enlarged scale;

FIG. 3 is a bottom plan view of the light fixture as viewed in FIG. 1 on an enlarged scale;

FIG. 4 is an end elevational view showing the far end of the light fixture as viewed in FIG. 1 on an enlarged scale; and

FIG. 5 is a fragmentary view on a greatly enlarged scale of the outside face of the bottom-most panel of the fixture.

The diffuser portion of the light fixture is a transparent material with closely spaced, vertical grooves on the inside faces of the side and end wall panels which are visible on the outside faces and combine with closely spaced, horizontal grooves on the outside faces to form the cross lined pattern indicated on the drawing. The bottommost panel, as viewed in FIG. 1, has a smooth outside face with criss-crossed ribs on the inside face which provide the visible pattern on the outside face which is indicated on the drawing. The grooves and ribs on the interior faces of the diffuser are partially shown through the transparent walls for convenience of illustration.
