FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a safety syringe, showing our new design, with the needle sheath thereon;

FIG. 2 is a side elevational view thereof;

FIG. 3 is a side elevational view thereof, with the shield in the retracted position and the needle sheath removed;

FIG. 4 is a side elevational view thereof, with the shield in the extended position and the needle sheath thereon;

FIG. 5 is a side elevational end view thereof, with the shield in the extended position and the needle sheath removed;

FIG. 6 is an end elevational view thereof, taken from the left of FIG. 2;

FIG. 7 is an end elevational view thereof, taken from the left of FIG. 3; and,

FIG. 8 is an end elevational view thereof, taken from the right of FIG. 2.
