FIG.1 is a left hand perspective view for an escalator including a step chain incorporating the design features of the present invention;

FIG. 2 is a front elevational view thereof;

FIG. 3 is a right side elevational view thereof, the left side is a mirror image;

FIG. 4 is a top plan view of the new design illustrated in FIGS. 1, 2, and 3;

FIG. 5 is a fragmentary left side elevational view of the bottom portion thereof generally along line 5--5 of FIG. 4;

FIG. 6 is a fragmentary perspective view of the lower portion of FIG. 4; and,

FIG. 7 is a top plan view of the portion illustrated in FIGS. 5 and 6.
