Description

FIG. 1 is a front perspective view taken from the top and right side of a component extractor showing our new design;

FIG. 2 is a front elevational view thereof;

FIG. 3 is a rear elevational view thereof;

FIG. 4 is a top plan view thereof;

FIG. 5 is a bottom plan view thereof;

FIG. 6 is a left side elevational view thereof;

FIG. 7 is a right side elevational view thereof;

FIG. 8 is a front perspective view taken from the front and right side of FIG. 1 shown in an alternate position; and,

FIG. 9 is a right side elevational view of FIG. 8.

The component extractor whose design is claimed is suitable for example for extracting nucleic acids, DNA and RNA, from a cell or from the blood of a living organism, contained in a cartridge. With the parts in the position of FIGS. 8 and 9, the specimen is inserted and then the parts are moved to the position of FIGS. 1-7, whereafter extraction is started by inputting from an operation panel.
