Grooves are formed on the underside of the top rectangular member and substantially adjacent to the lateral sides of the top rectangular flat member. The front and rear wall of the wedged from structure extend diagonally downwardly from the underside of the top member and towards the front of the tile. A cooperating gutter member is positioned below the interface of horizontally abutting tiles to collect the water that goes through the interface opening and to discharge it over the vertically abutting roof tile in front.

    Abstract: A pair of angularly related interconnected steel trim elements having a mitre joint therebetween have a continuous layer of plastic material bonded upon one side of the trim elements. A corner connector reinforcement sheet of plastic material is positioned upon the plastic layer, spans the mitre joint and adjacent portions of the trim elements. A layer of adhesive upon one side of the connector sheet is in surface engagement with the plastic layer providing a rigid connection therebetween. The method of making a window frame trim assembly comprises bonding a layer of plastic material upon one side of a metallic strip, rolling its opposed longitudinal edges into transverse C-shape defining an elongated channel, cutting a series of spaced notches transversly of the channel through one edge and across to the other edge, defining a series of interconnected trim elements and successively bending adjacent trim elements into engagement closing the notches to form a series of spaced mitre joints.

The structure includes a self-supporting low to medium density thermal insulation blanket having elongated lines of weakness in the top thereof. The blanket spans the width between a pair of adjacent and parallel roof purlins with one end of the blanket folded up one side of the purlin, folded across the top of the purlin and folded down the opposite side of the purlin, thereby enclosing the top and opposite sides of the purlin. The blanket provides means for receiving a thick blanket of low density thermal insulation inside thereof and between the purlins for increasing the insulation "R" factor of the insulated roof.

    Abstract: An apparatus for folding the top closures of tubular containers of square to rectangular cross section having a bottom into the form of a gabled roof. The top closure comprises first and second pairs of opposed quadrilateral panels, and each of the first panels has fold lines. The apparatus comprises first and second folding members provided at an intermediate portion of a path of transport of the container by a conveyor, between a filling device and a top closure sealing device along the path. The first folding member inwardly folds the first pair of panels between the second pair while the container is being transported by the conveyor, whereupon the second folding member operates to inwardly fold the second pair of panels over the first pair already folded by the first folding member. The top closure is foldable into the gabled form reliably and can therefore be subsequently sealed free of any trouble.

    Abstract: The package to be wrapped is moved during a first step towards a foil section which is extended under tension transversely relative to the direction of movement of the package. During a further course of movement of the package the aforementioned foil section is applied to three sides around the package in a substantially U-shape. Subsequently, a loop is formed from the web-like foil by entraining means which act on the web-like foil. The two runs of the loop are releasably held at their ends by related holding means. These two loop runs of the foil are separated from each other using a cutting knife. The foil section thus produced, which runs along the rear side of the package, has a length which is greater than the height of the package. An end section of this foil section of greater length and which protrudes past the package is now displaced towards and against the underside of the package.

The second segment of the closed path generally extends lateral to the extent of the severing bar as a component in the conveying direction.

A keeper is secured over the open space of each of the U-shaped blocks. A block of wear resistant material is positioned in a recess in each of four interior surfaces of the U-shaped block and keeper, a slidable vertical bar being captured and sliding within the embrace of the U-shaped blocks.

If the catcher bag is removed, the catcher hood may be swung in a vertical hanging position transverse to the outlet end of the discharge conduit permitting a mulching operation of the lawn tractor in which the clippings drop down on the lawn surface.

A guide channel is attached to the housing body and further supports a fastening mechanism for mounting the clamp to the spinning machine.

The timer is preset to the specified time limits required by the turbine engine manufacturer for the helicopter. At the end of the cool-down period, the timer deactivates the caution light on the helicopter instrument panel and indicates to the pilot that the cooling cycle is complete and the turbine engine can be shut down.

    Abstract: A propellant configuration for a solid propellant rocket motor, comprising a generally cylindrical housing containing a generally cylindrical main grain having a central cavity, and an igniter assembly supported in the central cavity and having means therein for bringing about combustion. At the time of actuation of the igniter assembly, hot gases are directed along flutes formed in the interior of the main grain, to cause burning thereof to take place. Advantageously, the propellant utilized in the main grain is the same as utilized in the igniter assembly, with the burn surface area of the igniter grain being in a pre-established relationship to the burn surface area of the fluted main propellant grain, such that the igniter grain will be totally consumed at the time that the flutes of the main propellant are consumed.

A directional control valve is disposed in the closed circuit between the inlet and outlet of the fluid pump so as to selectively direct fluid to either of the pressure chambers to selectively expand or contract the fluid cylinder.
