Abstract: An apple tree variety bearing early maturing fruit easily coloring in warm weather, having a greenish ground color and bright red overcolor with red stripes, and having a coarse flesh which is very juicy, moderately sweet and with low acidity.
Abstract: A new and distinct cultivar of Torenia plant named `Dantopkmn` characterized by its tubular-shaped flower consisting of four petals in which the top petal is white, the two side petals are of a violet color and the bottom petal is light violet with yellow lengthways strips; its ability to grow quickly and flower almost year round; its cascading growth habit; its ability to perform well in partial shade; its recommended growing temperature range of 15-25.degree. C.; and its dense branching which gracefully cascades from hanging baskets.
Abstract: A new miniature pot rose plant which has abundant, non-fading, lavender-pink flowers and attractive foliage. The variety successfully propagates from softwood cuttings and is suitable for year round production in commercial glasshouses. This new and distinct variety has shown to be uniform and stable in the resulting generations from asexual propagation.
Abstract: An asexually reproduced variety of perennial Zoysia japonica with a unique combination of characters including white stigmas, and anthers are 5.0 RP 3/6.
Abstract: A system for displaying garments incorporating a light-weight, one-piece, molded, plastic garment hanger having a hook member, body member, and upswept arms, wherein a garment retaining clip is longitudinally positioned on either side of the hook member at a height such that an axis drawn therebetween would intersect a circle defined around a center of curvature drawn by a radius defined at the upper portion of the curve of the hook member, to provide a high rack to display ratio for garments suspended therefrom.
Abstract: A phase-locked loop design is provide that can operate at a plurality of dissimilar supply voltages. By adjusting the frequency range of a PLL based on the power supply voltage, the same PLL design can operate at different supply voltages.
Abstract: Disclosed is a DRAM including a test mode operation capable of testing whether a plurality of memory cells are defective or not in a short time. The DRAM includes a power-on detection signal generator, a power-on reset signal generator, and a test mode instruction signal generator. The power-on detection signal generator detects application of a power supply voltage and generates a power-on detection signal. The power-on reset signal generator is reset by a power-on reset signal, counts at least once an external RAS signal applied after reset and generates a power-on reset signal. The test mode instruction signal generator detects logic states of an internal RAS signal, an internal CAS signal and an internal W signal applied after the power-on reset and generates a test mode instructing signal.
Abstract: Gusseted plastic bags and methods of making the same in either rolls or stack packs, each bag having at least one plastic promotional strip extending along a side edge of the bag and secured adjacent to top and bottom edges. The promotional strip may be disposed either between the folded bag edges forming the gusset or outside of the gusset, and may or may not be perforated.
Abstract: A photographic camera system includes a photographic camera that can successively expose a photographic film in different frame sizes and an automatic printer for automatically printing the processed photographic film exposed with those different frame sizes. The camera varies the width of an exposure opening in the camera body in the film-feed direction and the film is fed a length corresponding to the width of the exposure opening. The photographic camera magnetically or optically records an exposure opening position signal indicative of the size of the exposure opening on the photographic film, and the automatic printer automatically prints the photographic film using the magnetically or optically recorded exposure opening position signal detected from the photographic film.
Abstract: A decorative multi-colored material and method of making same using rainbow gratings simultaneously evidence different color patterns which change through the color spectrum. The patterns are formed from separate impressions from different portions of a common rainbow grating to provide color differentiation. The multi-colored material may be used for a variety of applications, for example, decorative package wrappings, stickers, product enhancement and the like.
Abstract: A welding hood is provided with a periscopic view piece to provide an elevated effective line of sight for viewing over and around objects during welding operations. The welding hood includes a face mask and a head band or other support which supports and positions the mask on the welder's head. A view piece includes an objective window which is normally tinted or filtered to protect the welder's eyes from brilliant light, a first mirror behind the objective window, and a second, lower mirror oriented to reflect the image passing through the objective window and reflected by the first mirror to the second mirror along the welder's unaided line of sight.
Abstract: An anatomically designed slip-on wrist supporting hand wrap is provided which is able to replace the long cloth hand wrap used in boxing and the martial arts. The hand wrap includes a resilient wrap body having thumb and finger apertures, wrist support straps oppositely extending from the wrap body and wrist support strap fasteners, and a hand fastener removably attachable to the wrap body for adjustment to a desired fit. The hand wrap may include a knuckle pad, finger sleeves and a hand grip for added comfort and support. The user's fingers and thumb are inserted through the thumb and finger apertures, and the wrist support straps are wrapped about the hand and wrist and the fasteners secured resulting in a convenient yet supportive and protective hand wrap which can be used in conjunction with boxing and bag gloves.
Abstract: A disposable chemical cape to be used in the beauty industry to protect the customer and their clothing from any liquid dripping or running of the product being used to perform a chemical service such as a color or perm. The straps of the cape tie around the neck of the customer to hold the cape in place. The cape covers the complete portion of the upper body including the lap area and has shoulder guards which overlap in back to cover the shoulders, arms, and upper back of the customer receiving the service. This ensures the salon customer of complete sanitation in the wearing of each individual cape.
Abstract: A fishing vest and storage system that has great flexibility for the user. The vest has two large that hold containers (or slips). The slips have a number of adjustable sections within them to hold lures, weights, hooks and other gear as desired. The slips have hinged covers for access. The user can load the vest with one or two of these slips for fishing. Once on the water, the user can remove a slip from the pocket and change lures or otherwise make adjustments as desired. Once completed, the slip is closed and returned to the pocket. The vest also has a rod holder loop near the bottom of the vest. A storage container holds the slips when not in use. The container holds the slips and other supplies.
