Abstract: A bucket for a prime mover such as a skid steer loader has a mounting plate on its rear wall that is used for coupling to an attachment bracket on the prime mover or loader. The mounting plate is a unitary plate has a unitarily formed upper channel extending transversely across the bucket at an upper end of the mounting plate, and a unitarily formed second channel extending transversely across the bucket at the mounting plate lower end. The upper channel has a pair of apertures that are of size to receive latch ends of an attachment bracket and have edges that provide for alignment of the mounting plate and the bucket to which it is attached relative to the attachment bracket. The lower channel has apertures to receive vertically moveable wedge lock member on the attachment plate to secure the mounting plate and bucket to the loader.

Interior light sources are arranged to be enclosed within the work station behind a plurality of transferable non-opaque materials and an encasement or mold for which they are designed. The energized light illuminates and enhances non-opaque artist's media upon non-opaque material surfaces. A further object of the work station is the novel method of mounting non-opaque artwork. Grooved fasteners allow the non-opaque materials (2) and non-opaque medium display (3) to be inserted or removed from the work stations base (7) and (4). The two workplaces separate from the holding tray (11) and lock together to form a carry case (20).

Abstract: A decorative device includes a cover secured to a housing for forming a water tight sealed chamber and for receiving a fluid or one or more decorative members. An agitator is rotatably received in the cover for agitating the decorative members or the fluid. A seat is rotatably received in the housing and secured to the agitator, and a cable is secured to the seat for rotating the seat against a spring or the like. One or more light devices or buzzers are attached to the housing, and may be energized alternatively by conductors in the seat and the housing.

A sheet member is wound on a roller and is contained within the internal chamber. The sheet member is to be manually extendable from the housing with advertising indicia that is located on the sheet member to then be capable of being read by a human. During the time of extending of the sheet member, a sound is emitted that is to correspond with the advertising indicia. The advertising display device is to be attached to the front end of a product supporting shelf in a store.

A rigid front cover is positioned in overlying relationship to the back cover for showing product identification information, and a rigid panel is provided having a grip portion and a support portion for holding an information sheet. The panel is between and movable relative to the covers from a retracted position to an extended position. The panel in the retracted position has the support portion underlying and hidden by the front cover and the grip portion projecting outwardly from the front cover for providing access to pull the panel to the extended position. The panel in the extended position has the support portion projecting outwardly from the front cover, whereby the information sheet is hidden by the front cover when the panel is retracted, and the information sheet is exposed when the panel is extended.

A shaft bolt is passed through the engaging member and the driving gear to fixedly connect therewith. The engaging member is operatively leant on an intermittent wheel. Abstract: The underwater battery powered lighted fishing lure includes, in one embodiment, a transparent housing, a battery in a battery cavity and one light emitting device (preferably, an LED). The battery may have a substantially light reflective surface. The transparent housing has light refraction surfaces, may have one or more light modifiers (glitter, bubbles, glass beads). As a result, the fishing lure emits light in all three dimensions (x, y and z) due to light refraction and light reflection (from the battery). Preferably, the lighted fishing lure includes two LEDs and two offset batteries. The lighted fishing lure may further include a pressure sensitive switch. In one embodiment, the lure has at least a two way control (ON-OFF) and in another, a three way control (ON-OFF- and ON when the ambient pressure exceeds a predetermined pressure underwater).

Abstract: A live bait container for earthworms and the like includes a cylindrical housing with open ends, a cover for each end and aeration provisions in the central portion of the housing between the two ends. The configuration permits the bedding to fall to the bottom and the bait will generally seek the cool and moist bedding at the very bottom. To extract bait the container is inverted and the upper cover removed. The bedding has fallen to the bottom of the container and the earthworms are exposed at the top of the bedding in a very convenient and facile manner.

Abstract: A leg hold trap for trapping an animal including a base pivotally mounting a pair of clamping jaws, and a pair of springs for moving the clamping jaws between open, spaced apart, set positions and closed leg clamping positions clamping the leg of an animal there-between. A pair of launch arms are mounted on each of the springs for reacting with the underlying terrain and upwardly launching the base and the clamping jaws as the clamping jaws are moving between the open and closed positions. The pairs of launching arms are swingably moveable about first and second spaced apart axes. The launch arms each include launching rods of a predetermined breadth and a launching pad of substantially increased breadth having a terminal end disposed between the axes.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method and apparatus for generating the mosquito bait as well as stimulating the human body's surface temperature and emanated odor. A well-controlled heating assembly can be used to generate a suitable thermal gradient for simulating body temperature and evaporating the bait. The bait comprises at least the bacterial fermentation product. The bait is not poisonous to human beings and contains mosquito attractants made from natural products of fermentation or decomposition. The apparatus according to this invention comprises at least an upper compartment for trapping mosquitoes and a bottom compartment including the bait and the beating assembly. This invention can also combine with electrocution grids or insecticide webs to destroy attracted mosquitoes.

Abstract: A wick-based liquid emanation system, and wicks for use therewith, are disclosed. There is a liquid containing bottle having an opening for receiving a wick. The wick is partially disposed within the container and extends through an opening of the container. The wick includes an upper cavity that can collect liquid to provide an initial burst of active when the wick is first heated. The wick is preferably sheathed along a portion of its sides.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a liquid synfuel additive composition which is used as an additive to coal fines to enhance the complete combustion of the coal after turning it into a synthetic fuel. The composition is a chemical change agent in that it converts the coal/composition mix into a different material which, when burned, results in lower noxious emissions. The composition includes a wax, a base for ph adjustment and water.

Abstract: A method of determining the weight of animals and the development of plants in a controlled environment. The method comprises measuring the increase in CO2 production over a test period. CO2 production is a measure of the metabolic rate and this is related to weight of animals and development of crops which can often be determined by weight. There is illustrated a poultry rearing house (1) having vents (3), lights (6) and an air heater (9). CO2 sensors (15) are connected to a CO2 controller (17) and in turn to a central controller (5). To test the increase in CO2 production over time, the birds are settled into a passive state with no feed and the lights (6) turned off. The level of CO2 produced is measured. The vents (3) are closed. After a time, the rate of CO2 produced is measured and the increase calculated.

The holder can have a water-tight bottom portion for holding water supplied to the flowers while in the holder. A coating is applied to the smooth surface of the printing element to provide a coated surface, the coated surface is embossed or engraved to provide the holographic image, and the holographic image is then transferred to a substrate via a bonding material, thereby producing the sheet of holographic material. The sheet of holographic material may be used to provide a decorative cover for an object or item, such as a floral grouping or a potted plant.

Abstract: There is provided is a process for preparation of synthesis gas, i.e. mixtures containing dihydrogen and oxides of carbon, from feedstocks containing methane and/or higher hydrocarbons having from about 2 to about 12 carbon atoms by an initial catalytic treatment of feedstock to provide a methane-containing gaseous mixture substantially free of compounds having 2 or more carbon atoms, and reforming the gaseous mixture at elevated temperatures using nickel-containing catalytic materials that are unusually active under mild conditions of conversion and resistant to deactivation. The process consists fundamentally in converting the higher hydrocarbon compounds to form a methane-containing gaseous mixture substantially free of compounds having 2 or more carbon atoms in an initial conversion zone containing a catalyst while controlling temperatures within the initial conversion zone to temperatures in a range of temperature downward from about 500° C. to about 300° C.

Abstract: A method for producing clean energy from coal by feeding the coal in a reactor which is sealed to the atmosphere and moving the coal in the reactor while injecting oxygen to combust a portion of the coal in a substoichiometric mode to devolatilize the coal and yield a pressurized hydrogen rich raw gas which contains coal-derived cancer causing distillates and hydrocarbons together with a hot char. The distillates and the hydrocarbons are cracked to result in a cracked gas of essentially 2H2 and 1CO which after desulfurization becomes an ideal synthesis gas that can be synthesized to a liquid fuel for heating and transportation as an alternate to petroleum.

Abstract: A manual release mechanism of a power actuated sliding door used typically for van applications, includes a bullet assembly interconnected between the ends of a pull member, or cable, of a powered pulley system. The bullet assembly engages and disengages within a passage of a hinge roller assembly which rides within a track of the vehicle. When disengaged, the door is free to slide without causing movement of the bullet assembly or powered pulley system. When engaged, the hinge roller assembly supports a pin which projects into the passage when in a rest position. If the bullet assembly is in the passage, the pin also projects into a groove of the bullet assembly, thereby, locking the bullet assembly within the passage and causing the hinge rolling assembly, which is pivotally connected to the door to move via operation of the powered pulley system.

A frame has border side members, a center member, and a top member secured to the outside to the panels exposes portions of the front walls of the panels. Abstract: A framed gate that is pivotally mounted at one of it's lower corners to a specially designed fence or base post securely positioned in the ground. The pivotal mounting of the gate allows one end of the gate to swinging up and out of the way thereby effectively opening a gap and allowing passage from one side of the fence line to the other. A primary post is provided outside of the inner fence post in relation to the gate. This post contains the necessary components for the lifting of the invention and may be either a manual winch device or a powered winch type device. Further, this device may be equipped with a remote control mechanism for remote operation of the gate. On the opposite side of the gate from the inner post is located the outer post which contains a catch mechanism to engage a locking mechanism on the gate to securely lock and hold the gate in a closed position.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a door opening/closing device installed in a door of a building to be opened/closed about a hinge fixed at one side of the door. The opening/closing device controls the door to be manually opened and closed with an automatic returning device. When the door is opened by a rotating power adjusting device of the door, an oil pusher-plate in a rotary member pushes oil in an oil reservoir so that rotation speed of oil is adjusted by the pressure of oil passing through an oil passage hole, the end of the oil pusher plate and the inside wall of the oil reservoir. The door is opened in a joggling manner but slowly closed as rotating speed of the door gradually decreases, thereby solving problems such as injury occurring at the time of closing the door. A door fixing unit securely fixes the door when the door is closed or opened so as to prevent a gap between the door and a door frame when the door is closed and securely fix the door without movement when the door is opened.

The axial operator comprises a rotatable operator output member that rotates about an operator axis, the operator output member being constructed and arranged to be operatively connected within the door assembly such that the operator output axis extends generally vertically. The motor is constructed and arranged to selectively rotate the motor output member about the operator axis. A reduction transmission is connected between the motor output member and the operator output member. The reduction transmission is constructed and arranged such that the transmission rotates the operator output member at a lower rotational speed than a rotational speed at which the motor rotates the motor output member and applies a higher torque to the operator output member than a torque which the motor applies to the motor output member.

Abstract: A door support system and method are provided for manufacturers and distributors of pre-hung door assemblies as used in homes and other buildings. The door support system includes a molded, polymeric corner member, retainer which fits within the latch throat of the door and a door rest which is positioned on the edge of the door, between the threshold and the door bottom. With the door support system installed, the pre-hung door assembly can easily be transported and installed without damage or injury, even with rough handling.

Abstract: The retention of metal-coated superabrasive particles in a resin bond matrix is improved by incorporating a silane coupling agent into a mixture of metal-coated superabrasive particles and resin bond matrix. The silane can incorporated by providing a metal-coated superabrasive particle treated with a silane coupling agent for adding to the resin bond matrix. Alternatively, the silane can reacted into the resin bond matrix and then the metal-coated superabrasive particles added. Both diamond and cubic boron nitride are useful in the invention.

Abstract: An aqueous metal oxide sol slurry has been developed for removal of low dielectric constant materials. The slurry is formed directly in solution utilizing non-dehydrated chemically active metal oxide sols which are formed in a colloidal suspension or dispersion. The oxide sols have not undergone any subsequent drying and the particles are believed to be substantially spherical in structure, dimensionally stable and do not change shape over time. The sol particles are mechanically soft and heavily hydrated which reduces surface damage even in the case where soft polymer or porous dielectric films are polished. The sol particles are formed of a chemically active metal oxide material, or combinations thereof, or can be coated on chemically inactive oxide material such as silicon dioxide or can be coformed therewith. The oxide sols can include a bi-modal particle distribution. The slurry can be utilized in CMP processes, with or without conditioning.

Abstract: A method is provided for installing a ventilated eaves closure and tile support apparatus along the eaves of a roof. A vented eaves closure apparatus is disposed along the eaves to support the first course of roof tiles at a desired pitch. The apparatus provides support, ventilation, and drainage, while also providing a barrier to wind-driven precipitation, bird nesting, and animal invasion. The apparatus includes an array of openings configured to allow drainage and facilitate the flow of air beneath the tiles and throughout the air space between the roof deck and the tiles. The method and apparatus can be adapted to fit a variety of roof types and roof tiles having different sizes, shapes, and profiles.

Abstract: The method for building an underground composite retaining wall comprises determining a position where a temporary retaining wall is installed in consideration of the outside line of the underground of a building, forming holes by means of a construction equipment such as an auger drill to drive in an H-section steel pile in each of the holes, and installing an earth plate between the H-section steel piles, thereby completing the installation of the temporary retaining wall; excavating a site in the interior of the temporary retaining wall; if the site excavation is completed, installing a fixing shear connecting means on the H-section steel pile; arranging reinforcing bars on an underground retaining wall; and installing a frame in the interior of the underground retaining wall, casting concrete in the frame and curing the concrete, thereby completing the formation of the underground retaining wall.

One unit made of the adjacent upper and lower floors is constructed in a sequentially repeated manner to make dwelling-unit spaces different in ceiling height between the adjacent upper and lower floors.
