Abstract: A pneumatic tire and an innerliner for use in a pneumatic tire are provided by the invention. The innerliner comprises a multilayer structure including a barrier layer and an adhesive layer. The barrier is a blend of high chlorine content chlorinated polyethylene elastomer and low chlorine-content chlorinated polyethylene elastomer. The adhesive can include a nitrile rubber composition or an ultra high molecular weight elastomer.

Abstract: A communications system includes a base station operable to communicate with a terminal unit over a wireless interface and a packet network coupled to the base station and operable to communicate with the base station. The communications system also includes a network management system coupled to the packet network. The network management system is operable to generate a management message to manage the base station. The network management system is also operable to transparently communicate the management message to the base station and to transparently receive a response to the management message from the base station.
Abstract: A defect propagation resistant stretch film comprising a polymer of linear low density polyethylene and one or more copolymers selected from the group consisting of low density polyethylene, very low density polyethylene, and ultra low density polyethylene.
Abstract: Fertile transgenic Zea mays (corn) plants which stably express recombinant DNA which is heritable are provided wherein said DNA preferably comprises a recombinant gene which encodes a seed storage protein, so that the amino acid profile of the corn is improved.
