The nip is formed by first and second opposed facing nip forming surfaces mounted beneath, and aligned with, the reservoir wherein the first nip forming surface is a radially-outer surface of a soft resilient roller. The roller is rotatable by a roller drive in a first rotational direction so as to draw down through the nip, by frictional engagement of the seeds in the nip with the surface of the resilient roller, seeds falling into the nip. The nip is an elongate, curved, thin wedge-shaped nip providing an increased dwell time for seeds being compressed in the nip.

The actuator, upon actuation, opens a membrane between tanks, each holding one of a pair of gas producing chemicals. The gas producing chemicals, preferably bicarbonate of soda and vinegar, mix together to produce carbon dioxide. The carbon dioxide fills a plurality of balloons, thereby providing buoyancy to the vessel to which the balloons are attached.

    Abstract: A rear grip structure for a small boat capable of discharging water which has entered the boat from between the hull side and the seat. The rear grip structure for a small boat has a structure in which an outer frame is formed into a hollow structure and is inclined upward. The outer frame 31 formed with the first eyelets at the lower portions on the left and the right and with the second eyelets at the portions higher than the first eyelets. This enables the outer frame to play the role of a drain trough, such that when water collects in the rear grip structure, it is taken into the hollow outer frame through the second eyelets. Thereafter, the water in the hollow frame flows down the incline of the hollow frame and is discharged through the first eyelets. The rear grip structure is mounted on the upper hull with a plurality of mounting bolts.

The helm has a high pressure port being coupled to a fluid pressure source, a return port coupled to a reservoir, and a metering port coupled to a second chamber of the steering cylinder. A control valve assembly in the helm is switchable between at least first and second states to alternatively couple a metering element in the helm to the high pressure and return ports of the helm, respectively, hence alternatively permitting pressurized fluid to flow into the metering port from the metering element to steer the watercraft in a first direction and from the metering port into the metering element to steer the watercraft in a second direction. The system is simple, compact, reliable, and still usable in watercraft having multiple engines and/or multiple helms.

Retaining means is removably coupled to the aerodynamic lifting surface near the aperture to prevent the aerodynamic wind riding antenna ornament from sliding off the top of the antenna. The retaining means can comprise a snap-on clip, spring-like clip, or a portion of an ornamental figure removably coupled to the main body. Optional stopper clamps can be removably coupled to the antenna to restrict where the device travels on the antenna. The device can have optically perceived indicia to increase the appearance.

    Abstract: A bird feeder which includes a cylindrically shaped outer shell. The shell is free to move about a structure having first and second generally drum-like faces. The first drum-like face defines a feeding trough and access to a storage chamber. Attached to the second drum-like face is means for mounting the feeder so that both faces are disposed generally vertically. Whereas birds can feed while resting on perches which protrude outwardly from the first drum-like face, non-flying predatory animals such as squirrels must approach the feeder along its outer periphery, traversing the shell in the process. As the predator tries to climb onto the feeder, the outer shell spins; and the animal loses both its footing and any chance of using the feeder. The storage chamber can be easily filled without removing the bird feeder from its mounting. A funnel connects the storage chamber with the feeding trough to insure a smooth flow of bird feed from the chamber to the trough.
