Abstract: A heat radiating structure is formed from at least two sequentially connected U-sectioned fins, each of which includes a middle portion and two vertically bent sidewall portions. The middle portion is provided along two longitudinal edges with insertion holes, and the sidewall portions are correspondingly provided along outer edges with forward projected locking means. A distance by which the locking means projects from the sidewall portion is small or equal to a distance between the insertion hole and the locking means. The U-sectioned fins oriented in the same direction can be quickly connected one by one to form the heat radiating structure by inserting the locking means on a preceding U-sectioned fin into the insertion holes on a following U-sectioned fin. The connected U-sectioned fins are attached to a working heat source by means of a thermal conductive material to quickly locate the heat radiating structure in place.

Abstract: A vehicle air conditioning system secures an appropriate temperature difference in the air blown through vertically arranged air ducts when the system is in a bi-level mode. A hot air inlet is disposed above a cool air inlet. A face opening is disposed at an upper location while foot openings are disposed at a lower location. A blow mode-changing door for opening and closing both the openings is a butterfly type door. The blow mode-changing door is pivotally disposed in a door housing. The communicating area ratio(s) between an inlet-side opening of the rotary door and the cooled air passage, the heated air passage, or both the cooled and heated air passages can change by rotating the rotary door, so that the rotary door serves as an air-mix door. In addition, the communicating area ratio(s) between an outlet-side opening and the face opening, the foot opening, or both the face and foot openings can change, so that the rotary door serves as a mode switching door. Abstract: The present invention relates to methods and arrangements for utilising the energy of water that flows out from a high-pressure reservoir. Water and hydrocarbons are separated in a down-hole separator (3) and are brought separately to the seabed. In a first aspect the energy of the water is utilised to inject the water into an underground formation (28) with a lower pressure. In a second aspect the energy is utilised to drive a turbine which in turn is driving a pump (32) for pressurising hydrocarbons. As a part of the invention a method and an arrangement to control the separator (3) by control valves (7, 8) on the well head (6) for each phase is provided. Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for isolating a wellbore condition such as formation pressure during a wellbore operation. The invention has particular application in connection with underbalanced drilling. In one arrangement, a formation isolation apparatus is provided that serves as a selectively actuatable plug. The plug in one aspect is selectively set and released by a setting/releasing tool. The setting/releasing tool includes a system for setting the plug in the wellbore, and a system for releasing the plug from the wellbore. The setting/releasing tool is releasably connected to the plug. Thus, after the plug has been set, the setting/releasing tool may be removed from the wellbore. The plug includes a flapper valve that is restrained in its open position by the setting/releasing tool. Removal of the setting/releasing tool from the wellbore allows the flapper valve to close, thereby isolating pressures in the wellbore below the flapper valve. The plug is wireline retrievable.

The first tubular member has at least one circumferential ring profile, and the second tubular member has a corresponding number of matching circumferential ring profiles. When the ring profiles of the two tubulars are mated and interlocked, they form separate and independent fluid seals as well as a mechanical lock able to hold the tubulars together during future expansion of the entire tubular and joint. Further, selecting properties of the tubulars such as yield strength and modulus of elasticity or constraining a diameter of one of the tubulars during expansion or compression forms a tight connection due to elastic recovery of the tubulars.

When the frame extension is in its locked down position, it bears against a limit stop that precludes further movement in an unfolding direction. An operating link that is pushed and pulled by a hydraulic cylinder to manipulate the frame extension is controlled in such a way by a guide member that the line of action of the link is directed transversely toward a guide surface of the guide when the frame extension is in its unfolded position. Thus, only a small amount of force is required from the hydraulic cylinder at that time to maintain the link in its locked position, since most of the load from the link is born by the guide surface at this time. Abstract: A composite superconducting tape including a multiplicity of constituent superconducting tapes stacked parallel to one another with major faces in contact, and at least some of constituent tapes have widths not greater than half the width of the composite superconductor and are laid edge to edge with each other. All constituent superconducting tapes may have a width that is substantially half, or another simple fraction, of the width of the composite tape so that they form two or more substacks with aligned zones between them which contain no superconducting material. A full-width tape of silver or silver alloy to bridge from tape to tape provides sufficiently strong mechanical connection between substacks. The composite superconducting tape has substantially improved critical current compared with a stack of the same overall dimensions and composition with all full-width superconducting tapes, due to magnetic de-coupling between the substacks.
