Abstract: Systems, methods and devices related to program viewing guides for multimedia presentation such as television programs. A centralized server gathers data related to end user viewing preferences by polling end user devices on what multimedia presentation is currently being accessed. This data is then processed and collated by the centralized server such that each multimedia presentation currently available to the end user devices is given a rating based on its popularity with the end users. The data can then be accessed by each end user device by requesting such multimedia presentation specific data from the server. Once the server has send this data, it can then be presented to the end user by way of a user interface that not only gives the relevant data regarding the multimedia presentation such as its rating and where it is being broadcast, but also provides the end user with a view of the multimedia presentation as currently being shown.

Abstract: A network client aggregates media items available in a media system. The network consists of a plurality of nodes, including at least two media server nodes. A client node generates an internal request to obtain a list of media items available in the media system. In response, the client node generates a request for a list of media items from each individual media server node on the network. Each media server node sends their list of media items to the client node. The client node aggregates the lists of media items from each of the media server nodes. Thus, a list of media items available on the media system is aggregated to a requesting client node in the media system.

Per IGMP join stimulus, a Setup message is sent from the leaf to an end point, or Root, to request to join a known multi-point connection. Routing information is inserted into the Setup message for routing to the leaf. The Root end point originates a point to multi-point call to the leaf using the routing information inserted into the Setup message. The Setup message is rejected by the endpoint.

Transgene (tg) expressing embryos are here produced following coinjection of unfertilized mouse oocytes with sperm heads and exogenous DNA encoding either a green fluorescent protein (GFP) or &bgr;-galactosidase reporter. The microinjected oocyte may be allowed to develop into differentiated cells or stem cells; into an embryo in vitro prior to transfer into a host surrogate mother, or it may be transferred directly into a host surrogate mother. Abstract: The present invention provides immunocontraceptive vaccines comprising a genetically engineered plant that has been modified to produce the sperm-specific protein lactate dehydrogenase-C (LDH-C). When animals such as rodents eat this plant, their immune systems produce antibodies that attack their sperms. Not only would the males have less viable sperm, the females would also have antibodies to sperm entering their reproductive systems. Immunocontraception is an attractive method for reducing the population size of animals with high fecundity, and sterilizing animals using such immunocontraceptives can reduce targeted animal populations to acceptable levels in an efficient, cost-effective, humane and, importantly, a species-specific manner.

Abstract: An inbred corn line, designated 6803, is disclosed. The invention relates to the seeds of inbred corn line 6803, to the plants of inbred corn line 6803 and to methods for producing a corn plant, either inbred or hybrid, by crossing the inbred line 6803 with itself or another corn line. The invention further relates to methods for producing a corn plant containing in its genetic material one or more transgenes and to the transgenic plants produced by that method and to methods for producing other inbred corn lines derived from the inbred 6803.
