Abstract: Protective clothing comprises at least one protective material including an array of one or more superposed layers of woven fabric, wherein each fabric layer is flexible and includes at least one fabric, made of yarns having a strength of at least 900 MPa, that is joined to at least one polymer film, and wherein the protective material has an outer surface facing the side of attack and an inner surface facing away from the side of attack, wherein the protective material also has at least one layer of felt, placed in every case on one of the fabric layers.

Abstract: A temperature conditioning apparatus for the human body includes a vest or other clothing unitary with a thermoelectric or Stirling cycle heat pump worn by the user. The unit is powered by a battery source worn on the user's belt or other part of his or her body, or by an externally-mounted electrical energy source, for example, in a vehicle. The vest has front and rear panels with an air flow layer and permeable inside layer that accept and release conditioned air to the user. The vest may be used with body armor or other protective layers, that is, the vest may be worn underneath body armor or body armor may be built into the vest, or the vest may be used without body armor to cool the user in an exceptionally hot environment such as a non-air conditioned space in hot weather.

This fastener strap has two end portions which are adapted to extend through the head-wear and be attached with each other. Abstract: This protective hand guard utilizes a gelatinous cushion to provide protection and shock absorption for the anatomical structures of the human hand. The hand guard aids in protecting and preserving the hand both externally from cuts and abrasions, and internally from fractures, damage to joints, ligaments, tendons, cartilage, and other anatomical structures found in the human hand. The protection provided by the hand guard is such as to provide a medium for shock absorption, particularly during direct contact or impact sports and or occupations.

Abstract: This invention is a cushioned torso covering for an adult/parent/babysitter to wear while rocking, burping, feeding, and holding an infant. It is filled/padded and is fastened around the back of the neck, can be tightened around the waist for the right fit, and covers the entire front torso and front/back of shoulders. The entire front of the covering is filled/padded (pillow like qualities) to provide comfort and protection for both the infant and the adult. The infant is protected from zippers, snaps, buttons, jewelry, collar bones, dirty clothing and is comforted by the feel of the padding. The adult wearing this product is further protected from spit up and is more comfortable while holding the infant.

The air impermeable lining sheet includes peripheral edges, which is attached to peripheral edges of the air permeable panel. The air impervious lining sheet defines an opening, and a cover sheet is provided and shaped to cover the opening. The cover sheet has peripheral edges attached to peripheral portions of the opening by a selectively operable closure assembly, which extends along the peripheral portions of the opening and the peripheral edges of the cover sheet. The air permeable front panel is preferably made of a unitary sheet of a perforated leather, which is substantially non-stretchable, and no cuts or stitches on the panel, so that graphics, such as advertisement, can be painted on or attached to the panel at any locus on the panel as desired, and the panel can still provide ventilation to a wearer.

Abstract: The current invention teaches a novel, simple, and cost effective preventative solution to the irritating outcome experienced when the friction of the inner thighs rubbing together results in a condition commonly known as chafing. This condition is commonly experienced by athletes, obese people, and people with specific physiological conditions. While there are preventative measures to hinder chafing on the market, none address the issue with a simple, cost effective, and comfortable solution. The current invention is a panel embodied by two-plies of a lightweight, highly breathable, stretchable fabric with a slick surface sewn only on the periphery to create a seamless gusset throughout the crotch of a garment such as a short that creates a near friction free environment and keeps the skin dry thus preventing chafing.

The clasp body is substantially cylindrical and has, emerging from it perpendicularly, two or more studs which pass through a corresponding number of holes formed on the top end of the strip. The studs project from the holes so as to penetrate into a corresponding number of openings formed on a clip-like sleeve which is open on one side and shaped so as to contain in a complementary manner the clasp supporting thereon the top end of the strip.

Abstract: A vibration dissipating sports glove for use in holding a bat while hitting a baseball having an energy-absorbing front pad between the index finger and the thumb. The glove also has a back padding covering the metacarpal portion of the hand and may furthermore have knuckle padding for covering the middle knuckle of each of the fingers. By using padding in a discriminate fashion, only in areas of the hand most vulnerable to impact and vibration, the glove maintains adequate flexibility and feel while, at the same time, protects the batter from bat-induced vibration and, furthermore, from pitched balls which may hit the batter's hand. Abstract: An air-flow control valve device for a helmet is disclosed. The valve device provides the effect of a warm during the winter and cold effect during the summer. The device is adjustable in accordance with the temperature change so as to provide air-flow and maintain warm. During the summer, the moveable valve gate is pushed forward, and the air within the helmet flows out of the helmet via the gap between the valve gate and the rain-blocking plate. During the winter, the valve gate is pushed backward to seal with the rain-blocking plate to effect the blocking of the heat to release from the helmet. Further, a warmth-keeping member is provided at the frame edge of the helmet to prohibit cold air to enter so as to fully prohibit cold air to enter the head portion and to maintain the warm air from releasing.

The multi-purpose head covering includes a hat capable of covering at least a portion of a wearer's head and a mask capable of covering at least a portion of a wearer's face. The mask has a central body and two extensions on either side of the central body. Each of the two extensions comprises a mask attachment member for attachment to the hat. The mask also includes a number of releasable fasteners, such as snaps, such that when the releasable fasteners are engaged to one another, the size of the mask changes.

The clip device is mounted to the first end such that, when the guide base moves along the fixed path between the first position and the second position, the tether and the clip device move between a retracted condition, positioning the tether substantially along the fixed path, and an extended condition, positioning the tether at an exterior of the cap portion to enable the clip device to be mounted to the user's clothing.

The headband is made of fabric or knitted textile as a covering portion with a mesh lining tape inserted on the inside thereof. The covering portion and liner are sewn together, preferably with stretch yarn, in a chain-like pattern to provide excellent expandability without the need for a separate size controller. The mesh lining tape improves the ventilation provided through the headband, while also serving to retain the overall uniform shape of the crown portion of the cap when the cap is removed.

Having no polyurethane, the headband is woven to single ply or two-ply without an additional stitched portion, and exhibits good elasticity as a whole through the napped, felt-like structure of the textile.
