Abstract: The invention relates to a method for fabricating a heat-dissipating tube by use of heating process for air expulsion. The method includes the steps of: weighing the empty tube; feeding a little more pure water than the working amount into the tube; compressing an water inlet to form a semicircular member in a not completely closed state; heating the tube for changing the pure water into vapor for air expulsion; compressing the semicircular member in a fully sealed state; keeping the tube warm and maintaining the tube pressure; spot-welding the top of the semicircular member with a sealing layer; weighing the finished product; and determining the weight difference for finding the actual input amount of water after the process of air expulsion by heating and for judging if the tube is a conforming or a nonconforming item.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a method of manufacturing a three piece aluminum wheel assembly comprising the steps of providing a pair of circular blanks made of a heat treatable alloy to be formed into preforms of a general shape. The preforms are subjected to a quenching step in an unconstrained condition to allow for natural thermal deformation during the quenching operation. The as quenched preforms are then subjected to a first forming operation using spin forming to remove the effects of the thermal deformation in the preform, followed by a second forming step using spin forming to shape the component to its desired final shape. The components are then exposed to precipitation heating and finishing to yield the final product.

Abstract: A backhoe control pattern selection arrangement is provided for a backhoe controlled by two control levers. The two levers are operatively connected to hydraulic systems that operate the boom and crowd hydraulic cylinders. An electrically operated valve block is electrically connected to a source of power and to a control switch, and hydraulically connected to the hydraulic systems. Changing the state of the control switch actuates the valve block and modifies the hydraulic systems to reverse the correspondence between the control levers and the boom and crowd functions.

Abstract: A working machine has an engine, a working part driven by motive power from the engine, and a control part for controlling the engine. When operation of the working part has been stopped for a pause in work and the engine is idling, the control part performs control so that the engine automatically stops when a number of conditions are satisfied.

Abstract: A management computer receives designation of an identifier formed by symbols recorded in a symbolic data storing section and designation of an identifier arranging area of a symbol arranging area from a user terminal. Then, the management computer arranges the identifier in the identifier arranging area of the symbol arranging area. After that, the management computer extracts symbols, which belong to the same category where the symbols that form the identifier belong, from the symbolic data storing section, and arranges the extracted symbols in a portion excepting the identifier arranging area of the symbol arranging area, thereby generating data of the identification marker. Then, the management computer outputs data for printing the identification marker to an output device. In response to this, the output device prints the identification marker.

Abstract: The present invention produces a combustion simulation of flames, burning logs and embers in a fuel-burning fireplace or like device. One or more light source(s), such as LEDs, are used to transmit light to and through: a flame cut-out panel or flame cut-out mask to simulate the flame effect; cut-outs in logs to simulate a burning edge of a log; elements or refractories that refract the light to simulate real burning embers. Fiber optic cables, or any other material that facilitates the transmission of light, may be used to assist in transmitting the visible light. A motor driven rotating disk that includes apertures may be used to fragment the transmission of the visible light. In addition, the light source may be controlled by a sequencing device to closely approximate the pulsing intensities of light seen in actual flames, the edges of burning logs, and ember beds.

Abstract: A flame simulating assembly for providing an image of flames. The flame simulating assembly has a simulated fuel bed, a light source, and a screen with a front surface disposed behind the simulated fuel bed for transmitting light from the light source through the front surface so that the image of flames is transmitted through the front surface. Also, the flame simulating assembly includes a dynamic reflector disposed in front of the simulated fuel bed and including a plurality of reflective surfaces and an axis about which the reflective surfaces rotate. The dynamic reflector is positioned in a path of light from the light source to the simulated fuel bed, for reflecting light from the light source to the simulated fuel bed.
