Abstract: A clothes drier has lifting device that can be fastened to a ceiling and that can be operated in stepwise fashion. The lifting device supports a drier frame carrying the clothes line. The lifting device is received in a downwardly open profiled box, which can be fastened to the ceiling, and acts on the central longitudinal support of the drier frame, which can be folded together to form a long bar and in the folded-together state can be received in the profiled box. The frame has part-frames arranged on both sides of its longitudinal support, which can be folded together toward the longitudinal support and in the process in each case enclose the clothes line carried by them.

Abstract: A pasta dryer comprising a conveyer belt for conveying and delivering dried pasta, the conveyor belt being configured as a continuous conveyor. To operate more efficiently, the conveyor belt has a delivery table in the vicinity of an idler, the table comprising an attached fixed or sliding product collection tray. The reinforcement elements of the conveyor belt are preferably S-shaped.

Abstract: In a dry air blowing plate, rows of dry air outlets are arranged at given intervals in a transport direction of a photosensitive material. The interval between the dry air outlets within the row is narrower in a front zone of the dry air blowing plate that is close to a dry air inlet, whereas the interval is wider in a rear zone of the dry air blowing plate that is away from the dry air inlet. In the front zone, the velocity of dry air is lower but the aperture rate per unit area is larger. On the other hand, in the rear zone, the velocity of dry air is higher but the aperture rate is smaller. As a result, the volume of blown dry air is almost the same throughout an external surface of the dry air blowing plate, so the dry air is evenly blown to a surface of a photosensitive material.

The present invention involves an orthopedic device for redistribution of pressure exerted on a limb of a patient. The device comprises a pressure-absorbing member and a breakable container disposed in the pressure absorbing member. The pressure absorbing member is contoured to cooperate with the shape of the limb. The pressure absorbing member has a pressure receiving cavity formed therein. The breakable container is disposed in the pressure receiving cavity and includes a reactant molding material. The breakable container has a predetermined elastic threshold to allow the breakable container to break at a high pressure area and to allow the reactant molding material to disperse from the high pressure area upon pressure exertion on the breakable container by the limb.

Abstract: Foot enclosing footwear having the wearing experience and comfort of sandals are comprised of a sole and an upper each having a front portion extending from approximately the ball of the foot forward to the toes of the foot and a back portion extending from approximately the ball of the foot rearward to the heel of the foot. The front portion of the upper is affixed to the front portion of the sole and encompasses the front portion of the foot. The back portion of the upper encompasses the back portion of the foot and is not affixed to the sole. Rather, the back portion of the upper is free of the sole and free to move in an arc relative to the sole. Consequently, the upper is free to flex without requiring the sole to flex, thereby providing the walking sensation of a sandal while fully enclosing the foot. The footwear may be of substantially any style or appearance from dress shoes to boots.

The snow plow hitch mounting mechanism has four points of attachment between a snow plow-mounted hitching apparatus and a hitch frame mounted at the front of a truck, two points of attachment being at each side. The lower points of attachment are made by initially engaging the snow plow-mounted hitching apparatus with the hitch frame, with the upper points of attachment being engaged by using a releasable retaining mechanism.

Abstract: The invention relates to a loader/excavator-type heavy-construction machine comprising a hydraulic system which powers one or more hydraulic actuators. The aforementioned hydraulic system is equipped with a variable-delivery pump which can operate in two different modes, namely full power mode for use as an excavator and reduced power mode for use as a loader. The invention is characterized in that it also comprises a temperature sensor which is used to determine the temperature of the oil in the hydraulic system and means of automatically switching the operation of the pump from full power mode to reduced power mode when the oil temperature exceeds a pre-determined threshold.

According to the invention, the moistening means comprise a device for generating foam and means for applying said generated foam to the fabric. For example, foam may be generated by means of a nozzle (21) having a first inlet (8) for a foaming liquid (6) and a second inlet (12) for supplying pressurized air to the nozzle so as to mix air with said liquid, thereby creating foam (42). Applying foam to the fabric (50) can be realized by means of a doctor blade (51) to break up the foam.

Abstract: Disclosed is a sandwich press device used together with an ironing device having an ironing board installed on a table in order to retain trousers and a pressing plate rotatably placed above the ironing board in order to iron out wrinkles in the trousers while spraying steam onto the trousers. The sandwich press device includes a plate having a rectangular shape, a winding section for winding the plate, a support rod for supporting the plate and the winding section, a base plate provided at an upper surface thereof with a hollow cylinder into which the support rod is slidably inserted, a height adjustment screw for fixing the support rod to the hollow cylinder, an iron seat positioned at upper end of the support rod, and a support wire connected to the iron seat and having a coil shape. The sandwich press device improves efficiency of ironing.

A series of prices are generated based on a factor for a size of a section of a portion of a sidewall or rearwall of a trailer, a factor based on the advertisement content, a factor based on an period of time that the advertisement is displayed, and a factor based on the travel path of the trailer. Once selections for each factor are made, an offer is generated and sold to a customer for advertising a product, name, graphic or logo associated with the customer. Then the offer is transmitted to a distributor for production of the advertisement and placement of the advertisement on the section of the trailer for the predetermined period of time. Two or more advertisements for two or more different customers may be produced in this manner and displayed on the sidewall or rearwall of the trailer for the same or different predetermined periods of time.

A keeper element is attached to an intermediate location of the pull element, and a grip element is coupled to an end of the pull element, outside of the magazine frame. The grip element is grasped and pulled downward, thereby moving the magazine follower down in the magazine frame. The keeper element passes through a wide section of the opening and is then engaged with a narrow section of the opening, thereby holding the magazine follower near the bottom of the magazine frame.

Abstract: The invention is a tool for use by fisherpersons to remove a split shot weight from a fishing line. The tool includes a finger sheath, a finger retainer and curved blade attached to the finger sheath. In one preferred embodiment the finger sheath and finger retainer are a sewing thimble. The tool may also include a “U” shaped clip for crimping a split shot closed.

Abstract: An improved fishing lure which produces, transmits and modulates high frequency vibrations. The high frequency tone wire vibration is actuated upon impact of a striker against the wall of an essentially watertight housing. As the striker oscillates within the housing, high frequency vibrations and sound waves emanate from the tone wire. This invention also includes a noisemaker component specifically designed using a tone wire and a striker which can be incorporated into existing fishing lures.

Abstract: A whale-safe goundline rope for attachment to undersea traps and seagoing buoys. This rope is made of melt-processable polymers having filler particulate distributed uniformly throughout the polymer, prior to it being extruded into a fiber or yarn. The manufacturing process generates a hollow rope, with that being a rope made from hollow fibers or yarn. The filler particulate is sufficient to provide a rope with negative buoyancy.

The fuel is oxidized with an organic hydroperoxide in the presence of an oxidation catalyst to form a sulfone product, followed by extraction of the sulfone product by solid-liquid or liquid-liquid extraction. The fuel is then contacted with a decomposition catalyst to remove the residual organic hydroperoxide from the fuel.

Abstract: A pultruded fiberglass lawn edging includes imbedded conductors which can be used to conduct low voltage electricity to allow the lawn edging to double as a lighting strip. If the conductors are wires positioned adjacent the top and bottom edges of the edging, they also act as structural reinforcements which strengthen the edges to prevent damage which would otherwise be caused when the edging is driven onto the ground. The wires can also be used to flexibly interconnect adjacent sections of edging.

The process is characterized by introducing steam and powdered carbon in stoichiometric ratio of carbon to water into a preheated oxidization chamber (2) in such a way that a gas plasma is produced in which the steam is decomposed into its hydrogen and oxygen gas components and oxygen is combined with carbon to form carbon dioxide gas in an exothermic reaction at temperatures above 2000° C., and separating the carbon dioxide gas from the hydrogen gas. Accordingly, the device for conducting this process comprises an oxidization chamber (2) defined in a hollow body (1) made of a material withstanding temperatures above 2000° C.

An adjustable torsion bar assembly supports the door panel against sagging.

Abstract: A horizontally sliding door includes a resilient retention system that helps hold a door panel tightly against its seals when the door is closed, and resiliently releases the door panel when an external force displaces the panel beyond its normal path of travel. If the door panel is displaced off its normal path, the resilience of the retention system or simply opening and closing the door automatically returns the panel back to normal operation. The resilient retention system can be installed off the floor, so the system avoids creating a tripping hazard and avoids being damaged by nearby vehicles.

In one aspect, the adjustable mounts include theft-deterring features that inhibit unauthorized removal of the window well cover from the window well.
