Abstract: A heat transfer fluid pathway is provided driven by a pump which feeds the heat transfer fluid through a vest and cap or other heat transfer garment, where the heat transfer fluid draws heat away from the body of the wearer. A drinkable heat sink material is located within a removable cartridge located within a heat exchange pouch. The heat transfer fluid passes from the heat transfer garment to the heat exchange pouch where heat drawn from the wearer is transferred to the heat sink material within the cartridge. A temperature control valve is provided along with a bypass line so that an adjustable amount of the heat transfer fluid is routed to the heat exchange pouch for temperature control. A supply of elevated pressure air is optionally provided to maintain optimal contact for efficient heat transfer within the heat exchange garment and the heat exchange pouch.

Abstract: A sun visor for attachment to a pair of eyeglasses temples. The visor is a flat surface with an inner concave and a convex outer edge. The visor itself resembles the bill of a baseball cap. The visor is added to a pair of glasses by slipping the temples through the temple holes in the visor and sliding the visor to the front most part of the glasses. By dong so the visor will arch upward and due to the two temple holes the visor will remain in place giving shade from the sun to the wearer. There are two things unique about my visor design. The first thing that is unique about my sun visor is that it has two template holes which gives stability to the visor and does not allow the visor to fall forward into the wearers face. The second is the slits in the material connected to the template holes allowing templates that are thicker in the middle to slide forward to the front end of the template hinge.

  • Publication number: 20060191064
Abstract: The present invention reduces fluid splashing by forming viscous fluid from a portion of the lavatory fluid. The viscosity of the fluid within the toilet bowl impedes flow of the fluid which in turn reduces the amount of splashing. The system and method used in this present invention require an additive which when added to fluid, forms viscous fluid for splash retardation. A dissolution agent subsequently reduces the viscosity of the viscous fluid in the toilet bowl to facilitate expulsion therefrom. Therefore, the additive and the dissolution agent are added into a toilet flushing system having a toilet bowl, a cistern which stores and dispenses fluid into the toilet bowl for facilitating waste disposal through a disposal outlet in fluid communication with the toilet bowl. When the additive is dispensed into the toilet bowl and the viscous fluid receives waste, the viscous fluid substantially reduces fluid splashing from the toilet bowl.

Abstract: A multi-purpose mitt includes microfiber loop chiffons sewn to the front and back portions of a cotton base so that, in general, adjacent edges of the microfiber loop chiffons are approximately 0.5 inch apart from one another. The multi-purpose mitt provides increased microfiber loop exposure to an area to be cleaned, and therefore greater capability for accumulating and retaining larger quantities of dirt, dust, pollen and other contaminants. At the same time, the multi-purpose mitt of the present invention with the above described configuration is configured with a microfiber loop density that provides a high degree of water absorbency.

Abstract: A windshield wiper arm assembly for wiping a windshield of a motor vehicle can include a wiper linkage head having a bore formed therein for being connected to a rotatable wiper drive shaft. A wiper arm can be coupled to the wiper linkage head through a pivot pin allowing pivoting movement of the wiper arm with respect to the wiper linkage head between a stable windshield engaged position and a stable windshield disengage position. A beam compression spring can bias the wiper arm with respect to the wiper linkage head between the stable windshield engaged position and the stable windshield disengage position. A process for fabricating a beam compression spring for a windshield wiper arm can include the steps of cross-weaving an elongate tri-axial glass fiber sock, bathing the elongate glass woven sock in a thermoset resin, and curing the bathed cross-woven sock in a heated pultrusion die to form a pultruded elongate strip.
