One clamp end opens into apex of the channel and at least one side of clamp opens to triangular channel. One end of flexible material to be clamped is wrapped about triangular bar and overlapped upon itself. The wrapped bar is inserted into clamp channel though the at least one open side of clamp and flexible material is passed through clamp opening at channel apex. Assembled wrapped bar and clamp connect to tensioning means causing clamp and bar to move relative to one another to lock flexible material between major surfaces of triangular bar and corresponding major surfaces of triangular clamp channel, locking flexible material in channel.

A sealed container containing ashes of a cremated individual may be positioned into a hole. The sealed container may be constructed of a material to withstand the underwater environment. A cap may be placed over the hole, thereby containing the sealed container within the hole. The cap may have a plate positioned thereon with text pertaining to the cremated individual, which may be viewable by swimmers and/or boaters.

The adhesive is placed under a location wherein surface acoustic wave die is to be located. The surface acoustic wave die is thereafter pressed into the adhesive, whereby upon a subsequent curing of the adhesive, the surface acoustic wave die is held securely in place, while remaining flexible as required by sensing applications associated with the surface acoustic save sensor.

Preferably, the arms of the swingarm assembly are formed at least partially by a hydroforming process and the center of each of the arms has a width that is greater than the width of either a forward or rearward end of the arm. In addition, the forward end of each of the right end left arms preferably is bent inward such that the forward portion of the swingarm assembly is narrower than the rear portion of the swingarm assembly. The hydroforming process permits the inner wall of the arms to be vertical and substantially planar along the region where the arms are bent about a generally vertically extending axis.

Instead of a rounded ridge on the container, the ridge has a flattened section on its lower half. On the inside of the snap-on cap, the ridge has two flat surfaces. A first flat surface is designed to fit snugly against the flat surface on the ridge of the container, even at the extreme range of small container/large cap. The design has been shown to dramatically reduce the absorption of moisture by an enclosed product, demonstrating that a desirable seal is formed.

    Abstract: There are disclosed a method and apparatus for applying a strippable paint to a large-sized product finished with a sprayed coating, such as an automobile, to form a protective film on the surface of the coating. The product is conventionally kept in stock for a period of time before it is shipped. Contaminations such as dust are washed away from the surface of the product. Then, the strippable paint is applied, preliminarily dried, and non-preliminarily dried to form the protective film out of the strippable paint on the surface of the coating. This protective film is formed easily, appropriately, and reliably. The obtained protective film has a uniform and sufficient thickness. Even if the surface contains unapplied regions to which the paint should not be applied, the paint can be applied to the whole surface of the coating while avoiding the unapplied regions according to the invention. The application can be performed easily and reliably without leaving unapplied portions around the unapplied regions.

The pallet is supported on a movable section of the conveyor, which can be guided between raised and lowered positions with respect to the workstation to accurately and repeatably position the support pallet with respect to the workstation for automated processing operations at the workstation.

Motion of the needle and swaging tool is controlled by cams under the command of a microprocessor control unit. A substrate to which filamentary members are swaged is also disclosed.

    Abstract: The automation mechanism has of three rubber discs, two of which are connected to two swiveling brackets. The brackets are directed by two cables and two cable levers, each one connected to each handlebar. The swivelling brackets consist of two rubber discs that make contact to the center disc at the left side of the shroud. This center disc is connected to the rotating snow auger inside the shroud, which is the driving force for this invention. When one of the rubber discs makes contact with the rotating rubber disc at the center, it rotates a drive chain that is connected to a sprocket near the discharge chute. The sprocket rotates a clutch that rotates a worm gear, and in turn, rotates the discharge chute. Once the discharge chute reaches its maximum rotating limit, the clutch disengages by slipping. The operator can move the chute either right or left by pulling on either the left or right lever on the handlebars, while operating the snow blower at the same time.
