Abstract: A filler assembly capable of filling unit-of-use medication containers or dispensers. In an embodiment, the filler assembly includes a generally trough-shaped top with a generally horizontal bottom including apertures surrounded by multiple sidewalls. Further, a body including a plurality of sides and ends is coupled to the top for transferring medication from the top to the medication dispenser. The plurality of sides includes a plurality of chutes covered by a transparent cover. Additionally, a base for supporting the filler assembly is included. The base bottom includes a plurality of apertures and positioners. The plurality of apertures extend through the base whereby each aperture aligns with one of the plurality of chutes. Moreover, a slide is coupled to at least one of the body and the base for controlling the dispensing of medication by a user.

Abstract: A dispenser for individually dispensing items of merchandise, such as recorded media contained in rectangular-shaped boxes, from a plurality of vertically stacked media secured in a locked housing supported on a display fixture. A pivotally mounted security door closes and exposes an open front of the housing having an internal storage compartment for the stacked media. The door includes a magnetically actuated lock mechanism. A slide mechanism contained in a tray mounted beneath the housing has a tab which engages the rear of the bottommost media and ejects it through a lower discharge opening in the housing when actuated by a control button projecting from the front of the housing. A pivotally mounted transparent display panel is mounted on the front of the housing and contains one of the recorded media for viewing both sides thereof by a potential customer.

Abstract: The invention relates to a dose indicator (A) which is intended for a fluid product dispensing device (B). The inventive indicator consists of at least one rotary counting means (10) which can move in rotation and which comprises indicator means (15), said indicator means indicating the number of doses that have been distributed or that remain to be distributed. Moreover, said at least one counting means is actuated by an actuation member (35) which is in turn actuated by a transmission element (34) that is designed to co-operate with the dispensing device each time the latter is actuated. The dose indicator comprises amplification means which are designed to amplify the movement of the transmission element (34) with each actuation, such that the movement of the actuation member (35) is greater than the movement of the transmission element (34).

Abstract: The present invention relates to a workstation for the handling of chemicals and containers, in particular of containers as used in a laboratory, in combination with a metering device for solids and liquids. The workstation comprises at least: (i) a platform, which has at least one module with at least one reservoir for a sample and at least one module with at least one target container (ii) a metering system for the metering of the sample, (iii) a portal system, which is arranged above the platform and which maneuvers the metering system to all three directions in space, (iv) a control device for controlling the movements of the metering system, and (v) a measuring system for the samples. Thereby, the metering system (ii) has a gripper device for the uptake of a metering tool and/or of the containers, and said metering tool is supported within at least one module on the platform.

Abstract: The invention relates to a dispenser bottle for a liquid aqueous washing composition which consists of at least two, preferably exactly two, part-compositions kept separate from one another. The dispenser bottle has a first receiving vessel (1) and at least one, preferably exactly one, second receiving vessel (2) and the first receiving vessel (1) contains a first part-composition and the second receiving vessel (2) a second part-composition. The two receiving vessels (1, 2) are either designed separately or connected to one another or designed together in one piece, The receiving vessels (1, 2) each have an outlet (3, 4) for the part-composition. The outlets (3, 4) are arranged adjacently to one another such that the two part-compositions can be applied in a common application field (5) of an application region. Abstract: A pneumatic greaser has a body and a barrel. A piston is movably received in the body and defined with a valve hole at a rear end thereof. A pole is formed on the pole plate positioned in the piston. Multiple linkages extend through the pole plate and are connected with an exterior sheet and an interior sheet. A valve spring is provided between the exterior sheet and the pole plate. A valve shaft extends through the valve hole. A rear cushion is mounted on a rear end of the valve shaft. A front cushion is mounted outside the exterior sheet. A buffer spring is provided between the front cushion and the barrel. Whereby, during the reciprocation of the piston, the valve hole can be reliably closed by the rear cushion under the force of the valve spring. Thus, the pneumatic greaser can during operation stably and continuously eject grease with a low impact.

A preferred latch mechanism comprises a projection and an interfitting recess, one being on the base section and the other on the upper section. Abstract: An easily mounted and removable closet space making system where the first of two components is designed to be instantly install against the back wall of a clothes closet between the shelve and the shelve supporting member. This component has a hinge that supports a single garment arm used to hang multiple clothes hangers on. After installing 1 or 2 of these components, the clothes that were hanging on the clothes rod can now be transferred to the back wall of the closet, freeing up most or all of the clothes rod for the second component. The second component hooks onto the clothes rod and has a double hinge that supports two garment arms and is on a swivel so either side can face forward. With both components, gravity drops the arm down in the storage position. To select a garment, simply slide your hand in behind the garment in front of the garment you want and lift the arm. This will create ample space to access the garment you are after.

Abstract: The sun visor pen holder secures writing pens to the visor of a vehicle. The pen holder includes a main strap of an elastic material. The main strap forms a loop that stretches over the sun visor to secure the pen holder to the sun visor. A common lower loop adapted for retaining the point end of a plurality of pens extends transversely across the main strap. A plurality of upper loops extends across the main strap parallel to the lower loop, each pen loop forming a channel for holding the upper end of a single pen. A pen is inserted into the channel of an upper loop and slid under the lower loop to securing the pen to the holder at both the upper and lower ends of the pen.

The rack has a conversion member that may readily be used to convert an existing bicycle rack to a trailer-bike rack to transport a trailer-bike on the roof of a vehicle, such as an automobile. The rack may also be configured to transport the trailer-bike along with the towing bicycle together on the same convertible rack system.

The invention permits to avoid the breakage of the roller around the driving indentations.

A firing mechanism is associated with the cartridge housing for ejecting the surgical fasteners from the cartridge housing to be driven against the anvil structure. A lockout mechanism interacts with the cartridge housing for selective activation and deactivation. The lockout mechanism includes a swing gate tab secured to the cartridge housing at a position adjacent a lockout lever, such that firing of the linear surgical stapler rotates the swing gate tab releasing the lockout lever for preventing further firing of the used cartridge housing.

Abstract: Embodiments of a differential thermal expansion bonding device are described for the high volume bonding of laminae together to form a MECS device. One embodiment of the device comprises a frame, engager made of a solid, liquid or gas, preload with springs and platens. Other embodiments of a method for bonding laminae together to form a MECS device using surface mount technology (SMT) techniques are described, with one embodiment being directed towards conveyorized bonding. The method including providing laminae to be bonded that do not include a solder mask, microething at least a portion of at least one lamina, applying solder paste to a microetched portion, and bonding the laminae together using the solder paste. A method for continuously bonding laminae also is described, such as by using a conveyorized furnace for applying heat to a workpiece functionally associated with the bonding device. The method can include forced convective heating, cooling or both, using inert gas flush.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for vibration welding. The vibration welding is performed with a plurality of mechanically decoupled oscillating heads, each of which is connected with a frequency converter. An electrical circuit connects the frequency converters such that one of the frequency converters can be operated as the master and the other frequency converters as slaves. With the help of the controlling effect of the master, both a synchronous and a targeted asynchronous operation of the plurality of oscillating heads can be realized.

The process simultaneously deposits composite particles that include all braze materials, i.e., both filler alloy and brazing flux, and corrosion protection materials used in the brazing of aluminum fins to plates and tubes in a single stage.

The identification code includes an encoded identifier of identification information corresponding to the target subject. The described apparatus, system, and method advantageously provide better identification and tracking of identification information for the target subject.

Abstract: A hose tracking system having a hose assembly with an attached RF ID tag imbedded therein during manufacture, molded thereon or permanently attached. The RF ID tag is coded with an identification specific to the particular hose assembly. An RF ID tag reader is provided, which is usable by a user to obtain the identification from the RF ID tag on the hose, preferably after it is installed at the user facility. The RF ID tag reader includes a user input for at least one trackable event and is at least one of connectable to a computer network or compatible for uploading the identification and any user input to a network accessible device. The network accessible hose database provides access to a user to obtain the hose-related information based on the identification from the RF ID tag and receives and stores data related to the at least one trackable event.

The RFID integrated circuit, first conductive region and second conductive region together provide an RFID function. An attachment layer is associated with the bottom surface of the substrate for attaching the tag to a surface. An adhesion modifying layer modifies the adhesion of the second conductive region such that the second conductive region is disrupted if the tag is tampered or removed from the surface.

A low cost close range RFID Reader which is operatively connected to a control device which contains a transmitter and is configured to function as a homodyne receiver. The device can be constructed from low cost parts and can function in close ranges to other tags. The method of the present invention provides the activation of reading and writing hardware to read and write information upon a tag and a label.

Abstract: One purpose is to provide a user friendly IC card reading apparatus conforming to different communication standards. A linear power amplifier supplies an antenna circuit with a power source voltage for Type A which is supplied from a power supply switching circuit when transmitting a radio signal of Type A, while supplying the antenna circuit with a power source voltage for Type B which is supplied from the power supply switching circuit when transmitting a radio signal of Type B, based on the instructions of a CPU. This makes it possible to read out of IC cards of both Type A and Type B.

Abstract: A sensor calibration system includes a sensor having one or more sensing components formed on a substrate. A barcode can also be configured or printed from or on the, such that the barcode contains calibration data associated with a calibration of the sensor and the sensing component(s). One or more barcode readers can be provided which can scan the barcode and reads the calibration data associated with the calibration of the sensor and the sensing components thereof, in order to reduce the need for trimming the sensor while also providing for a reduction in associated manufacturing and production costs. A binning methodology can also be implemented for reducing overall sensor manufacturing costs.
