Abstract: The garments and method disclosed herein serve to combat cellulite and/or venous and lymphatic insufficiency in at least one desired area of a lower and/or upper member of the body. The garments preferably comprise an elastic knitted shell having an inner face and an outer face adapted to restrain with a degressive rate of pressure of the distal extremity of the member toward its proximal extremity, and compromise a projection structure placed on a portion of the inner face corresponding to said area. The projection structures are capable of locally modifying the curvature of the knitted shell, or other material, when the garment is worn thereby increasing the compression exerted by the garment in said area.

Abstract: A head and neck pillow that includes a first crescent-shaped support member, wherein the first crescent-shaped support member further comprises a first arm and a second arm; and, a second crescent-shaped support member pivotally, flexibly, or moveably attached to the first crescent-shaped support member, wherein the second crescent-shaped support member further comprises a third arm and a fourth arm. The crescent-shaped support members are typically oriented in the same direction and the four arms are capable of independent movement under certain circumstances when the neck pillow is in use.

Abstract: An air bed having independent air chambers is disclosed for the patients suffering with bedsores. The air bed has multiple air chambers and a pneumatic device, and the multiple air chambers are arranged in matrix on the bed. The pneumatic device includes at least one air pipe. The air chambers of odd numbers and even numbers rows are connected to different air pipes. The rows of odd number and even number chambers can be filled with air in turn, which is favorable to turn the patient, and promote blood circulation. The air chambers corresponding to the bedsore can be bound into an hour glass configuration, so that the bedsore part will not contact the air chambers, while healthy other parts supported by the air chambers will not endure much pressure, which is favorable to the patient.

Abstract: A dual use hand tool apparatus has a handle portion of a length fully extensive over a palmer portion of a hand firmly gripping the handle portion. The apparatus also has a barrel portion that is integral and contiguous with the handle portion. The handle and barrel portions are mutually positioned to form an obtuse angle of from about 125 and 145 degrees. A cutting blade is at least partially enclosed within the barrel portion and a compression wheel is longitudinally extensive from the handle portion. Pressure applied to the compression wheel causes the cutting blade to retract into the barrel portion.
