Abstract: The garments and method disclosed herein serve to combat cellulite and/or venous and lymphatic insufficiency in at least one desired area of a lower and/or upper member of the body. The garments preferably comprise an elastic knitted shell having an inner face and an outer face adapted to restrain with a degressive rate of pressure of the distal extremity of the member toward its proximal extremity, and compromise a projection structure placed on a portion of the inner face corresponding to said area. The projection structures are capable of locally modifying the curvature of the knitted shell, or other material, when the garment is worn thereby increasing the compression exerted by the garment in said area.

Abstract: Infant clothing articles having indicia thereon for sizing, sorting, and preventing or inhibiting loss. The indicia includes a color corresponding to a size of infant clothing articles. The indicia is highly visible and is adapted to be used in hospital and other institutional settings to distinguish infant clothing articles from other linens and to identify different sizes of infant clothing articles.

Abstract: A belt keeper for securing a duty belt to a garment is disclosed. The belt keeper has a fastener tab on the inside surface so that the belt keeper can be detachably attached to the fastener strip on the inside of the duty belt. The fastener tab is flexibly attached to the belt keeper so that the belt keeper can readily allow its user to secure the duty belt to the garment belt, and keep the belt keeper in its position even after disengagement. In another embodiment, the belt keeper has a flexibly attached clamp on the inside of the belt keeper. The clamp can be detachably attached to the duty belt, so that the duty belt can be readily secured to the garment belt, while facilitating the belt keeper to maintain its position on the duty belt upon disengagement. In yet another embodiment, the clamp is a dual clamp, where one clamp is attached to the inside surface of the belt keeper and the other clamp can be detachably attached to the duty belt.

Abstract: The method and apparatus pertains to conjoining the upper and lower garment to achieve additional support for the lower garment with out the need for suspender straps. At the same time the apparatus remove wrinkles and bulging material in the upper garment that is tucked in. A high adhesive rubber pad is attached to a durable waistband bracket that supports the belt loops which are attached to the waistband which supports the weight of the lower garment. Multiple strapless belt loop suspenders contribute to the support of the weight of the lower garment The additional holding power of the strapless belt suspenders will allow the user the freedom of wearing the lower garment at the height wanted without the use of straps. This extra support will allow the user to show better physical posture by allowing the stomach to be pulled in without their lower garment dropping.

Abstract: An improved infant garment formed from ventral and dorsal panel portions that are attached at the shoulder to a collar and that include outwardly extending sleeves. The ventral and dorsal sleeve portions incorporate respective seam edges, which are releasably joined to establish an easy donning and removal configuration. Parents can thus more easily remove and replace the infant garment when threading the limbs of a delicate and or writhing newborn into and out of the sleeves of the garment. In various alternative configurations, the improved infant garment is also adapted with the traditional front opening seam for appearance purposes only, and or for added functional benefit. In yet other various modifications, the posterior edge of the improved garment can be adapted to releasably attach to trousers, and to alternatively extend posteriorly beyond the legs to enable the bottom edge to be completely closed about the feet of the infant.

Abstract: This football training vest prevents a user from using his or her body core to catch the American football and thereby force the user to catch the American football in his or her hands at a distance from his or her body core. The football training vest includes a cushion made of a foam rubber or other lightweight shock absorbent material that is fastened to the exterior surface of the front of the football training vest to train a user to properly catch an American football.

Abstract: Clothes includes a removable collar. The clothes and the collar are prepared separately and are combined via a zipper, a hook-and-loop fastener or a plurality of buttons. Since the collar is removable, one can replace only the stained collar without throwing away the entire clothes. In addition, the removable collar can achieve the variety and the diversity of clothes by simply changing the collar.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a convertible and a swiveling necktie and a method of using the convertible and swiveling necktie. The convertible and swiveling necktie includes a knot body, a tail body, wherein the tail body swivels relative to the knot body, and the tail body is urged to settle at increments at approximately 180 degrees to maintain a desired side of a fabric tail. The present invention further includes the knot body forming an elliptically-shaped receiving portion, the tail body forming an elliptically-shaped member that is received by the elliptically-shaped receiving portion, and wherein the tail body is swively connected to the knot body.

Abstract: A method of making a glove is described. The method comprises dipping a glove form into two different formulations. Each formulation comprises a carboxylated nitrile butadiene rubber with different amounts of covalent and ionic cross linkers. The gloves preferably have a stress retention value of greater than 50%.

Abstract: A removable cover for a mortarboard or graduation cap is disclosed that allows the mortarboard to be customized based upon the desire of the person wearing the mortarboard. The cover may be cosmetic with floral or other pattern or the cover may include a slogan, logo, or other unique indicia. The form fitting removable cover consists of a flexible sleeve or folded fabric where the mortarboard is slid into the cover and Velcro or similar temporary fastening means are used to secure the cover on to the mortarboard. The cover fits over and around the flat portion of the mortarboard leaving the head retaining portion of the mortarboard exposed. A method of constructing the mortarboard cover is also disclosed to provide disclosure on a method of making the cover.

Abstract: A scarf or shawl comprises a garment with interior and exterior surfaces. The interior surface contains a plurality of pockets with closures for securing contents. A pair of fastening devices is attached to the garment for holding the garment to the wearer's other apparel. The scarf or shawl may be worn in lieu of, or in addition to, a jacket, coat, handbag, or wallet. The garment may also be worn in reverse, with the pockets facing outwards.

Abstract: An improved self adjusting cap for all weather use is disclosed. The improvement lies in the modified attached ear protecting band. The band has an upper edge attached to the crown and a shorter lower edge generally parallel to the upper edge. The lower edge has a shorter linear length than the upper edge so the band more closely conforms to the head of the wearer. Also, the band conforms to the head of the wearer when folded up into the cap without any bunching of material. Additionally, the two forward edges running from the upper edge to the lower edge have an arcuate shape which allows more of the face of the wearer to be protected without obstructing the peripheral vision of the wearer.

At least one loop, an engaging loop, is configured to engage a waistband button. A remaining portion of the waistband extender is configured to thread through the buttonhole with which the button mates. A second loop within the remaining portion of the waistband extender engages the button, thereby securing the waistband's button/buttonhole combination, while providing a greater separation than the button/buttonhole combination alone normally would provide.

Abstract: The invention relates to a knitted fabric comprising a first low-extensible area (1) and a second high-extensible area (2) which is seamlessly connected thereto. The aim of the invention is to provide a knitted fabric which can be used to produce a compression article, having areas of different high compression and wherein the difference in compression of the individual areas is as high as possible and can be obtained in a manner which is as simple and economical as possible. According to the invention, the knitted fabric is formed from at least one knitted thread (3), which forms a basic knit, and welt threads (4) which are integrated therein. The differing amounts of extensibility of the two areas (1; 2) arises from different integration of the weft threads (4) into the basic knit. The invention also relates to a compression article, particularly a compression hose which is produced from the inventive knitted fabric.

The fasteners detachably mount respectively through the longitudinal slots in the cover and locking slots, and each fastener has a knob and a T-shaped latch. The illuminants are replaced easily by detaching the cover. The chinstrap is attached to the body.

The removable frame may also be more flexible (softer) than the goggle frame, and, when fastened to the goggle, may provide a more comfortable fit for the user. The drape may be configured to hang below the goggle to protect the user's face when worn, and to be releasably fastened over the lens to protect the lens when the user places the goggle elsewhere, such on his/her helmet as he/she wears the helmet.

At least one hanging hook is protruded from the top of the frame. A plurality of hanging holes corresponding to the hanging hooks is disposed at the top and bottom of the lens for fixing the lens onto the frame. The head strap latches the head strap connecting means onto both sides of the lens for preventing the lens from falling out accidentally. When the goggles are not used, the latching force disappears and allows its removal for cleaning. A ventilation structure disposed inside the lens is provided to prevent splattering.

Abstract: A sewer pipe gas exhaust filter apparatus includes a sewer vent valve unit connected to a sewer pipe and including a valve member moved into and out of engagement with a valve seat by a float member, a gas filter unit connected to the sewer vent valve unit and including a gas filter medium, and a gas flow valve arrangement to cause gases from the sewer to flow through the filter medium while bypassing air drawn into the sewer pipe past the gas filter unit. The filter medium of the gas filter unit removes chemical components from air and gas exhausted from the sewer pipe, thereby improving the odor of such exhausted gases.

Abstract: The Sanitary Toilet Seat covering (Cheek 2 Ceat) is a product designed to cut the spread of germs and bacteria commonly found on toilet seats in public toilet areas. One drive gear on motor shaft, meshing with the driven gear on said shaft. This shaft has two mounting hinges which attach to lid, driving it to the up or down position. Motor two is connected to a hollow shaft, surrounding the inner shaft through the drive gear and the driven gear on the shaft. This shaft has two mounting hinges fastened to the seat, driving it to the up or down position. The motors are independently controlled by two switches (push bottons) on either a hand control box mounted to the toilet tank or any easily accessible area near the toilet. The other option being a foot controller, mounted on the floor by toilet pedestal or under the toe kick plate on sink cabinets, out of the way but accessible.

Abstract: A method and device for accurately and reproducibly positioning a woman's breast to receive radiation while the woman is positioned in a prone, face-down position upon a radiation treatment table are disclosed. The treatment table is useable with radiation accelerator tables of existing linear accelerator machines. The treatment table includes a generally flat patient support surface having an opening that allows the patient's breast to fall dependently below the support surface through the opening yet remain above the radiation accelerator table such that the breast can be irradiated for therapy or treatment. The platform further includes a head positioning device connected to the support surface such that a woman's head can be placed in the positioning device while she lies in the prone position and such that one or both of her breasts can be accurately and reproducibly positioned for treatment through the opening.

The air chambers of odd numbers and even numbers rows are connected to different air pipes. The rows of odd number and even number chambers can be filled with air in turn, which is favorable to turn the patient, and promote blood circulation. The air chambers corresponding to the bedsore can be bound into an hour glass configuration, so that the bedsore part will not contact the air chambers, while healthy other parts supported by the air chambers will not endure much pressure, which is favorable to the patient.

A cutting blade is at least partially enclosed within the barrel portion and a compression wheel is longitudinally extensive from the handle portion. Pressure applied to the compression wheel causes the cutting blade to retract into the barrel portion.

Abstract: A method for producing a colored cellulose fiber, comprising: a step (1) of introducing a carboxylic group or a sulfonic acid group into cellulose fiber, and a step (2) of treating the cellulose fiber having the carboxylic group or the sulfonic acid group introduced with an aromatic derivative having one or more hydroxyl-groups and a metal salt simultaneously or separately, and a colored cellulose fiber produced by the same method.

The disclosure also relates to a process for simultaneously bleaching and dyeing keratin fibers using this composition.

The compositions are suitable for dark hair. They are easy to use and can produce chromatic and fast coloration.
