  • Patent number: 7192002
Abstract: A flush valve includes a body having an inlet an outlet and a seat between the inlet and the outlet. The seat defines an opening therethrough. A cover is attached to the body. A piston is engageable with the seat and movable within the body and cover to an extent permitted by a stop formed in the body or cover. The piston includes a guide portion extending through the seat opening and downstream of the seat. The guide portion has ribs and a skirt. The axial length of both the ribs and skirt is greater than the available piston travel so the flow passages through the seat opening at all times are defined by the skirt and ribs.

  • Patent number: 7192014
Abstract: An active vibration isolation support system, supplies current to a coil of an actuator according to the vibrational state of an engine, so that the actuator moves out and back a movable member to which an elastic body is connected. The elastic body is then deformed to change the capacity of a liquid chamber, thereby exerting vibration isolation function. Even if the pressure in a sealed internal space of an actuator case is changed due to the moving out and back of the movable member, the current is variably supplied to the coil of the actuator according to such a change in the pressure of the internal space, thereby controlling the thrust of the movable member so as to be constant. Therefore, the movable member is appropriately driven without receiving the influence of the change of the pressure in the sealed internal space of the actuator case, thereby exerting full performance of the active vibration isolation support system.

  • Patent number: 7192021
Abstract: A waiting tray is provided in a sheet-conveying path and holds sheets if the sheets need to be post-processed. A processing tray receives sheets conveyed from the waiting tray. It may receive sheets conveyed through the sheet-conveying path and coming not via the waiting tray, before the sheets are post-processed. A conveying mechanism is provided, which causes the sheets to fall, due to gravity, from the waiting tray onto a processing tray. A sheet-aligning mechanism aligns the sheets on the processing tray, at their transverse edges and longitudinal edges. On the processing tray, the sheets are post-processed, forming a bundle. The conveying mechanism conveys the bundle of sheets to a storage tray. The rear end of the processing tray is positioned at upstream of the rear end of the waiting tray.

  • Patent number: 7192022
Abstract: An apparatus for reversing a sheet, such as a banknote, from a front face to a rear face. In the reversing apparatus a first end of a common path communicates with an exit of a first conveyance path, a second end of common path communicates with an exit of a second conveyance path, and the first end of common path communicates with a merging path. Since the merging path is immediately after the common path, no delay is caused in the timing of feeding a banknote into the next processing step, improving reversing process performance. A first reversing roller rotates based on the on or off condition of a first electromagnetic clutch and a second reversing roller rotates based on or off condition of a second electromagnetic clutch. A banknote can be quickly and surely conveyed in the common path.

  • Patent number: 7192024
Abstract: A feed mechanism feeds sheet material sequentially on demand to a take-up mechanism of processing machinery. The feed mechanism has a feed table with a gate. Sheets may be stacked against the gate, which allows only the lowermost sheet to pass therebeneath. Rollers within the surface of the table are rotatably driven to advance the lowermost sheet beneath the gate to the take-up mechanism. A restraining device prevents freewheeling over run of the rollers. The sheets may be longer in length than the circumference of a tool-carrying roll set used to process the sheet. The difference is accommodated by transferring sheet feed through the nip between the tool set and a separate servo-controlled drive upstream of the nip.

  • Patent number: 7192025
Abstract: Apparatus for feeding sheets and other flat articles, especially with varying thickness, or from stacks of varying height, includes a device called a prompter. The prompter (136) comprises a body (137), a drive roller (142), mounted on and driven by shaft (135), an opposing idler roller (141), and a ribbed belt (138) stretched around the rollers. The body pivots about shaft (135) at the driven roller end. The prompter may alternatively feed articles from a stack to a singulator or other device, or it may comprise the driver of a singulator. A prompter (136), used as driver, combines with a retarder (120), called a dancer, to form a singulator (133). The dancer moves back and forth along the article flow path (121), responsive to thickness of articles, or to pull force on an article by a downstream takeaway device, to thereby automatically adjust the gap at the nip (144) of the singulator.

Abstract: A wheelchair includes a seat back and a frame rail. The seat back can be moved relative to the frame rail between a folded position and an unfolded and locked position. A first releasable locking mechanism releasably locks the seat back in the unfolded and locked position. A second releasable locking mechanism releasably locks the seat back at any selected one of a plurality of different angles relative to the frame rail. The seat back can be folded and unfolded without adjusting the seat back angle. The seat back has a portion that slides along the frame rail as the seat back angle is adjusted. The length of the seat back varies as the seat back angle is adjusted. The seat back includes a back cane that is pivotally connected with the frame rail by a pivot bracket. The back cane is fixedly connected to the pivot bracket. The pivot bracket pivots relative to the frame rail when the seat back is moved from the unfolded position to the folded position.
