Abstract: A new and distinct variety of seedless lemon tree named ‘Yellow Star Seedless’ characterized by being a triploid, and having early bearing in August through to about January in the citrus areas of Sicily, Italy and Riverside, Calif. The tree has high yields and bears from year three onwards. The trees are highly tolerant to the Mal secco disease. The variety is further characterized by being genetically seedless. The fruit is well sized and has acceptable rind thickness, acid-sugar ratios and color. The skin has a smooth texture and the fruit stores well. The fruit has an average juice content of 30-40% at harvest. The fruit shape is typically ovoid.

Abstract: A new and distinct variety of miniature rose with long lasting, novel golden bronze flowers, and dark green and attractive foliage. It exhibits compact, uniform growth and flowering under greenhouse conditions when grown as a potted floral plant. The new variety propagates well from cuttings and by grafting. This new and distinct variety has shown to be uniform and stable in the resulting generations from axsexual propagation.

Abstract: A sycamore maple tree named ‘Tunpetti’ having unique foliage color. In summer, the upper leaf surface is dark green, and the underside is greyed burgundy in color with vibrant red petioles. The foliage changes to a superb bright yellow upper and warm pink lower surface color during autumn. The bark of ‘Tunpetti’ is uniform and smooth with only a slight scaliness and limited vertical fissuring. In addition, ‘Tunpetti’ has been observed to be exceptionally resistant to “tar spot”, a leaf disease common amongst Aceraceae.

For each set of test conditions process, model test values are selected and a test substrate is substrates are actually subjected to a the test process processes defined by the test values , thereby creating a test surface profile profiles. The test values are used to generate an approximate profile prediction predictions and are adjusted to minimize the discrepancy between the test surface profile profiles and the approximate profile prediction predictions, thereby providing a final model of the profile evolution in terms of the process values.

Sharpened edges surround the perimeter of the curved blade end. In use, the worker grasps the tool by the handle end and inserts the curved blade end into the debris obstruction. Twisting, chopping and churning actions are exerted with the tool to agitate the debris obstruction to a flushable state.

Abstract: An apparatus for cleaning deposits from the interior surfaces of a kiln. The apparatus utilizes a directed high-pressure fluid jet to remove deposits adhering to elements within a kiln. The pressurized fluid is delivered to the fluid jet through the shaft of a rotary drill. The drill shaft is received in a sleeve permitting rotational and longitudinal displacement of the shaft. The sleeve also defines a plenum surrounding the drill shaft to communicate pressurized fluid to the fluid jet throughout longitudinal and rotational displacement of the drill shaft. The drill further utilizes a boring bit suitable for penetrating encrusted deposits to provide the fluid jet access to the interior surfaces of the kiln. For removing severe encrustations, the drill bit may be used to partially penetrate the encrustation and a linear actuator may then be employed to press large portions of the encrustation from the kiln's refractory lining.

Abstract: A cleaning head for cleaning the slats in a window blind includes a manifold for receiving cleaning fluid, a plurality of spaced apart fingers arranged in a row on the manifold and at least one orifice defined in each finger for spraying the cleaning fluid onto the slats. Cleaning pads may be disposed on the fingers to contact the slats. The manifold may be divided to provide a source of vacuum to a second plurality of fingers with apertures defined therein for removal of excess cleaning fluid. Another embodiment of the cleaning head has couplings extending laterally from the fingers, and spacing elements may be interposed between the couplings to vary the spacing between adjacent fingers. Yet another embodiment of the cleaning head utilizes an enclosed compartment with slots defined in upper and lower surfaces for receiving a slat through the compartment.

Each mating section has a bearing surface for receipt of the journal and, when embodied as a cylinder, terminal ends of the journal become inserted therein.

Abstract: A buffer bar fastening structure for fastening a buffer bar to a hinge of a cabinet door includes a barrel which has flanges on two ends to couple with arched portions at two ends of a latch member to couple the buffer bar on the barrel in a turnable manner. The latch member has one side connecting to a fastening member, which may be coupled with an adjusting slot of the hinge and a fastening section on another side to fasten the buffer bar to the hinge. The structure is simple and easy to install.

Abstract: A composite fabric is provided that contains staple fibers hydraulically entangled with a nonwoven web formed from continuous filaments. A portion of the staple fibers is entangled with the web, while another portion protrudes through the web. The resulting surface topography has one surface with a preponderance of the smooth, staple fibers, and another surface with a preponderance of the continuous filaments from the nonwoven web, but also including some of the protruded smooth, staple fibers. Thus, each surface contains smooth staple fibers and is soft.
