Abstract: The invention involves a method of characterizing a plasma reactor chamber through the behavior of plasma parameters selected from a group comprising ion density, wafer voltage, etch rate, wafer current, as functions of chamber parameters of source power, bias power and chamber pressure. The method begins by performing two steps for each one of the selected chamber parameters. The first step consists of ramping the level of the one chamber parameter while sampling RF electrical parameters at an RF bias power input to said wafer support pedestal and computing from each sample of said RF electrical parameters the values of the plasma parameters. These values are stored with the corresponding levels of the one chamber parameter as corresponding chamber parameter data. The second step consists of deducing, from the corresponding chamber parameter data, a single variable function for each of the plural plasma parameters having said one chamber parameter as an independent variable.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a system and method of remotely controlling a welding machine with command signals transmitted to the welding power source across a weld cable connecting the power source to a remote device, such a wire feeder. A transmitter transmits the control commands containing desired welding operational parameters to a receiver disposed in the power source across a weld cable also designed to carry welding power from the power source to the wire feeder.

Abstract: A combination dip and cake holder and punch bowl is readily configurable between any of three configurations. A platter member has a base with a female receiver, while a first type of receptacle has an extension that is receivable within the receiver so that when the first receptacle faces upwardly, a dip holder is formed. A second receptacle also has an extension that is receivable within the first extension of the first receptacle in order to form a punch bowl. When the first receptacle rests on its rim and the platter member receives the receptacle's extension, the device acts as a cake holder with the second receptacle being used as a cover that sits on the platter member.

Abstract: The combination of an injection-molded, snap-on cap and a blow-molded, plastic container are designed to act together to provide a seal that prevents a loss of freshness to the porous product stored within, regardless of variations in the manufacturing process. Instead of a rounded ridge on the container, the ridge has a flattened section on its lower half. On the inside of the snap-on cap, the ridge has two flat surfaces. A first flat surface is designed to fit snugly against the flat surface on the ridge of the container, even at the extreme range of small container/large cap. Interferences between the container and cap at points other than the intended flat surfaces can cause the closure to become point-to-point, rather than the desired surface-to-surface, so other portions of the inside of the cap are designed to not touch the container, preventing interferences.
