Abstract: A wearable tissue/handkerchief, cough/sneeze absorbent pad according to the invention comprises a washable, reusable armband or alternately, a completely disposable unit consisting of an adhesive strip, either to which is attached one or more disposable absorbent pads/tissues. These pads can be peeled off and used while held in the hand as a conventional tissue but preferably, when worn on one's arm, can be coughed/sneezed into while the device is on the arm. This allows the device to be utilized even when one's hands are not available, such as for anyone working in a health care setting, a chef preparing food or a waiter carrying plates of food. This prevents the common occurrence of sneezing/coughing out into the air or into one's hands or sleeve, which are unsanitary practices.

Abstract: A face shield for preventing an irritant from entering a person's eyes includes a shield member having front and back surfaces and a barrier member attached to the shield member which is engagable with a person's face. The face shield can also include a hand contact on the front surface adapted to receive at least a portion of the user's hand.

Abstract: A medical device treats diseases of the hand, wrist, and arm, including osteoarthritis and osteoarthrosis of the joints of the human hand. The medical device includes a multi-layer glove system, an arm wrap, a signal generator, lead wires, and a garment. The multi-layer glove system serves as the treatment electrode and the arm wrap serves as the return electrode. The multi-layer glove has a protective outer layer, which protects an underlying electrically conductive layer and prevents accidental electrical contact between the conductive layer and areas of a patient's skin. The signal generator produces a specific, spike shaped electrical signal, together with the multi-layer glove system, at the treatment site. The device can reduce pain and increase joint function of the treated joints.

Abstract: A forearm guard is disclosed wherein the components thereof provides both effective impact protection to the forearm and perspiration absorbing capability to prevent moisture from effecting the user's grip. In the preferred embodiments of the invention, the forearm guard comprises a sleeve of stretchable material and a flexible impact absorbing pad affixed to the forearm portion of said sleeve. The sleeve is preferably comprised of washable fabric that includes an elastomeric component, and/or is woven to provide stretchability. The sleeve can be of any suitable length and diameter effective to secure the impact absorbing pad over the forearm and thereby protect the forearm of the wearer during an athletic activity. In the preferred embodiments of this invention, the forearm guard is particularly suitable in the protection of the forearm of a baseball player from a wild pitch during batting.

Abstract: An apron for use in shoeing horses or in other activities in which there is a likelihood that a tool might puncture the thigh portion of a person's clothing has detachable thigh pads. The apron is washable, air permeable and lightweight in comparison to the pads. The pads, preferably leather, are puncture resistant, identically shaped and symmetrical about vertical and horizontal axes. The attachment mechanisms, such as mating segments of hook and loop material, are positioned so that the pads are interchangeable on the coverings. Thus, damaged pads can be rotated, switched or replaced on one lightweight apron, maximizing pad use and minimizing packing space for travel.

Abstract: A split sports jacket includes a pair of mating right and left jacket halves with dependent sleeves that cover a person's upper torso and arms. The jacket halves include respective halves of a collar around a neck opening and halves of an elasticized waist band around a waist opening thereof. The front zipper is of upright configuration that zips up from bottom to top. The rear zipper is of inverted configuration that zips up from top to bottom utilizing gravity to stay closed. The jacket halves are interchangeable with other mating jacket halves having differing external visual characteristics to change an overall look of the sports jacket such as colors, patterns, patches, logos, indicia, or emblems.

Pushing elements for pushing the wearer's skin away from the stretchable fabric and pulling elements for pulling the wearer's skin toward the stretchable fabric are secured thereto. The pushing and pulling elements produce a massaging effect on the wearer's skin.

Abstract: An inflating and separating device of body protection airbags primarily adds a hole groove in an inflating device for allowing gas to flow and connecting to a position between an inflating device and a riding object by a pulling string, and the pulling force of a separating device can be adjusted, such that if a rider has an accident and falls out from the motorcycle, or an excessively large force is produced, the inflating device and the separating device will be triggered in sequence instantaneously to achieve the effect of completing the inflation of the airbag quickly and prevent the rider from being dragged by the riding object and protect the rider's body.

Abstract: Provided is pants having a body-shaping function including; an elastic fabric included in the pants, and having a boundary that is partially fixed on the pants to elastically support hips of a wearer; and a hip-up band fixed on the elastic fabric to push the hips up so as to make contours of the hips more voluminous or compression bands on lower side portions of the elastic fabric in order to compress thighs of the wearer so as to make the thighs look thin, or a pair of pads having predetermined thicknesses and disposed on the elastic fabric to make the hips of the wearer look more attractive. Therefore, since the elastic fabric is integrally fixed in the pants for shaping the hips, the conventional girdle is not required. In addition, since the girdle in the pants only compresses the hips, it does not affect blood circulation around the belly, and is easily wearable. Also, the contours of the hips look more attractive due to the pads.

An interlining of a garment is treated with a stain-resistant and/or stain-release coating and is located between two layers of the garment fabric. The interlining effectively repels soil and stains so that they are not trapped between the layers of the collar. The interlining also allows any soil and stains that do get absorbed by the interlining to be easily released when the garment is washed, thereby preventing “ring around the collar” (as well as stains in other areas) from forming on the garment.

Abstract: A clothing system includes a set of first pants having a corresponding set of first cuffs and includes a second of second pants having a corresponding set of second cuffs. The sets of pants have different size ranges, but each set has the same outside circumference on the legs of the pants for that set. Each of cuffs in a set has the same inside circumference that will fit the outside circumference for the legs of the corresponding set of pants. Fasteners on the inside circumferences of the cuffs are used to attach and hold the cuffs to fasteners on the outside circumference of the pant legs.

Abstract: A three-piece panty garment can include three panels formed from separate tubular blanks knit on a small-circumference circular knitting machine designed for making pantyhose. As a result, such a panty garment can comprise an unstretched girth that is substantially three times the circumference of a small-circumference circular knitting machine knitting cylinder. Such panty garments and methods of making such panty garments can provide larger size panty garments made on a circular knitting machine designed for making pantyhose.

Abstract: The present invention relates generally to an improved single strap overall. More particularly, the invention relates to an overall garment with a single strap design that remains fastened better than previous double strap overalls. The invention improvements also include a novel portable electronic device, such as a cell phone, holder positioned on the front panel of the overalls for easy and convenient access to the phone in a compartment that retains the phone during bending and quick movements by the user.

Abstract: A Sweatshirt made with two hoods, one in the back and the other in the front. The front hood is made out of a 100% fleece polyester material which covers the majority of your face leaving an opening only for the eyes, nose, mouth and part of the jaw. It covers both sides of the face including the ears, chin, forehead and top of the head. It has a double fleece binding material attached by a single stitch to create the face opening. The two hoods are connected by a single stitch. The front hood has two button fasteners sewn at the bottom. They attach to the button wholes in the front part of the sweatshirt. The button fasteners allow you to fasten the hood down when being worn or detach the hood from the head entirely when not being worn. The front hood when not being worn lays flat across the back hood and covers the back portion of the neck keeping it warm. The bottom portion of the front hood is surrounded by a double fleece binding material to stop from stretching out of place.

Abstract: A flexible reinforcement for garments includes a filament that is made of a spring material shaped to have a plurality of turns so as to form an elongated helical spring coil, caps located over the ends of the spring coil; and a cloth channel which receives the elongated coil. The channel is adapted to be sewn into a garment at a location to reinforce its shape. The spring coil may have a diameter of from about 1/32 to 3/16th inches. The caps may be made of plastics, Teflon, metal or similar material and shaped to be round and smooth so as to act to prevent the ends of the spring from penetrating the garment or poking the wearer.

The strap adjusting means includes buckles respectively assembled on both sides of the lens frame, and a head strap is wrapped through the buckles. The buckles have bases integrally formed with the second frame. When the swimming goggles are in use, a center of the upper portion of the second frame will not be bent or distorted, while both sides thereof are gradually distorted to fit to swimmer's foreheads, effectively guarding from water seepage.

The football shoulder pads can include adjustable and selectively removable cap pads attachable to the shoulder portion of the football pads. The cap pads include a member for securing the cap pad to the wearer's arm. The football shoulder pads can further include adjustable and selectively removable deltoid pads and attachments for securing football pad accessories, such as a neck roll or rib protector, to the shoulder pads.

Abstract: The subject invention generally involves a device capable of lowering an object, animal or person from one level to another. In general, the device of the subject invention utilizes one or more support arms pivotally attached by one end to a transport assembly. The opposite end of the one or more support arms is pivotally attached to a bracket support that itself is securely affixed to a firm surface, for example, at or near the edge of a pool or spa. The transport assembly further comprises one or more support segments connected to a platform on which a person and/or equipment can be positioned for lifting or lowering. One or more of the support arms can be actuated by various means that raise or lower the support arms. When the support arms are raised or lowered by the actuating means the transport assembly is also raised or lowered, respectively.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a portable spa having a tray for centralized mounting of the various spa components. More specifically, the invention provides a portable spa or hot tub that utilizes a mounting tray for connection of the various spa components, including the ozonator, heater, control panel, and electrical connection interface. The tray is mounted to a support frame within a cavity residing between the spa tub and enclosure formed from exterior panels. The tray includes an arrangement of bays, wherein each bay is specifically dimensioned to receive a particular spa component and secure the component in a force fit. The bay arrangement includes a first bay that receives an electrical connection interface box or junction box. The mounting tray also includes a second bay that receives the control panel, a third bay that receives an ozonator, and a fourth bay that receives a heater and valves.

The device further includes a power means to raise and lower the center panel or the seat panel, which in turn raises and lowers the other panels.
