Patent number: 7228842Abstract: An electric throttle control apparatus for an internal combustion engine includes a throttle motor that operates the throttle valve. A throttle control unit controls driving duty for operating the throttle motor. The throttle control unit determines a tapping operation for learning a full close position of the throttle valve to be completed when the accelerator position is at a substantially minimum position, the opening degree of the throttle valve is substantially constant in the vicinity of the full close position, and the driving duty for operating the throttle motor with respect to a close direction of the throttle valve becomes equal to or greater than a threshold. The throttle control unit restricts the driving duty to be equal to or less than a driving duty limiting value, thereby maintaining the throttle valve in the full close position, when the throttle control unit determines the completing condition to be satisfied.Type: GrantFiled: March 8, 2006Date of Patent: June 12, 2007Assignee: Denso CorporationInventor: Yasuhiro Kato

Patent number: 7228843Abstract: A two-stroke engine has an intake channel via which the engine (1) is supplied with an air/fuel mixture prepared in a carburetor (12). The engine also has a starting device (19, 40) for enrichment of the air/fuel mixture during the start operation. The starting device (19, 40) is disposed in the region of the carburetor (12). To avoid an overenrichment of the mixture after start-up of the engine, a bypass channel (20) is provided which branches off upstream of the starting device (19, 40) viewed in the flow direction (30) of the air/fuel mixture and opens downstream of the starting device (19, 40). A switching valve (23) is mounted in the bypass channel (20) and is essentially closed when the engine (1) is started. When the engine (1) runs up, the switching valve (23) automatically switches into a position where less throttling occurs.Type: GrantFiled: September 17, 2003Date of Patent: June 12, 2007Assignee: Andreas Stihl AG & Co. A flexible thin plate is attached to upper surfaces of the small plate-like members so as to allow longitudinal and lateral folding. Heat carrier flexible tube passages are provided in longitudinal and lateral folding portions of the panel so as to leave some play, and folding margin members are provided at the lateral folding portions. Fit-in members are attachably and detachably provided in respective heat carrier flexible tube passages with some play.Type: GrantFiled: July 2, 2004Date of Patent: June 12, 2007Assignee: Mitsubishi Chemical Functional Products, Inc.Inventors: Hitoshi Seki, Michiaki Inoue, Shigeko Iijima

Patent number: 7228887Abstract: A radiator structure includes a base and conductive components. Several fins extend from the base and the conductive components are arranged in the base and the fins in a way of being distributed in orderly pieces in the base and the fins. The base and the fins are made of a metallic material with better heat dissipation rate and the conductive components are made of a metallic material with better heat conductivity so that integral heat dissipation efficiency of the radiator is enhanced largely.Type: GrantFiled: February 23, 2005Date of Patent: June 12, 2007Assignee: Asia Vital Component Co., Ltd.Inventors: Chiang-Han Chen, Hung-Chin Liao, Min-Hsun Shen

Patent number: 7228888Abstract: In a system for liquid cooling of electronics, where the electronics are subject to rotation in space, a liquid coolant storage tank includes a degassing and vortex-preventing structure to allow bubbles to float to the surface of the liquid inside the tank, and also to prevent vortices from forming near the outlet from the tank. The structure includes nested tubes or conduits. An inner conduit extends from the inlet into the tank, and its open end is covered by a second conduit with a baffle across its end, so that the flow is directed by the baffle to flow back along the outside of the inner conduit, and inside of the outer conduit. Especially at the inlet, a third conduit with large perforations surrounds the open end of the outer conduit. Smaller perforations on the inner conduit at the outlet side discourage any vortex from forming there. Reversal of the liquid flow, and the gradual increase in flow cross section prevent surging inside the tank.Type: GrantFiled: October 13, 2005Date of Patent: June 12, 2007Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Eric Alan Eckberg, James Dorance Gerken, Cary Michael Huettner, Roger Ray Schmidt

Patent number: 7228889Abstract: A heat dissipation device includes a seat, a fin set arranged on the seat, a fan, a fan mounting device having the fan mounted thereto, and a cover covering the fin set. The fan has a portion thereof located above the fin set. An opening is defined in fan mounting device and communicates the fan with the fin set and the fan with a space above a top of the fin set. The cover has a rearwards expanding port for guiding an airflow generated by a system fan to flow through the fin set. A top wall of the cover has a void to expose a portion of the top of the fin set.Type: GrantFiled: January 9, 2006Date of Patent: June 12, 2007Assignees: Fu Zhun Precision Industry (Shen Zhen) Co., Ltd., FoxConn Technology Co., Ltd.Inventors: Wei-Qiang Tian, Wan-Lin Xia, Tao Li

Patent number: 7228890Abstract: A heat exchanger comprises a shell formed from two joined-together shell members. Each shell member includes a tube plate that is integral with each respective shell member and that defines an axial end of the shell member. The shell members are joined along respective open ends. A plurality of tubes is disposed within the shell, and the tube ends are connected with the respective tube plates. A baffle is disposed within the shell and directs the path of coolant flow therein and over the tubes. One shell member includes a fluid inlet and the other a fluid outlet for directing coolant into and out of the shell. The heat exchanger includes an inlet manifold connected to one end of the shell and an outlet manifold connected to an opposite end of the shell.Type: GrantFiled: November 15, 2005Date of Patent: June 12, 2007Assignee: Honeywell International, Inc.Inventor: Laudijois Guillaume
