  • Patent number: 7247359
Abstract: A tubular casing for use with food products which includes knitted stockinette, longitudinal threads and circumferential spiral threads that are held to stockinette by stitches located along the length of the casing. Each thread comprises an elastic thread formed from an inextensible yarn spirally wrapped around the outside of a rubber thread. As thread is stretched, the rubber thread extends and the helix angle of the spirally wrapped yarn reduces to the point where the yarn approximates a straight line. The inextensible yarn resists further stretching beyond this point. This point is the elastic limit for thread and it can be adjusted by varying the helix angle during manufacture of the elastic thread. Threads therefore allow the casing to be filed to a predetermined maximum diameter and result in the filled casing having a constant diameter throughout its length.

Abstract: The invention is an easy to fold sanitary toilet seat cover for preventing direct contact between an individual's skin and the top and the side surfaces of a toilet seat. When unfolded, the toilet seat cover is sufficiently large to not only cover the entire elongated toilet seat, but also cover the sides of the seat. The disposable toilet seat cover comprises a polygonal annulus that is comprised of a quilted multilayer sheet having a water impervious layer and an absorbent layer, a wipe that is a detachable inner oval section that provides an opening to the toilet, and an adhesive fastening means for temporarily securing the polygonal annulus toilet seat. The water impervious layer comprises a coated layer and/or a filmic layer. The wipe detaches from an inner ovalled edge of the annulus, and is functional as a sanitary wipe or towel.

Abstract: When a molded portion of a weather strip is molded, a slit, from which a core body is taken out, is formed in a mounting base portion thereof. Also, plural blocking clips are provided at predetermined intervals along the slit. The blocking clips comprises a base portion, which constitutes a part of the mounting base portion, a fitting portion fitted into the slit, a lock portion locked on an inner surface of the mounting base portion, and an engaging projection formed in such a way as to project from the base portion. A fitting groove, into which the engaging projection is fitted, is formed in the mounting base portion. After a core body is taken out of a molded portion precursor, the blocking clip is attached thereto, so that the molded portion is obtained.

Abstract: Methods for forming and the intermediate greensheet products formed are provided by attaching a removable support film to a first surface of a greensheet and a frame to a second surface of the greensheet. The support film is preferably a peelable support film cast to the first surface of the greensheet for providing strength thereto. A plurality of openings are formed in the greensheet by punching into the support film, through the support film and then through the greensheet. During this process, the support film provides added strength to the greensheet therein significantly reducing embossing and deformation of such greensheet. A second support film may be attached to the removable support film using an adhesive layer, which, is extruded into the openings upon attachment. The support film(s) may be peeled off the greensheet with little or no impact on via locations as a metal frame continues to support the greensheet.

Abstract: The polyimide film of the present invention is produced in the following manner: polyamic acid made of a combination of a specific acid anhydride constituent and a specific diamine constituent are heated under a low-pressure circumstance for heat imidation, and the obtained imide is dissolved again in a solvent to be polyimide solution, then the polyimide solution is formed to be a film. In this manner, it is possible to provide a polyimide film essentially transparent and colorless, and has sufficient toughness to prevent occurrences of a crack or a break when the film is folded and creased by hand.
