Abstract: The object of the present invention is to cool an inside space of cooling warehouse uniformly by using a air refrigerant type cooling apparatus. A piping for taking in air in the cooling warehouse is installed. The air taken in by the piping (higher temperature) is mixed by the air sent from the air refrigerant type cooling apparatus (lower temperature) and blown off to the cooling warehouse. The temperature of the mixed air is closer to the temperature inside of the cooling warehouse than the air sent from the air refrigerant type cooling apparatus so that the inside of the cooling warehouse is cooled more uniformly. Furthermore, the amount and speed of the air blown off into the cooling warehouse are increased so that the inside space of the cooling warehouse is more uniformly cooled.

Abstract: A terminal crimping pliers is provided, which is designed with a simple structure, and is used to improve the disadvantages of the conventional terminal crimping pliers, such as being difficult to be grasped and difficult for forces applied thereon. The terminal crimping pliers can be extended with a small angle, through a vertical stopping slot combined with two stopping slots with oblique angles, and the terminal crimping pliers can be held closed with a small force.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for increasing the bending strength and the endurance limit of crankshafts by locally restricted hammering in areas of high stress, such as grooves, the mouths of bores and cross-sectional transition zones, in which method pressure impulse machines or beating devices comprising heating tools are employed. The pressure impulse machines or beating devices only execute a relative displacement of the beating tool against the surface of the crankshaft segment to be processed when the compressive stress is introduced between the heating tool and said surface of the crankshaft segment to be processed. The invention also relates to a device for increasing the endurance limit of crankshafts.

Abstract: A sensor system includes a sensor and a sensor electronics device. The sensor includes a plurality of electrodes. The sensor electronics device includes a connection detection device, a power source, and a delay circuit. The connection detection device determines if the sensor electronics device is connected to the sensor and transmits a connection signal. The delay circuit receives the connection signal, waits a preset hydration time, and couples the regulated voltage from the power source to an electrode in the sensor after the preset hydration time has elapsed. Alternatively, the sensor electronics device may include an electrical detection circuit and a microcontroller. The electrical detection circuit determines if the plurality of electrodes are hydrated and generates an interrupt if the electrodes are hydrated. A microcontroller receives the interrupt and transmits a signal representative of a voltage to an electrode of the plurality of electrodes.

Abstract: A method of confirming reception of a drop of water has the steps of applying a powder on a surface of a gas sensing element, placing the element in a gas passage so as to expose the surface of the element to the gas passage, causing a measured gas to flow through the gas passage, receiving drops of water included in the measured gas on limited areas of the surface of the element such that the drops of water take out the powder applied on the limited areas from the element, and confirming the reception of the drops of water on the surface of the element. The powder has a melting point or a sublimation temperature equal to or higher than 1000° C.

Abstract: A pulse production interval measurement module (or temporal reconciliation module) for preferred use with a computational flowmeter to thereby temporally reconcile or time shift flowmeter output produced by a volume of fluid flow through the computational flowmeter with the start and stop times of the flow of a calibrated fluid volume through a prover. The pulse production interval measurement module may be implemented with software and/or hardware and operate on stored data or real time or near real time measurements. Timing signals are sampled or collected with respect to one or more measurement elements within the computational flowmeter from which the measurement time interval for the flowmeter is determined.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for gas detection. The apparatus comprises a) a sample chamber for holding a gas sample, b) a sealable vacuum port in fluid communication with the sample chamber, for evacuating the sample chamber, c) a sealable inlet port in fluid communication with the sample chamber, for introducing the gas sample into the evacuated sample chamber, and d) a thermal conductivity sensing element at least partly disposed within the sample chamber, for measuring the thermal conductivity of the gas sample. A gas sample released into the evacuated sample chamber requires a time interval to contact the thermal conductivity sensing element. The time interval is a measure of gas speed. Thermal conductivity and temperature of the gas sample are measured following determination of gas speed. By determining three parameters in a single sample of gas, different gas mixtures having similar thermal conductivities can be distinguished.

Abstract: A fill time and stabilize and measurement time are determined for a pneumatic testing procedure. The fill time is computed by identifying, in the filling of a sample unit, a time when a substantial portion of variations of a measured variable (due to stabilization) are completed. The stabilize and measurement time is determined by comparison of the measurement variable behavior when filling sample unit(s) that do not leak, to the measurement variable behaviors when filling a sample unit that is in communication with an orifice simulating a leak. A measurement performance factor may be computed from this data at each of several possible times after a unit is filled. A gauge repeatability factor may be computed based on variance of nonleaking units at each possible time, compared to the variable change made on a sample unit when coupled to a leak-simulating orifice. Either factor may be used to select a stabilize and measurement time.
