The frame (31) of the intermediate support is equipped with a first attachment device (34) which cooperates with a second attachment device (23) positioned on the base so that, when the intermediate support is detached from the base, it remains part of the base due to the cooperation of the first and second attachment devices (34 and 23), and is able to pivot around the first attachment device. Preferably, the first attachment device (34) is a protuberance equipped with an end fold (33) and the second attachment device (23) is a hollow body capable of accommodating and containing the end fold. The two faces of the intermediate supports are advantageously equipped with a plurality of compartments.

Abstract: A coolant reservoir and associated multi-functional unit for a thermal sub-system of a fuel cell system. The coolant reservoir includes a flame arrester positioned in a gas region of the reservoir. The multi-functional unit includes a first pressure relief valve that automatically opens if the pressure within the gas region goes above a first predetermined pressure. The multi-functional unit may also include a second pressure release valve that quickly releases pressure in the coolant reservoir if the pressure within the gas region goes above a second higher predetermined pressure. The multi-functional unit also includes an air-line and a check valve for allowing ambient air to enter the gas region if the pressure within the gas region falls below ambient pressure. The multi-functional unit also includes a cooling fluid fill line having plumbing that causes the coolant reservoir to vent prior to a cooling fluid cap being removed.

Abstract: A liquid hydrogen storage system having minimized tanking losses. Hydrogen is discharged from a liquid hydrogen tank through connector piping of a filling connector to a discharge pipe and then to an external device, such as a fuel cell. As such, the connector piping is maintained at a cryogenic temperature substantially that of liquid hydrogen. During refilling of the tank through the already cryogenically cold connector piping there is substantially reduced evaporation of the liquid hydrogen provided by a liquid hydrogen tank station.

Abstract: A liquid beverage dispensing system having a specialized sealed container and a tube which extends from a top of the container and terminates just before the floor of the container. The tube has a one way valve that allows liquid to come up and out of the container when the valve is opened. Before the valve is opened the liquid may be a carbonated liquid under pressure. Then the valve opens upon the user's action, such as, sucking or squeezing the nipple. When the valve is opened the pressure inside of the container exerted by rising or trapped air bubbles exerts a downward force on the liquid below. The downward force thereby pushes the liquid below into and up the tube and into the user's mouth. The one way valve having unique form characteristics to permit this operation and permit other operations.

Abstract: The container assembly includes a container and a deformable lid. The container has a wall that extends between a base and an open end and includes a fulcrum. The deformable lid includes a mounting portion, a depressible portion, and a dispensing portion. The deformable lid is mounted on the container to enclose the open end. The mounting portion is joined to the depressible portion at a first hinge and the dispensing portion is joined to the depressible portion at a second hinge. When the depressible portion is depressed toward the base, the first hinge permits the depressible portion to collapse into the container, the second hinge permits the dispensing portion to slide upon the fulcrum, and the fulcrum biases a forward portion of the dispensing portion away from the base such that the forward portion protrudes from the container.

Abstract: An animal-resistant system for a profiled plastic container has a lid hinged to the container and a latch mechanism having a plurality of radially extending latching pins supported by the lid. A rotary handle actuates the latching pins radially to engage pin receiving holes at the top edge of the container. The cam actuates the latching pins radially outward against biasing to engage the top edge and when the handle is rotated, the cam releases the latching pins to be biased inwardly to release the lid for opening to an open position. Collection equipment can engage lifting bars and remotely actuate the latch mechanism through a release linkage to the cam. An internal safety release can be incorporated into the cam to disable the cam and permit the latching pins to bias to the unlatched position.

The connector is formed with a plurality of protuberances on sides thereof. The sidewalls and the top define an inner space for receiving the connector of the garment hanger. Furthermore, the hollow body has inner sides formed with recesses which are not perforating sidewalls of the hollow body and able to snap onto and to be engaged with the protuberances when the connector is entirely received in the inner space, so as to retain the sizer on the garment hanger.

This is a device for inverting/reforming gloves expeditiously; especially suited for however not limited to substantially thick material gloves including industrial-heavy duty-lined-rubber gloves, ski gloves, leather gloves, heat resistant gloves, multi layered gloves etc. The present invention facilitates efficient cleaning and/or rapid drying of the lining and quick reformation to the proper side with a proper fit. The main objective of the present invention is to promote healthy, morbidity free hands in the workplace and at home.

Attached to the front edge of the top surface is a folding main cover with an interior pouch. When used as a diaper bag, the front and side edges of the waist flap are selectively attached to the top surface thereby holding the strap's transverse axis in a horizontal alignment. The rack includes a pair of horizontal support frame members mounted either directly on the roof of the vehicle, or onto an existing vehicle roof rack. A cargo carrying rack is mounted on cargo carrying arms, which are pivotally and slidably attached to a pair of traveling support arms that are, in turn, pivotally and slidably linked to the frame members. In some embodiments, a motor and gear train raise and lower the cargo carrying rack to and from the roof for loading and unloading cargo. In other embodiments, the cargo carrying rack is raised and lowered manually, with articulated stabilizer arms having a ratchet mechanism at one end and a spring-biased pulley at the other end dampening the speed of deployment.

Abstract: This invention presents strap apparatus that is attached to a carrying bag such as a briefcase, computer bag, or golf club bag. In the first embodiment, the strap apparatus is constructed from a single strap that is configured as a closed loop. The closed loop is constrained to the sides of the bag near the top by two constraining means; the closed loop being divided into two strap segments of approximately equal lengths. Depending on how the straps are shouldered, the bag may be worn in a single-strap configuration, a backpack configuration, or a dual-strap configuration. Transitioning from one configuration to the other is easily done by the wearer without having to remove the apparatus from the bag. Furthermore when in the single-strap configuration, the straps stay together and appear to the casual observer as a single-strap as found on an ordinary bag. The appearance of the bag when in the single-strap configuration will not reveal its multimode capability.

Positioned between the compartments are pages, which are removable and replaceable from the interior of the backpack. The pages include receiver elements to secure articles to the pages. The receiver elements can be specifically configured, e.g., size and shape, to retain specific items. The backpack of the present invention can be combined with a second pack, which would form a larger carrying system. Additionally or alternatively, the backpack can be combined with auxiliary bags or packs, which may be configured for storing and carrying a specific item.
