    Abstract: Semiconductor device manufacturing equipment has a vacuum system that enhances the fluency of the gas being discharged from a chamber of the equipment. The vacuum system has a vent line, and a throttle valve that includes a vent line opening and closing member oriented so that it is readily opened by a concentrated flow of gas in the vent line. The vacuum system may include a heating unit that heats the vent line through which the gas passes. Still further, a bend in the vent line upstream of the vent line opening and closing member may have a gently curved shape and/or may subtend an angle of less than 90°. As a result, the efficiency of the ventilation of the process chamber is improved, making it easier to control the pressure of the process chamber and minimizing the contamination of the throttle valve and the vent line.

    Abstract: A portable heating device includes an enclosed structure for containing and heating water. The firebox is constructed of steel and sits on four removable legs, allowing a campfire to burn on top of and underneath the firebox, maximizing heating elements. The heating of large quantities of water can be achieved by circulating water from a reservoir, through heat resistant hoses to the firebox, and then back into the reservoir once heated. This feature allows a hot tub for camping. A receptacle is placed in the upper firebox allowing a support post to be inserted, which supports a swivel arm or swivel grill for meal preparation. With the attachment of a steam diffuser, the portable heater can be used in combination with a sealable tent to become a sweat lodge.     Abstract: In methods and apparatus for cleaning a wafer, a cleaning liquid is sprayed or jetted in a direction generally tangent to the circular edge of a spinning wafer. This enhances removal of contaminants from areas near the edge. Re-deposition of contaminant pieces or particles back onto the wafer is reduced because the direction of the spray carries the contaminant off of the wafer. Insoluble contaminant films, such as post etch residue, may be removed via one or more of the pressure of the cleaning liquid, the effects of higher process temperatures from heating the cleaning liquid, and by the chemical composition of the cleaning liquid.
